Dr. Jennifer Kungle is a Neuro Developmental Optometrist who specializes in vision therapy for infants, children with ADD/ADHD or Autism, as well as patients recovering from traumatic brain injuries or stroke. In this episode Dr. Kungle explains that there is more to our vision than simply having 20/20 eyesight, vision therapy goes far beyond the typical eye exam, and you can have a visual impairment and still have 20/20 eyesight. About Our Guest Dr. Jennifer Kungle, OD, is a graduate from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science degree, Magnis Cum Honoribus, in Physiology. Upon earning her degree, she attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where she graduated, Magnum Cum Laude, in 2000 with her Doctor of Optometry degree. She then undertook several years of additional post-graduate training in the areas of visual development and vision rehabilitation. In 2004 she received her fellowship with the College of Optometrists in Vision Development and is currently board certified in vision development and vision therapy. Originally from a farming community in Saskatchewan, Canada, Dr. Kungle now resides in South Anne Arundel County with her husband and two young daughters.
