Arcana Quest

Back to our Storm King's Thunder episodes!  Stonefist and Bellbottoms climb up to a flying castle and meet a giant who is also a wizard.  He offers to take the party to the town they need to go to and offers a little info on why other giants had attacked the village.  Along the way some unexpected visitors arrive and they don't seem to like turkey legs.

It's October so you know what time it is! Arcana Quest's Halloween Special!  This year Brendan is DM'ing us through The Rise of the Pumpkin King.  Meet Timmy the Tortle and Lenny the Gnome as they investigate the strange reports of pumpkin monsters terrorizing a town.  They also meet our new favorite NPC, Wilburg!  He seems a tad bit Italian and fond of wet pants.

The boys continue their battle against the evil spirit and it's remaining minion.  Things aren't looking good for the party...

We unfortunately had some recording issues with this episode, near the end of the cast things get a bit choppy.  We rerecorded what we could but we couldn't get Will back in time to rerecord so ...

Phillip, Leoric, and Sam run into some faces they should remember but don't seem to and unknowingly head straight into the den of the evil power that has been growing.  Much will be sacrificed, hopefully not in vain.  Will Roman joins the cast to play the big bad in part one of the two part final show down.  (cue creepy music)

We pick up were last episode ended, Leoric has just stabbed the main eye out of the beholder and he is understandably upset by this.  This battle proves to be the gang's hardest one yet.

Also it is our 26th episode (22 of the Rappan Athuk story line and 4 holiday specials)!  That's ONE YEAR of podcasting!  Doesn't seem like a lot but a huge amount of podcasts never make it to the one year mark.  To celebrate this milest...

The party finally find a goblin that has seen the creature they are hunting and points them in the correct direction.  Since they are so far off course the goblins give them a boat to travel the vast underground lakes.  And it is at this point that we show our vast sailing knowledge by using the word "keel" so very wrong.  Ha, beat you to it, no angry comments!  Finally coming face to face with the sphere it makes them an o...

Goblins EVERYWHERE!  The group comes across goblins mining for gold while they continues to search for the mysterious orb that has a Beholder scared to death.  They offer to help them rid the area of monsters hoping to find a lead on where the orb is but instead find something a little more terrifying.

The party comes face to face with a beholder who tasks the party with evicting the "orb" that took over it's home.  Should be easy enough, just hundreds of goblins, dozens of ogres, a monstrous purple worm that could swallow a stadium in one bite, and magical traps stand between them and their goal.  Or they could just face the beholder... what's the worst that could happen?
