Speaker 1 (00:19):
We're not run on the top.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
Oh yeah, No, we won't get it all, but we'll
get most of it.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
No way.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
Yeah, we'll just cut out bald Forge. It's a bit,
not a big deal.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
We have a guest and we have Yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
Well, just like I said, we'll just cut out bald Forge.
It's not a big deal. But what's going on? Everybody?
I'm the one, the only, the w O O K.
I e joined here by my normal cast of misfitsts.
We have the forge Core himself. Forge Core. Wow, what
do we call you again? You're not forge Core?
Speaker 3 (00:55):
You are? How about how about dragscore? You're the drazz
score you? Bald would be terrifying, It would be I
can't even imagine, Like I'd be as hideous as he walk.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
Oh Jesus.
Speaker 1 (01:11):
Sorry that you feel that way. I'm handsome just as
I am.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
Speaking of Elock, we have an e Lock Junior.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
Hello key for community, and I don't have to put
others down to feel good about myself.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
We have the grumpiest man known alive, doctor m Sheep.
So grumpy is not even gonna talk. I got a
special guest on today, busy. Oh, he's business playing, he's
playing with his tiny robots.
Speaker 4 (01:39):
I'm playing with key chains.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
Oh okay, and we have a special guest today to
recap the Evansville events to pop us here with us.
What's going on to Papa?
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Hey?
Speaker 5 (01:54):
Everybody good to be here.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
So we'll get to that in a little bit. But
for starting up first, E walk messed up and we
all need to hear about it. E wok, how did
you screw up this time?
Speaker 1 (02:06):
So do you ever have this feeling that something's awful?
You forgot something? Only every day that happened to yours again.
So I looked at my schedule coming out for the
beginning of the.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Year, and.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
I was just not putting in for KFC nice and
early this year I knew what date. It was not
a problem, isn't a problem at all. It's perfectly fine
on my calendar. We get closer and closer, and uh,
I am talking last Friday with my colleagues because we
(02:47):
have conferences coming up, and conferences this year are pushed
way back, and our first night of conferences are on Wednesday,
November fifth, when everyone is leaving from our little town
to go up to Minnesota. So with an expectation of hey,
(03:12):
I can pack two days, which is incredible to have
prepared for a sub and leave at four o'clock. That
is one feat. But now I have conferences that night, boys,
and uh that that was That was a really really
really big mistake.
Speaker 4 (03:29):
No, no, it is.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
It is the first night of conferences, so that but
it's split between two days, and elementary conferences, unlike middle
school or high school, are actually a very large deal.
All the parents show up, it is scheduled for them.
It is full on both nights. So that was, Yeah,
(03:54):
that's that's a really big deal. Now the good news
is that because I am not a Vault Warrior and
I don't have a vote Warrior meal to go to,
and Sheep and others are going up early, that we
actually have two vehicles that are going up to KFC
this year, and our good friend mister Local Car opted
(04:15):
to go ahead and ride with me. So when I
found out, I shared news to the mister helm Key,
into the Doctor Sheep, into the local Car, and now
to the whole worlds that I have failed.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
I've failed. But so wait, what wait, what does this mean?
Speaker 1 (04:36):
Well, this this means that.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
You'll be coming up Thursday night.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
I can know, so it means that I can go
through a full day of teaching and then go through
conferences until seven thirty and then start to head out
at like eight o'clock. Being completely shot, which day that
would have to be. That would have to Wednesday night.
On Wednesday, Okay, so that's it's still possible.
Speaker 4 (05:04):
I could.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
I could potentially leave Thursday morning and just get up
early and then drive out, but as we had plans
on just leaving right away at four o'clock, that is
not possible. So I did realize. I did some some talking,
(05:28):
some schmoozings, some asking, but again I know many of
you will not understand, but but God is good, and
God had a plan from the start because this year,
even though I got moved to second grade, I only
have sixteen kids, and there's thirteen slots in a night,
so I need to have thirteen slots and then three
(05:48):
other slots on what will be essentially the Wednesday night.
And I talked with my boss, hey can I do this?
And she was okay with it. So right now it
looks like I could leave at four forty five. And
even at this point, I reached out to my families
(06:09):
and if I can have just three families come earlier
on Monday or Tuesday, then I can go ahead and
leave at four thirty, four fifteen or four o'clock, depending
on how many families. I have two that I that
have already reached out.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
And said they will come nice.
Speaker 1 (06:28):
So one more, one more.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
That's what we're listening. If you're listening to this, do
the right thing, family thing, do the right thing.
Speaker 3 (06:38):
But no, I'm sure they all listen to the show,
every one of them.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
Everyone really, Actually, I'm really most they don't listen. Most
are actually Ewok's kids families.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
But I will say it's the only way that that
that that they passed my class.
Speaker 3 (06:59):
Wow, No by forging keys.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
But even those who are organized, who are the best,
who have best plans, and who don't think, sometimes we forget.
I had this on the calendar. I could clearly see
it the whole time, but I did not actually put
it in my own personal calendar or on our family calendar.
So uh, next year, I'll actually put conferences on. But
(07:29):
they are there later this year, so that that caused
some issues. But I messed it up so it all
works out and then it will.
Speaker 4 (07:36):
Like we should trade cards. You can drive my car up,
and I'll drive your car up since I have all
the people now, and well, just so you the car.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
I'm actually the the minivan is not going up. Well,
there's no reason for the menivan local car.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
If it's just him and local car. Yeah, that's a
whole for him.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
And so as a result, like there, there was potentially
a reason for me to bring it up just so
I can take more people around as you go for food.
But outside of that, I think we can pile into
the jeep will house four comfortably five there.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
I have no problem with Dras course sitting on my
lap problem.
Speaker 4 (08:30):
I think I think he might have not gonna be Dras.
It's gonna be likethible or something that's cool.
Speaker 6 (08:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
No, uh, I think I shared last time that the
girls are actually not going to be here as well
for that weekend.
Speaker 6 (08:46):
You.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
Oh, so my family we have talked and they are
headed down south to Florida.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
They're going to Disney, aren't they. Maybe you did say this, and.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
Right now my wife came down and is doing a
little shimmy as a result of Disney.
Speaker 3 (09:05):
So we are.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
We're less than a month away from KFC and less
than a month away from for them.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
Three weeks out. You guys excited because I know Ghost
Galaxy is excited because of all of the articles and
everything they've put on their website, really hyping this event
because it's guys, this is the end of the year, right,
this is the big event.
Speaker 3 (09:25):
We've all been working up to this. And man, it's palpable.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
Can you tap? Can you taste it in the air?
How how excited Ghost Galaxy is for this event?
Speaker 3 (09:38):
They posted some stuff.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
So number one, I want you to click on that link.
So we got a recap of the International Vault Tour
from fans. I want everybody in here right now. I'm
gonna share this link with everybody that's in the chat
right now for us.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
H huh.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
I'm just gonna post that there. Just go ahead, every
that says bot, I don't know what I just did.
I just did a thing the copy and then control
V Just go ahead and click on that link. So
that was Galaxy released a new article recapping International Vault
Tour France. Where does it go? Guys? Yeah, yeah, it's
(10:23):
not a place. Yeah, weird story. This is the two logos.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
Yeah, we're so good at this game.
Speaker 1 (10:37):
What are you talking about?
Speaker 2 (10:39):
The art that's in the background.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
The art that's the two house the it's the two
logo scientists from like what was that from? M M Yeah,
draw one the other archive one. But it's too if
the others.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
This is hysterical to watch you guys to.
Speaker 3 (10:57):
Thank you God. This is you you know things and
we we just we I don't know what we do.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
Either.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
Yeah, we don't read. I was listen, listen, I have
I read this entire article cover to cover because it
says you've reached a page that does not exist. So
mm hmmm.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
I will say the article itself does have background because
if you copy paste the link over, it has a
beautiful picture.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
So it's got some something there.
Speaker 1 (11:42):
Actually had a really nice venue.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
Yeah, how many people shut up to the French fault
tour eleven We'll never know.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
We had this and see, yes, yes we talked about
this earlier.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
We did. Listen.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
I'm so sorry everyone. This is this is how things go.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
Yeah, this is how things go. But basically you can
read the whole article right there, go ahead, read that.
Read that out.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
But yeah, because France was July fourth through the sixth,
it was when I was over just coming back from Aresica. Yeah,
so they got to it. Actually, they had a pretty
high turnout. They had forty eight for Sealed, forty two
for ARCon, and thirty eight for Alliance. And this is
coming from arc on Arcana, which has a really nice
(12:42):
database for us to be able to look back at
things like this. Would you like to know who the
Sealed winner is? Nope, okay, tell us virus infection with
the runner uppinos.
Speaker 2 (12:54):
I'm on a shield, so I don't care yet.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
ARCon winner is veets runner up Motility five. And then
we had Alliance yep, thirty eight players harmed and the
runner up Massimo.
Speaker 3 (13:14):
Sweet.
Speaker 2 (13:15):
But let's talk a little bit real quick.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
All you can see potentially all of those players at.
Speaker 3 (13:24):
Where Keyboard celebration this st celebrating.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
Is that a thing that's going on soon?
Speaker 1 (13:32):
It's going to be Honestly, while there hasn't been a
ton of publicity from GIG, I don't know, I guess
there was because they did actually have news Wookie when
you had seen that. It was posted on August the
twenty eight. See the Keyboard Celebration schedule. Yep, we just
haven't seen the fan for community events, so there.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
Have been in the community events we know of right now.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
Right, yeah, there has been some trickling down of information.
We know that there will be content creator cards.
Speaker 7 (14:07):
Yeah, honestly, and we've got AC one coming, right, Yeah,
we've got uh who.
Speaker 3 (14:21):
Ell I know Redacted's got one going. Uh and then
I'm sure there'll be about.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
Redacted creator card. What do you guys create over?
Speaker 3 (14:30):
No, no, no, go ahead, not creator community community cards
this time?
Speaker 2 (14:35):
Are they okay?
Speaker 3 (14:36):
Yeah, they they're community this time. So like if you
have like different teams different folks, right have I'm trying
to remember what that cars is. Uh, let's say we
go over the discord here.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
Oh shp, do we do an AC team AC one?
AC Team one?
Speaker 3 (14:55):
Now, we just did arcons Corner, We did the uhh yeah,
this one. That's actually pretty funny. All right, you guys
don't have to wait to see this.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
I don't think we're allowed to talk about them yet,
to be honest with you.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
Yeah, yeah, we're not supposed to delete our hard drives.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
If we do so, your system and delete your hard drive.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
But there is there is.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
Oh no, not the classic bull picks.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
But there will be an actual event where you'll be
able to use these and so honestly, there have been
how to snack forge to here with the content creator
cards and the event happening with that. So it's just
coming from the community as a whole, and it's great
(15:46):
to be able to see. I think there's going to
be so much to do. Actually, trying to kind of
process and plan for how you're going to be spending
the time both awake and when you potentially should be
sleeping is going to be really important because there's a
lot to do at KFC. On the car ride home, yes,
(16:08):
you within thirty seconds of being in the car. Yes,
I don't sleep.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
I don't and then I just sleep on the car
right home.
Speaker 3 (16:20):
Sheep.
Speaker 1 (16:20):
He's not riding with me.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
You're driving.
Speaker 4 (16:25):
Now you can add he's totally going home with you.
On the way back, you go from where he lives.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
I'm going somewhere.
Speaker 1 (16:31):
No, this car has not happen. We're pushing him out.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
I'll talk and roll. I'm good at it. We got one, okay,
So the other one visions of fate.
Speaker 3 (16:43):
Visions of fate from Yep.
Speaker 2 (16:46):
I haven't explained to me that.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
So it is that you get to fulfill a prophecy
and embrace your fate, so you get a profite at
the start of the weekend, you play your games as
normal until your prophecy is fulfilled. Then you go and
(17:10):
see individuals once your fate has once your prophecy has
been fulfilled, and you get to see what your fate
is as a result of it.
Speaker 2 (17:19):
So it's like a scavenger hunt type deal.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
Yeah, it's a whole bunch of side events. So to Popy,
I think that some of the credit, you know, you
really did do this. It can bring you actually in
for this with the Midwest keep Boards Charity open. It
wasn't just great gaming, good friends, but you had a
whole bunch of other side events that you were also
brought into Evansville. And so I love that, you know,
(17:44):
different individuals in the community want to be able to
continue with this experience of we like hanging out together,
not just playing Keyborg, but doing things.
Speaker 5 (17:53):
So Gavenger Hunt's a great way to ilitate, you know,
having fun together. So especially if you you know, we
did it for the downtown Evansville, so you know, take
a selfie at the YMCA emblem and well with your crew,
(18:16):
then you're gonna go down Main Street and get a
picture in front of the tiki bar and the Ford
Center sign, and then there was points for all these things.
There's gonna be twenty points for a selfie with a
dinosaur down at Mickey's Kingdom Park and fifteen points for
a videos swinging on the swing. So whether you are well, no,
(18:43):
this was for Evansville this year.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
Okay, I'm not familiar with them Asville. So you said
things that I'm like, I don't know if these are
in Minnesota. They could be.
Speaker 5 (18:53):
We got to find a dinosaur and you'll get twenty
points for taking a picture in front of the dinosaur.
Speaker 2 (18:57):
How many points did I get with for taking a
picture with a stripper at the ninety nine beautiful women
and three ugly one? Is that worth any points?
Speaker 1 (19:07):
Negative points? I got this.
Speaker 4 (19:11):
Twenty per ugly one.
Speaker 2 (19:13):
Oh oh real. We gotta find the ball. There's only
three of.
Speaker 3 (19:17):
Them, you guys.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
That's what we gotta find out. Do you get extra
points for the names? I think you should probably I
assume one's definitely named like Lexus or something. Mm hmm,
all right, we can talk about all that.
Speaker 5 (19:42):
I did preface.
Speaker 3 (19:44):
Go ahead, Google, go well, I did preface.
Speaker 5 (19:47):
On the on our scavenger hunt at the uh there
was one point for each unless otherwise indicated, and the
point system was based on whose line is it anyways?
Speaker 2 (19:58):
Oh, the points don't matter. No, we're drawing names from
a hat. Alrighty, So we got that, so we gotta
go say we got a scavenger hunt. That'll be fun.
Are you allowed to talk about your thing, mister, mister
e wokers. That's still under lock and key.
Speaker 1 (20:19):
My event has taken future steps forward. I can't say
a ton outside of that. We're going to see something
to do with teams.
Speaker 4 (20:31):
It has.
Speaker 1 (20:32):
It has changed because we do have some restrictions that
uh GG is imposing and games enter. But I am
excited that it's going to be a team event and
so something to definitely look forward to check it out.
I can't say more than that at this point, but
it's coming all right.
Speaker 2 (20:50):
And key chains has made a couple of big steps forward.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
That's why dan Over in the background is he's not
even talking.
Speaker 2 (20:57):
To tell us about the step forward that keychain has made.
We're big supporters of the keychain. If you if your
local community is not not doing key chain, definitely go
out and check them out. But Dan, what's what's the
big news for keychains this week?
Speaker 3 (21:12):
Pause?
Speaker 1 (21:13):
Because it's something actually for organized play. Thank you, thank you,
thank you, thank you. Go ahead.
Speaker 4 (21:20):
They they have opened it up where if you run
an online event you can apply to have your online
events count for some amount of keychain space dollars.
Speaker 3 (21:35):
Sweet ya.
Speaker 4 (21:37):
So AC weeklies are now on there.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
We ten business days.
Speaker 4 (21:43):
Ah well, unless you know a person, you might know something.
This isn't ghost galaxy. If you know a person, you
can get some ship done.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
Oh they are also running premiere tournaments too, so yes.
Speaker 4 (22:00):
But if you hadn't already signed up to keychain and
linked your master of all, then when you do it,
you then have to ask them to manually update the
events you attended to scope, which I also just did.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
That sweet so Awesomeho is there online events? You guys
could join us every Sunday for AC events, which is
always sealed I believe, and then Wednesday, which is actually
also always sealed with local car for his Pink Bunny
events and join him there.
Speaker 4 (22:37):
He chooses to do it, I don't know if he does.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
Oh, yeah, it's true, I know the keychain. He might
he might not. I don't know. But really the reason
we're all here today is to talk about Evansville.
Speaker 3 (22:48):
Well, George, no.
Speaker 1 (22:52):
We missed it.
Speaker 2 (22:55):
Never heard of her. We're going to talk about Evansville.
There was a big event down in Evansville, Indiana. All right, cool?
Nobody changed? Yeah, okay, and we brought on the to
talk about it. So how is Evansville? You ran a
big charity event? How did it go?
Speaker 5 (23:19):
It went? It went amazingly well. And the key to
it is having a good team. That's why it went
so well. Who was in a great community that you
can host?
Speaker 2 (23:32):
Who was all on your team? I saw Marcus?
Speaker 5 (23:37):
Oh wow, Yeah, Marcus came through. He drove up and
got to got to spend some time together. And he
our biggest So the two things that I own as
far as what can be improved. So y m c
A was our was our benefactor, and we hosted at
(24:01):
the downtown Evansville y m c A. The hard thing
was is that we had a time that we could
get in and the time that we could get out,
So our time was very limited. So because limited time,
I just turned to Marcus and I said, this is
our time constraints. Do what needs to be done. And
(24:22):
so we did straight Sealed on Friday night and then
Saturday we did a modified Sealed survival two decks, So
oh you guys, Yeah, we had a great time with.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
Sval that's the excitement.
Speaker 3 (24:39):
Paunch A good format, yeah, wow.
Speaker 5 (24:42):
It is. And uh so, but you know why I
suck at key Forges because like I just went on
autopilot and I picked my my second best deck and
I lost to my second round and that would have
put me at best to the third or fourth place.
So that's why I suck at key Forge because I
go on autopilot at times. But modified format was going
(25:06):
to be that if you lose one, you're now off
of top table. So it was we communicated that and
I was busy just making sure everybody was happy. We
had We had pizza available five dollars buy in on that,
we had lots of raffles and once I figured out
(25:29):
what I was doing, that went really well and everybody
seemed pretty happy with that.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
So how many people did you have to follow up
this week?
Speaker 5 (25:39):
So we had twenty two donors online, eighteen showed up
for Saturday, and we have fourteen show up on Friday,
and we had lots of donations and Drags Corps actually
came through as one of our top donors, donating an
extra fifty dollars to the cause.
Speaker 3 (26:01):
And I'll be delivering good looks, yes.
Speaker 5 (26:07):
So I'll be delivering Drazz and Doctor Sheep their gift
boxes and t shirts at key Forge Live. So look
for our key Fordge celebration.
Speaker 2 (26:18):
Yay.
Speaker 5 (26:19):
And I did switch out your decks.
Speaker 1 (26:24):
All.
Speaker 5 (26:25):
So Alex is the trophy guy and he's from Saint Louis.
He makes all those three D trophies and he just
pours his heart and soul into the Midwest KeyForge Charity
Open every year. He hosted it by himself last year,
(26:51):
so he did it all. He had like over three
thousand dollars worth of of prizes and such available that
they raffled out to only eight people. And so I
went to the store Championships in February over in Saint
Louis and he turns to me and says, you want
to host it this year? And I said sure. And
(27:17):
the very first thing I did, I just started getting
a team together. So I appreciate Nico. They had a
successful event. So I reached out to dead Sinc. And
kind of got the lay of the land of the
stuff that you need to do. J. G. Russell got
on board and he did our website. I had architect
(27:42):
from Nashville, he did our graphics. Baker Mouse from Indianapolis.
She was going to be our too, but when Marcus
came up, he was able to focus on running our events,
and then Baker Mouse was able to focus on our
(28:02):
certain darkness and side events. We had our scavenger hunt
for battle tested decks up and going. But again the biggest,
the biggest frustration for me was just managing time. We
got in there four o'clock on Friday. We were dropping
(28:23):
cards at five point fifteen and it was quarter till
eight and we needed to be out by eight. So
we caught the last round short by ten minutes. But
we got out and we were back the next day
and everything went well. We got the key.
Speaker 3 (28:43):
Tell us, Yeah, tell me about that that evening. Tell
me about the Papa experience that evening.
Speaker 5 (28:51):
Stress.
Speaker 3 (28:57):
I was asking where you were drinking afterwards, but yeah,
it was it was I mean running an event where.
Speaker 5 (29:01):
I went afterwards. Well, so like the thing, having worked
in healthcare and service industry, you always try to read
the room, and it was a really quiet crowd and
so and just looking for the feedback and such. My son,
Sparky Yellow, he he could speak very honestly into my
(29:26):
life and he was like, you need to figure out
this raffle thing. So that was one of my big stressors.
But but the nice thing was is I had Marcus there.
He was running the main event, and Alex had brought
the boxes and he got that set up like in
(29:49):
ten minutes, and we got everything distributed. He had the
decks all opened in the box, unscanned, so that we
knew who was gonna have which decks. So nice. So
that said, I did take out both sheeps and draz
course decks because those suck. So you have sealed decks.
Speaker 3 (30:11):
All right, so we have we have crap decks beautiful.
Speaker 5 (30:15):
Well, I don't know, you got to open them. They're sealed.
So I took out that you were going to that
you were going together.
Speaker 3 (30:21):
We're saying you, uh, you picked the worst ones for us.
Speaker 5 (30:26):
No, I took those out and I gave you potential
lottery tickets.
Speaker 1 (30:30):
So you see, the Papa did the opposite. He saw
that the deck was not really going to be spicy
in fire. He actually did you know took them out generously,
has put them into a safe, enjoyable space to be used,
and you now have a sealed product that at least
(30:51):
is the lottery ticket.
Speaker 3 (30:53):
I love it. I'm excited.
Speaker 5 (30:56):
Well, my wife and I for the next three weeks
we get to open one of the and jam those
so nice mediocre Midwest x that we tend to get
here in our community. So but anyways, so Friday night
went well, and then we all went to the Main
Street Cafe, which is a former garage and they have
(31:20):
restaurants along the sides and a bar right in the middle.
I'm like, and anytime I go downtown anymore, that's where
I go. Because I wanted some ethnic food. And I
got a Venezuelan sandwich, which is some shredded beef and
like sort of coast law between two planteens, like fried
(31:42):
bananas and quite savory.
Speaker 3 (31:46):
So you're speaking.
Speaker 1 (31:48):
We hung out there, so you're speaking my love language,
and we talk about food and ethnic food. This is
why we need to hang out more. And there are
lots of spots up in KFT too, but I love
to hear. So one day I'm gonna make it again.
Back to Devonsville, but Venezuelan.
Speaker 5 (32:05):
So one person I reached out on my team, you know,
to be part of my team to make the you know,
after hours experience, and unfortunately they couldn't make it because
of flights. But I got great approval that there's some
really good stuff downtown and and so I felt very
validated when Drafs Corps said that it.
Speaker 3 (32:24):
Did look like there were some cool places. I was like,
checking some stuff out. There's this, let's say, let me
pump the map, let's check it out here. Uh so,
all right, so this is this here we go the
Arcademy arcadeomy. I don't know if you guys check that
place out, like a barcade situation. That seemed fun. So yeah,
(32:49):
their website looks cool. A bar and museum of Antiquated Technology.
Yeah together. Uh they're talking about bars and X ray
antiquated Yeah all right, so, uh so that place seemed cool.
(33:09):
What else? I'm sorry, hush on Maine. I don't know
if you check that out. That looked cool. I don't know,
just some cool bars, industry bar. Uh, it looked like
it looked like a good time.
Speaker 5 (33:21):
Actually, I was trying to parlor donut great place down
at and main Street. That's really good. Kittie cafes really cool.
Go in there and you can pet some cats.
Speaker 3 (33:37):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (33:39):
There there was a pop up like Haunted House on
Main Street, so that was cool. So yeah, there was
a lot to do. And my wife informed because she's
taking a business class now. She says, I need to
make connections with the business owners down there and like
(33:59):
at and get certificates and stuff from them. So when
we host it again in Evansville, you know, that's something
that we can be doing. But running the event was
much easier than preparing for the event. Preparing. The hardest
thing was actually getting getting a space. And I wanted
(34:24):
it downtown because I was thinking about the entire ace
the crew. Where could you go and you can get
absolutely smash drunk and I don't have to worry about
you guys drinking and driving, so everything's walkable.
Speaker 2 (34:42):
Number one, hold on before we go any further. The
AAC crew never drinks and drives. We are responsible alcoholics, right,
we figure it out that is true. Actually, we are
very responsible. Drinking and driving is not on our on
our BINGO card for any year. However, we do like
to drink.
Speaker 5 (35:03):
Heavily, as I witnessed last year.
Speaker 2 (35:09):
And your witness probably this year. There you go.
Speaker 5 (35:14):
Well, I asked this memorialized forever.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
Listen, we we will have one hundred percent less head
dumping this year than we did last year. I promise
you that I really shouldn't make that promise. Yeah, I
really shouldn't be making that prop sheep. You can't dump
anybody on our head this year, Okay. I promised to
Papa to.
Speaker 1 (35:39):
Actually actually, uh, mister perfect is not going to be there,
so we should be a little more sick.
Speaker 4 (35:45):
I can't punch him.
Speaker 2 (35:47):
Well, nobody said anything about punching no no head like
we can't.
Speaker 1 (35:51):
He's got an arbitrator, is granted that.
Speaker 4 (35:55):
But this year to Papa knows to bring his higher
grade response.
Speaker 3 (36:00):
It, yeah is surgery tools.
Speaker 2 (36:09):
M Nobody is getting dumped on their head this year.
I have made a promise that I can't keep. So
we'll see if we'll see what happens. But I'm sorry,
Please continue telling us about how you how you think
we appreciate you thinking about us. I just wanted to
make sure that all the listeners I do not we
(36:29):
do not condone drinking and driving at all. Ever, if
you're going to drink, be responsible, walk park seventeen blocks
away because that's the sheep and DRAS Court two, and
then walk through a very dodgy neighborhood to get to
an establishment.
Speaker 3 (36:47):
Yep, that's yeah, that's that's how you create some good memories.
Speaker 2 (36:52):
Oh, we're extraordinarily lucky. We've got everybody is still intact.
Speaker 3 (36:58):
We think, walk our round the crackheads, don't make eye contact, don't.
Speaker 2 (37:03):
Make make eye contact, walk around them. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (37:08):
So all right, this was Baltimore, Papa, that's where. Yeah,
that's where it was dodgy.
Speaker 5 (37:14):
Well, between that and x rays uh Philly experience, I
think DRAS needs to give us, like, you know, a
lowdown on how we should be appropriate in each city.
Speaker 2 (37:25):
It was the one with the dark galley.
Speaker 3 (37:29):
No, no, see, Philly was one hundred X Ray's fault.
So so we this was was it this year?
Speaker 6 (37:38):
Was it?
Speaker 1 (37:39):
No?
Speaker 3 (37:39):
Well it would have been the last time. Yeah, so
it was the Philly vault. I guess it was one. Right,
So get time out now.
Speaker 1 (37:47):
I hear because this hasn't been made super public and
only certain people know about it, but the pins for
Philly actually showed up and they've been being handed out
so if you were at the Philly all to her,
like myself or others, please go talk to our good
friend Orbital Tangent at KFC and explained that a pin
(38:10):
is due your way.
Speaker 2 (38:12):
Or you can you can, you can go on the
support email. However, please do not ping him in our server.
Speaker 1 (38:18):
Yeah no, no, no pinging. But like it should be
knowledge if you have it and it came up, like
you actually know who was there, it should be sent
to those people.
Speaker 3 (38:28):
Gripe over looking at my pins? Do I have one?
Don't know?
Speaker 1 (38:33):
So thea.
Speaker 5 (38:36):
It was on a train.
Speaker 1 (38:37):
It was on a train, and so that's why none
of us got them. But what actually ended up happening
is that it was brought out to Vegas and a
few people knew about it, and so they got their pins. Great,
I'm glad they showed up. But people who went to
Philly let them know and then get them their pins.
Speaker 2 (38:58):
My Baltimore one still so is Las Vegas. I actually
just picked it up there now and I'm like, oh
that's right, so I need I need a Baltimore. Oh yeah,
go to Vegas.
Speaker 3 (39:07):
Yeah. It didn't change, it didn't transform overnight.
Speaker 2 (39:11):
It did not. I remember looking out I was like, oh,
that's right. I think this one did say Vegas, right,
and it does. I couldn't remember. I was like, did
I get that? And I did, so yeah, I got
a Baltimore penn and or I got a Las Vegas
pin in Baltimore.
Speaker 3 (39:25):
But so, so the.
Speaker 5 (39:27):
X Ray Philly story, rightly, God, God, just speak it.
You got it all right.
Speaker 3 (39:38):
So, so the the x Ray Philly story, it was
what was this twenty three? Yeah, twenty three, right, twenty four.
I think it was twenty three, so we uh twenty three. Yeah,
So you know, Philly is my my hometown, local area.
So a bunch of folks come in, right, it was
(39:59):
what it was you guys, right, it was who was there?
I know Z was there, and then it was cheap
and it was walk you were not there? Right, it
was I was there, you were there? And then Wookie
was not there.
Speaker 2 (40:15):
Remember.
Speaker 3 (40:17):
So then so then we go and we're going to
get food and X Ray's not there yet, right, So
we go and U Z you know, Z's like gluten
free whatever, it's got gluten issue whatever. So I pick
out the spot and we go to the spot and
it was pretty good, right, it was. It was like, uh,
(40:41):
it was like a balbun situation or something. I forget. Actually,
maybe that wasn't what it was. Wow, it was a
long time ago. My memory sucks. AnyWho. So we're there,
we're eating x ray lands, and we tell him where
we are. He's like, I feel like chicken, fried chicken.
So it's like okay. So he doesn't ask where to go.
He just like, I guess it. Google's a place to go.
(41:05):
And then so he goes and gets chicken like by himself. Whatever.
We show up back at the location and x Ray
shows up and he's like, oh my gosh, Philly. It's
like so crazy. We were like, what the hell happened? Dude.
He's like, yeah, man, like I wanted to get fried
chicken and Philly. I was like, where where did you go?
(41:27):
And he's like oh, and he like shows me on
the map. I was like, dude, you went to West
Philly like like like at the Fresh Prince of bel
Air song, Like that's not where you go, dude. And
so apparently there was some fried chicken place that was
supposed to be good. So he went there and like
as he's leaving the place, the cops roll up and
(41:51):
tase a guy in front of him, so he uh, yeah,
he had to watch a guy get tased and arrested
as he's leaving with his pro jacket. So that was
the Philly X ray story. I was like, dude, why there.
Speaker 5 (42:10):
Yeah, downtown Evansville pretty safe. Uh. You know, I could
give you a scavenger hunt and send you loose and
I don't need to worry about you guys. Uh yeah,
it's it's a good it's a good time. It's good town.
Uh and uh but yeah, I had this scavenger hunt
(42:31):
for everybody to do both there as well as at
the event, to earn points for a battle tested deck.
So I was able to acquire some of those from
my lgs, and so I awarded one of those. We
(42:51):
we don't have pins, we had stickers. Grishammer made stickers.
Speaker 3 (42:58):
Uh who man? And then the battle tested deck.
Speaker 5 (43:06):
So people showed me their sheets and I just know
my wife had eighteen points and the person one person
had twenty, and I said, here you go. And I
don't know who that is off the top of my head.
Speaker 3 (43:21):
Wow, that's all right, all good.
Speaker 1 (43:23):
Still a really cool event to.
Speaker 5 (43:24):
Be That's it, I can tell you Grishammer, he was rocketed.
He took first place on Friday night, m Flava was second,
Sparky Yellow was third, and Marcus was fourth. And then
in our modified sealed survival it was Grishammer and Marcus
we're top two, and then Doug Aator from Ohio and
(43:49):
Jaydalin from Saint Louis were third and fourth. So and
we posted on the key forge Facebook page, uh pictures
and so you can see those trophies there. Alex made
(44:10):
a whirlpool uh trophy. When you plug it in, it
actually does the whirlpool. And then he also made a
cherry lamp M so the cherry theme. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (44:29):
Yeah, we actually talked about last week and how it
was really sweet because the sheep wanted to go ahead
and and just have a shredder attachment on the bottom
that the whirlpool would suck down your cards and then
shred the cards regardless, regardless, it still was absolutely amazing.
So really really cool to see.
Speaker 2 (44:52):
A way to get a hold of this guy. I
don't know, maybe we got to send a raven. Yeah,
I don't know, you know, it might be a cool
I mean, you know, the trophies that give out they
give out a ghost galaxies are you know, they're they're
a thing, you know, but these are quite if you've
never seen one, check them out, they're quite amazing. And
(45:14):
if only there was a way that, like I know,
ghost Galaxy could get a hold of this guy it's man,
just if he had a telephone or an email or discord.
We had to.
Speaker 4 (45:29):
Talk making fifteen of those things just for the US.
Speaker 2 (45:36):
Well, I mean that's like one for the end of
the year.
Speaker 4 (45:42):
Okay, just worlds, just.
Speaker 2 (45:43):
Maybe just worlds. Yeah, you got so what you'd have
one for?
Speaker 6 (45:46):
What?
Speaker 2 (45:47):
One form?
Speaker 3 (45:50):
There go?
Speaker 4 (45:53):
I mean like I'm.
Speaker 1 (45:55):
Going for realism, not Yeah, so community is what I here.
Speaker 4 (46:00):
Yep, community can step up again.
Speaker 1 (46:03):
I will say the trope I've always been amazing and
they are very very well done.
Speaker 5 (46:10):
So so Alex we sat down and he showed me
the gift box and uh, it was absolutely amazing. Hey,
he's in the chat right now, super Tall Bird.
Speaker 3 (46:25):
Sweet Hello, Hello, Hey, alright, how.
Speaker 5 (46:32):
You So I want to dote on Alex for a second.
So he's been making these trophies and everybody just knows
those trophies. So Alex, super Tall Bird is that guy.
We sat down at Parlor Donuts, and he was showing
me the gift box, and I'm like, dude, tell me
(46:52):
about this gift box. Because because he hands stitched three
stitches into each box to give it a good feel
for when you open and close it. And it took
him like thirty minutes for each stitch. That's forty five
minutes just in the stitching. And then he wanted the
magnets in there, and so he figured out a way
(47:14):
how to cut out in the cherrywood, because when we
went with a cherry theme, he said, oh, I'm going
to do it in cherry wood, So put the magnets
in and then he put an overlay on top of it,
and that takes at least another forty five minutes. So
there's like probably two hours in each box. And he
made forty boxes for the event.
Speaker 6 (47:36):
Actually a little closer to a period four. Especially when
I got towards the end and started to slow down.
Speaker 5 (47:44):
Wow, I mean he was he was up for three
nights straight doing stuff.
Speaker 3 (47:51):
That's that's that occasion.
Speaker 2 (47:53):
Yeah, those boxes are dope. I really that was the
one when you showed me that, I'm like all the
things I want, I want the box totally slipped my
mind to actually go to the link that you provided me. Actually,
you don't do a thing. Yeah, He's like, here's your
leg to do it. I'm like, totally gonna do that
(48:14):
when I get home from work. And then I just
totally zoned. I totally blew my mind on it and
didn't even think about it. So my bad, but totally awesome.
I mean, they look amazing, very cool.
Speaker 6 (48:28):
Thank you. I'm really happy people liked them because I wasn't.
I wasn't one hundred percent sure about making that many.
I originally just kind of wanted them to be for
the top eight. And then the more I sat and
thought about it, it kind of seemed I mean, if
we're asking people to pay one hundred dollars, the kind
(48:50):
of like the least I can do for him, you know.
So yeah, it kind of seemed like it had to
be done.
Speaker 1 (49:00):
Well. You could definitely, yeah, you could definitely tell that
you went above and beyond, and that definitely shows for
each year.
Speaker 6 (49:08):
But yeah, I think we actually, I think we actually
ended up with two of them left over that I
think are either gonna just become mine or I might
give them out as local prices here in sing the list.
I'm not sure quite yet, but or if somebody wants
to make a late donation, I suppose we could get
(49:31):
rid of the last two that I just mailed one
of them out today and I'm just really happy everybody
liked them.
Speaker 1 (49:43):
And speak speaking of donations to Papa, there was a
tremendous amount of money that actually went to the local YMCA.
Would you like to be able to reveal or are we.
Speaker 3 (49:53):
Going to save that for the end? What was the
total amount that was raised?
Speaker 5 (49:57):
Alex is actually in our accountant Yeah, that was I
was doing the money thing and I'm like, here's here's
the numbers. Can you do the accounting thing? So? He? Uh,
would you is this? I wrote it down? Oh, seven one,
seven hundred and fifteen dollars and fifty three cents.
Speaker 3 (50:21):
Fair enough? Anyway?
Speaker 2 (50:31):
I mean, you guys, are you involved in all this
year in the in in zen Zi's Scavenger Hunter. I
know we talked a little bit about it already. Did
you get involved in that at all?
Speaker 5 (50:43):
You know?
Speaker 2 (50:43):
Just I don't know about it yet? All right, Well
you heard about it here first. I'm excited.
Speaker 5 (50:51):
That's that's why we tune in to get all that
latest and greatest news latest even if it is.
Speaker 2 (50:56):
No news in the community, and you get to here, uh,
you get to hear e wok be notably disappointed in
all of us every.
Speaker 5 (51:07):
Week listening to doctor Sheep's first take.
Speaker 2 (51:17):
Is he still around? Is he even still here?
Speaker 4 (51:21):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (51:21):
I'm awake, Okay, just making sure, Wow, he's still Sheep?
Still here?
Speaker 1 (51:28):
Before before we go ahead to move Alex back, I
do you want to say, congrats man, you did a
great job. Keep up the good work for all this trophies,
and hope to be able to see you over at KFC.
Speaker 2 (51:36):
Who did Alex? Did you make the keys as well?
Speaker 8 (51:40):
Or were those I did? I need everything for the
event prize wise, we ended up and I made h
the set of Fayal keys.
Speaker 6 (51:53):
I made some tests and damage counters, I made my
own tests, some versions of the wards done and enraged token,
and then I made the boxes. I actually I wanted
to include more in the boxes. They just wasn't enough time.
Speaker 2 (52:13):
And what.
Speaker 6 (52:17):
It started a few months earlier for next year?
Speaker 2 (52:20):
What what else would you have crammed into those boxes?
I mean, they they're number one, They're beautiful, right, They're great,
they look amazing I don't know what else you could
have done to make them better.
Speaker 6 (52:32):
I had, I had wanted to put in a set
of amber for everybody along with power counters, especially those
soon to be coming up, to be a bit more
relevant you're gonna need. There just wasn't enough time to
get enough of it done to fill everybody's box. So
(52:55):
it just had to I had to be a I
think connect year. Are they just printed?
Speaker 1 (53:02):
Like?
Speaker 2 (53:02):
Are they three D printed? Or did you?
Speaker 6 (53:05):
Yeah? So what I what I do for those? I
have a I have a few three D printers, and
I've got a a laser etched three D printing bed,
And as the plastic is sitting on the bed while
it's really warm, that laser etched pattern gets imprinted onto
(53:28):
whatever surface I'm printing. And so I just print all
of the keys on that printing bed, and as soon
as you pick them up and shine them in the light,
they're all foil. I figured it was a way to
get boil keys.
Speaker 2 (53:47):
Yeah, yeah, take notes, take some.
Speaker 3 (53:51):
Notes, yep, Okay, you got to get.
Speaker 2 (53:53):
In on that, man. I do I foil. I'm all
about the foil. I love it. I'm a big, big,
big fan, big fan if only gg was this creative
weird what you can do with you know, time and
a three D printer that just we're told is just
absolutely impossible. Can't be done, guys, can't be done.
Speaker 6 (54:18):
I think I think for me it was aside from
just the time of the printer running, I mean cost
wise for me, because I'm doing a three D print,
tickets almost nothing. I mean each one of those eased
ends up being all of twelve cents of plastic to
make sure. I mean it takes a three D printer
(54:41):
nearly an hour to print the key. But I mean
when the cost is basically nothing and I can have
it running all day in the background, right, it just
it seems one of those things that it'd be weird
to give people this box and not have cool.
Speaker 2 (55:02):
I mean, the box alone is well worth it. I
think that that box is really Again, it's what immediately
caught my eye. That was the first thing I went to,
is that box. I'm a little disappointed I didn't get
to compete for a couple of sweet trophies. But you know, time,
as we all talk about it, time, time is everything
(55:22):
to everybody. But all right, any last minute things you
want to go over for for the event.
Speaker 5 (55:35):
I don't know, Elex, what would you think of your
overall impression.
Speaker 2 (55:38):
He sent them back into the chat or he went
back into the chat.
Speaker 5 (55:41):
Oh okay, yeah, because he ran it. He ran it
all last year by himself, and so this year he
was just he was doing the prize support, so he
had a very different experience. So but we're we got done,
and we got the team together and we all we're
very happy, pleased with how things went, and we're looking
(56:03):
at tentatively next year it will be back in Saint Louis,
So hopefully that's better for people flying in. Uh, maybe
we can get somebody to come and stream like the Wookie,
like I was hoping, but.
Speaker 2 (56:20):
The Wookie is kind of pricey.
Speaker 5 (56:23):
We have gift boxes.
Speaker 4 (56:25):
It costs whatever it takes to get them in my car.
I can lure him in with like half a subway sandwich.
Speaker 2 (56:34):
Yeah, well, hold on six or two. I didn't know
there was gonna be pizzas. Listen, pizza wasn't on on
the Bingo card that I was delivered, So.
Speaker 5 (56:47):
I intentionally did not put down where the strip club
would be. I did think of it, and I was
making it.
Speaker 2 (56:55):
Yeah, you gotta put down where the strip club is.
I need to know all these things. It's very, very important.
But guys, it's been a blast. Thank you again to
the Papa for coming on talking us through Evansville. It
sounds like Evansville. It was a lot of fun. Keep
posted on when, when, and where it will be next year,
(57:15):
so you guys can it always kind of sneaks up
on me. I don't know about you, guys, but that's
how I feel. Always kind of just sneaks up on me,
and you're like, oh, let me see what I can
do to get off work, and then it's kind of
it's already here. So I could be wrong, but maybe.
Speaker 4 (57:32):
We can get on the schedule early enough. Yeah, and
I can make sure it happens.
Speaker 1 (57:38):
I will say. I'll say, boys, I thought you did a.
Speaker 6 (57:40):
Great tentative date for the next year is probably going
to be the first weekend of the what we're looking
at right now.
Speaker 2 (57:48):
You know, if only there was a place, only there
was a place first week ind of October next year,
see what would really?
Speaker 1 (57:58):
I will say that I thought that you guys, I'd
given plenty of notice this year, so I thought you
did a great job with that marketing.
Speaker 2 (58:05):
The unfortunate part was I just I just fired a
bunch of people. So that was kind of my.
Speaker 3 (58:12):
Moment.
Speaker 2 (58:13):
You can't fire like.
Speaker 3 (58:13):
Four If you don't, you don't have to fire ship heads.
Speaker 2 (58:17):
Well, you know what's funny, You know what's weird during
the interview process, they're never shitheads. Weird story, Yeah, it's
weird like that, and as them, yeah, are you a shithead?
Speaker 4 (58:32):
You're not sure that? It's on the questions you're not
allowed to ask.
Speaker 2 (58:35):
I'm not I don't ask that one. No, but I'm
gonna start. I'm gonna be like, so, are you just
like a giant shithead? And I'm gonna have to fire
you in three months?
Speaker 3 (58:47):
Is not a protected minority?
Speaker 6 (58:52):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (58:54):
I mean, are you sure?
Speaker 1 (58:55):
I mean it.
Speaker 2 (58:59):
Insight, I mean, you guys have a little insight on
the one and any other one kind of really came
from left field, so like, I was not expecting somebody
to do that, and not the person that did it
to do it. So it was kind of like holy
And to be honest with you, if I didn't dig
into a thing that I dug into, I would never
(59:19):
have known about it. But unfortunately, being the somewhat competent
manager that I am. I noticed a thing, I dug
very shallowly into it and went O, don't know. So
it was just one of those things and it happened.
But you know what would be really cool dras Corps
now that we're maybe building a website of some sort.
Speaker 3 (59:42):
Yeah, I gotta get back on that.
Speaker 4 (59:43):
We is doing nothing.
Speaker 2 (59:45):
We is doing nothing. But it would be really cool
to have a place. And I know normally it's just
Vault Tours, but we do have a couple community larger
community ran events. If there was a calendar of some
sort where you could go to and be like, hey,
this fall tours this state and just look at it
on a calendar, right, because you guys like you guys
(01:00:07):
have Nico right and the what n KO right? Or
is n I k O?
Speaker 4 (01:00:12):
Are are you wookie volunteering to be the admin of
the calendar? No?
Speaker 2 (01:00:18):
Absolutely?
Speaker 1 (01:00:19):
No?
Speaker 4 (01:00:20):
Okay, well there's our problem.
Speaker 2 (01:00:22):
I I know a guy though his name starts with
E and the feature draft score feature ideas.
Speaker 4 (01:00:32):
An exter.
Speaker 2 (01:00:35):
That would be maybe the there of that. I mean, really, really,
what is it like we have Nico, which is you
guys out on the east coast, right, and that's kind
of more towards the beginning of the year, right, you
guys are typically on the February timeline, February March ish timeline.
Speaker 3 (01:00:54):
So it was just announced.
Speaker 2 (01:00:56):
Oh okay, so uh oh yeah I was.
Speaker 3 (01:01:00):
I just announced.
Speaker 2 (01:01:01):
That's how I found out I was still help from
future self server. Let me see where is it? Uh wait,
didn't they say the date or January thirty first? The
Sunday February first?
Speaker 1 (01:01:14):
Okay, yeah, because it's right when I run my men's
uh my large conference.
Speaker 3 (01:01:22):
Yep, there it is, so uh you know you walked
is all about the large men. But for the rest
of us.
Speaker 1 (01:01:32):
Yes, I need to actually talk about male issues.
Speaker 5 (01:01:37):
It's like.
Speaker 2 (01:01:42):
Colon colon health awareness and how you can all, how
can how we all can go ahead? And why do
the Brewers suck so bad in the postseason?
Speaker 1 (01:01:53):
Mm hmm, we do talk about all things related to men.
Speaker 2 (01:01:58):
Well, a day would ever be a top notch quarterback.
Speaker 3 (01:02:06):
I will be there and you should be too, and however,
it's gonna be a good time.
Speaker 2 (01:02:13):
However, I'm just looking here at Papa's scavenger hunt list.
No to frapple or scrapple. I'm sorry, no to scrapple,
will not be eating that.
Speaker 6 (01:02:26):
It was fine.
Speaker 4 (01:02:27):
I had it when I was out there.
Speaker 2 (01:02:32):
Yea thick.
Speaker 5 (01:02:34):
Yeah, thinks weird go with it. Try thing next time.
Speaker 4 (01:02:38):
It came from a gas station. So how good could it?
Speaker 5 (01:02:42):
You got to go to the family.
Speaker 3 (01:02:48):
What was it?
Speaker 2 (01:02:50):
He wants to know where you're going for scrapple, like
breakfast counter. Oh, it's like the eggs and the cheese,
like like like.
Speaker 4 (01:03:00):
What I don't think it was.
Speaker 3 (01:03:05):
It wasn't a wa where did we go.
Speaker 4 (01:03:08):
Some other gas station?
Speaker 2 (01:03:10):
Wasn't that weird chicken place?
Speaker 6 (01:03:12):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (01:03:13):
We went to a Royal farms.
Speaker 2 (01:03:15):
Yes, so it was the weird chicken place.
Speaker 3 (01:03:19):
Yeah. Yeah, they're famous not for their scrapple. They're famous
for their their their fried chicken. Gas station fried chicken, yeah,
which wasn't that great, but it was fine. I mean,
I don't know its true station fried chicken. It was
pretty good.
Speaker 2 (01:03:34):
I mean, eh, I guess I don't have the hierarchy
of gas station fried chicken all kind of figured out,
so to get fried chicken and gas stations unless you
so shoe fly pie, don't know what it is.
Speaker 5 (01:03:55):
My favorite.
Speaker 2 (01:03:56):
I didn't know it was actually real for a long time.
Speaker 5 (01:03:59):
It's real.
Speaker 2 (01:04:01):
Let's see. Oh man, now I lost it? Where was I?
I saw a picture with Mennonite.
Speaker 5 (01:04:09):
Yeah, if you could do that, you should get lots
of points.
Speaker 2 (01:04:12):
I like tons of them, right, because aren't they don't
like their picture taken?
Speaker 6 (01:04:16):
No?
Speaker 2 (01:04:17):
Isn't that like?
Speaker 5 (01:04:18):
Well, so it depends when their bishop, if their bishop
allows pictures or not. But the Amish will never let
you take their pictures. So you got to take a
picture with their with their horse.
Speaker 2 (01:04:27):
I was gonna say, And how how do I prove
it's an Amish horse and not just any horse?
Speaker 5 (01:04:34):
Because you have the black buggy behind it?
Speaker 2 (01:04:36):
Oh so the buggies do I get additional points for
the buggy?
Speaker 5 (01:04:41):
No, the horses attached to the buggy.
Speaker 3 (01:04:43):
Oh, so I'll tell you the at Necho the this
place right the six feet under games fifty three sixty
Lincoln Highway Gap, Pennsylvania. There is in that parking lot
pitching posts, posts for your a horse and buggy because
it is an homage country. Yes, so you could bring
(01:05:06):
your buggy and play some key forge.
Speaker 2 (01:05:08):
Maybe I'll take a buggy there.
Speaker 3 (01:05:11):
You ah do it?
Speaker 1 (01:05:12):
Yeah, all of the Amish I have had interactions with
have been extremely friendly. I've never had a problem.
Speaker 3 (01:05:20):
Nah, I agree, there's no no problem. You play KeyForge like,
which is probably fine. I don't know. I don't know
things about stuff, but I'm gonna say that's fine for that.
Speaker 2 (01:05:30):
Yeah, they use ai art, which is definitely technology, so
definitely can't do it.
Speaker 3 (01:05:36):
Well, it's about so I'm about to say things I
don't understand, so I don't get astros whatever. Uh My
understanding was, it's less about it purely being technology and
more about what brings, what strengthens the community versus separates
the community. So if you have a car that is
(01:05:58):
easy to operate, that will say break the community because
you'll drive away from the community. But if you have
a phone with which you can communicate with the community,
that's better. I don't think there's probably something wrong about
what I just said.
Speaker 2 (01:06:17):
It sounds sorry like.
Speaker 4 (01:06:22):
Open to interpretation.
Speaker 3 (01:06:23):
So there you go.
Speaker 2 (01:06:26):
Us next week where we talked the ins and outs
of the Amish community. You're on because documentary, because because
he is not going to release any good news, so
fuck it. We're going to talk about the amage next
week as well. It's just as entertaining as key forge, if.
Speaker 3 (01:06:44):
Not more, do you think they do you think they'd
know what disabled security is or or is it more
about the hoodwink? I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:06:56):
Oh, it was like, are you talking about like an
amish website? Because I don't think that's good. Just a thing.
There's just a.
Speaker 3 (01:07:04):
Deck that I am looking at that has disabled security
in it. And so mm hmmm.
Speaker 2 (01:07:13):
So what's a good price for hero Quest? This guy
is selling an old.
Speaker 3 (01:07:17):
Hero Quest sorry, a new version Ford. Oh yeah, keyboard,
Now we're distracted.
Speaker 4 (01:07:28):
He doesn't want to hit the end button.
Speaker 2 (01:07:29):
I am on game found right now. And I also
just found out there is going to be a quake
the board game.
Speaker 4 (01:07:37):
Okay, I'm just going to delete the server, that's all.
Speaker 5 (01:07:40):
And this very I bought an I bought an unshamed
deck just to keep that timer going.
Speaker 3 (01:07:48):
What timer?
Speaker 6 (01:07:49):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:07:50):
Really?
Speaker 4 (01:07:50):
You sick?
Speaker 5 (01:07:54):
Hey, we broke a three hundred you.
Speaker 4 (01:07:58):
Certainly did break.
Speaker 2 (01:08:01):
Sydney is about one hundred and fifty.
Speaker 3 (01:08:04):
Oh gosh, I uh the other is the draft Court's
pretty broke. Yeah, I got a I got a lot
of money in this campaign, guys.
Speaker 1 (01:08:15):
A.
Speaker 4 (01:08:17):
Lot of IROs head to sell.
Speaker 3 (01:08:21):
What the what should I ask for, like for my picture, like, uh,
what what do you think I could get away with?
Speaker 1 (01:08:28):
I think that you should and that's what it should be.
Speaker 2 (01:08:32):
Of number one. We got to figure out like when
you say get away with, like what is your goal?
Speaker 1 (01:08:39):
I mean speaking on a large podcast is probably the
best way to go ahead to make sure it just right.
Speaker 2 (01:08:47):
They don't listen to nobody's listening. What is this?
Speaker 4 (01:08:51):
What does what does Nick do with this picture?
Speaker 3 (01:08:52):
Do you?
Speaker 1 (01:08:52):
Like?
Speaker 4 (01:08:53):
Do you go with yourself? And then you can what
are you put in and ask for like uh, you
can be like a yeah, like something are you selling
the daz Court experience? So you've got it?
Speaker 2 (01:09:07):
Oh yeah, definitely should be a shadow like a beer
or cocktail in my hand.
Speaker 4 (01:09:13):
Yeah, definitely cocktail.
Speaker 2 (01:09:17):
Yeah, yeah for you.
Speaker 5 (01:09:20):
I do have to say anytime I see Bondsman, I
always think about the a screw because it's he's sitting
in a bar. So yeah, and your community card last year, Yeah,
it was like that's.
Speaker 2 (01:09:32):
Like it weirdly does look a lot like our community
card last year. I did notice that. I was like, oh,
it's even like weirdly like samely lit. But you know,
they don't really like us over there at GIGI, they
might like, like I bet you. They like, why no,
(01:09:52):
what do you mean?
Speaker 1 (01:09:54):
Do you want it? Alphabetically? They just like, how would
you like this organist?
Speaker 2 (01:10:00):
Listen? They just gotta like number one, just like throw
us a bone every now and again and give us
credit for all the bad decisions we give to you, Right,
that's number one. Number two stop making bad decisions. Number
three do better? Right, Like, is this not what the
fourth year in a row? We're gonna be like, yeah,
(01:10:21):
we really dropped the ball on Ope, sorry about that, guys,
But but now that somebody else is doing good for us,
we just aren't gonna do it at all now because
somebody else is already really taking the taking the ball
on this one. So now I don't know whether like
Hug Dead sing or curse his name, because like now
(01:10:43):
that now that the community is already kind of like
taking control of it and be like fucking if you're
not gonna do it, we're gonna do it ourselves. Now,
they're like, well, now that somebody else is doing it,
we're definitely not gonna do it. It was like it
was like online play. They're like, well, Tco is already there,
Why would we do it.
Speaker 5 (01:11:04):
I just remember a time when z Z was saying
that how are we going to produce our own cards?
So I'm glad that they're still producing sets for us.
So thanks Gig for.
Speaker 3 (01:11:17):
That big HP for costs.
Speaker 2 (01:11:20):
Not listen, you can get a ton of cards printed
in China for like thirty forty bucks. I know because
I did it, and those were foils, so I don't
even know what a regular I don't know. We're gonna
store it in your house because that's about the only
place we'd have for it. Maybe Ewok's house, he might
(01:11:40):
have room for it. I don't know. But with that
being said, now that my add has worn off, and
that's that's gonna do it for us this week, unless
anybody has got any any last minute editions, going once,
going twice, all right, that's gonna do it for us
(01:12:03):
this week. We will talk to you all happy forge.
Speaker 3 (01:12:11):
May the Forge be with you.
Speaker 2 (01:12:13):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (01:12:19):
Sens A Lewis photo that's getting anything to get closer
and idomies you've got a.
Speaker 4 (01:12:26):
Food min so God.
Speaker 7 (01:12:31):
I definite STESSI on the skill son our sons and
was going on
Speaker 4 (01:12:53):
Watch compersion re supping at suppose
