Johnson is certified as a personal trainer by the American Council on Exercise (ACE), a master trainer by the International Sports and Conditioning Association (ISCA), and a master fitness trainer by the United States military A member of the U.S. Army for over thirty years, twelve of those as a member of a Special Forces Airborne Unit, he is also a graduate of Grantham University and DeVry University. He lives in Washington, D.C.
