Dance and cheer at Carlsbad High School is serious business. Each member works hard to learn each choreographed move and technique for the betterment of the team. Abbey Dugan has been an outstanding athlete in Carlsbad since she started on varsity as an 8th grader. Though she would never tell you this, she is one of the best soccer players Carlsbad has ever seen. Somehow she has been able to balance her sports training and school to a point of being 2nd in her class.
Abbey will be playing soccer for Hardin Simmons University next year.
