"El Tren de Medianoche" (Midnight Express) es un relato de terror del escritor inglés Alfred Noyes (1880-1958), publicado originalmente en la edición del 3 de noviembre de 1935 de la revista This Week; y desde entonces recopilado en numerosas antologías, entre ellas: No vuelvas a dormir (Sleep No More), editada por August Derleth. Sin duda es el mejor cuento de Alfred Noyes, relata la historia de Mortimer, un hombre que espera el último tren de la noche, mientras recuerda que en su infancia se había obsesionado con un misterioso libro, llamado El tren de la medianoche, y que una de sus imágenes lo inquietaba profundamente, a tal punto que no soportaba verla.
