O nowotworze dróg żółciowych oraz niezwykle ryzykownym przeszczepie wątroby od żywego dawcy opowiada Aleksandra Kąkol - lekarka, a od dwóch lat również pacjentka onkologiczna.
W lutym 2023 roku zdiagnozowano u niej nowotwór dróg żółciowych - CCC, Cholangiocarcionoma. Rokowania były tragiczne - lekarze dawali jej 3 miesiące życia. Dlatego zaczęła szukać pomocy poza granicami Polski. Ostatecznie znalazła ją w Indiach, gdzie przeprowadzono ryzykowną operację przeszczepienia wątroby od żywego dawcy.
