Warning!!!!!The film is graphic.
We will be taking a few wee...
Two major movies were released based on the Clutter Family murders. This week we take a look at both "In Cold Blood" (1967), and "Capote" (2005). The former focuses on the "actual events" of the crime, arrest, interrogation, and executions. The latter pays more attention to how the book and film "In Cold Blood" came to be.
We are doing things a little differently this week. This week we talk about just the history of the 2 movies In Cold Blood, and Capote and stay tuned for next week as we talk about the movies and how they hold up to the actual events.
Welcome back. We apologize for being off last week, but we had some technical difficulties which we have hopefully worked out. This week we talk about the DC/Beltway sniper case. This happened just a year after the 9/11 attacks and led to a great deal of panic in the Washington DC Area. The two responsible for these shootings started their murder spree months prior to the attacks that we all know about already. Give us a like...
Robert Hansen, also known as the Butcher Baker was a serial killer that lived in Anchorage Alaska. The actual events, like most of theses films don't exactly match up. Robert had a special way of treating his victims. We didn't know about this killer before we saw the movie several months back for the first time. So give a listen and hear learn abut the deviousness of this more unknown serial killer.
We made it to episode 10! This episode we talk about the life of and John Dupont. The last name should sound familiar to most as he was the heir to the Dupont chemical company fortune. Now this is about a true crime right? So whats the crime? John is an avid supporter of amateur wresting and other sports, and has athletes come to train at his facility. He ends up murdering one of his trainers Dave Shultz. Why? Well listen an...
Here we talk about the Spielberg film Catch Me if You Can starring Leonardo Dicraprio and Tom Hanks. This is not the typical true crime story with guns, murder and all kinds of violence. Give it a listen in its re-formatted version (sorry if you downloaded previously. There were some problems in editing that we didn't catch).
Here is our first dive into a film not so big budget, but a made for TV movie, "In Broad Daylight." This film covers the case of Ken 'Rex' McElroy and his murder after he acted as much more than a bully in the small town of Skidmore Missouri.
Here is a link to the film on youtube.

Welcome to the continuation of blow. We finish the story of George Jung. We give some updates on his life from the ending of the film. Give us a share and like us on our social media's, Facebook, Instagram, twitter and give us a review on apple podcasts.
This is the first part of the story of George Jung. He is famous for drug smuggling, but this didn't just start with cocaine. We look at his life, crimes and the incessant need for more and more. The film was released in 2001, so there has been 18 years of Georges life that is not covered. Listen as we cover that as well.
Join us as we talk about the infamous John Dillinger and his gang who went on an unprecedented string of bank robberies from 1933 to 1934. There are multiple movies about John Dillinger, but here we focus on on 2009 Film Public Enemies staring Johnny Depp.
Thanks for listening.

Welcome to episode 4. This week we talk about the murder of club kid and drug deal Angel (Andre) Melendez. The film stars Macaulay Culkin as Michael Alig, and Seth Green as James St. James. There are also a number of different pretty big names in the film, but the story is incredible.
Also in this episode we welcome our first special guest to help us discuss this case and film.
Enjoy.
Welcome to Episode 3. This week we take a look at the infamous prison and the famous 1962 escape of 3 inmates. This film was released in 1979. The escape isn't what most people think of as true crime, but is indeed a well known story, and escaping misprision is generally frowned upon.
Welcome to Episode 2. We talk about the classic film Good Fellas, staring Ray Liotta as Henry Hill; Joe Pesci as Tommy DeVito and Robert DiNero as Jimmy Conway. We touch on some of the things that are missing from the film as we focus on the while life of Henry Hill.
Listen to our initial Podcast where we discuss Aileen Wuornus and the 2003 movie Monster, starring Charlize Theron and Christina Ricci. We talk about her life, traumas, and series of murders throughout the state of Florida. She is considered the first documented American female serial killer. We encourage all feedback as long as it's constructive. Let your friends know you love us! ;-)
