İlki 2009 Haziran’ında düzenlenen Alevi Çalıştaylarında gündeme getirilen talepler, 8 Şubat 2010’daki 7. Alevi Çalıştayında rapora dönüştürülerek dönemin Başbakanı Erdoğan’a sunuldu. Ancak Alevilerin temel taleplerinin hemen hiçbirisi Erdoğan ve AKP hükümeti nezdinde kabul görmedi.
