Speaker 1 (00:01):
Letting you know what is everybody's hard on.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
We're all playing Ristbound now.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Has games put me in the roofbown demo team.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
On everybody, I'm the one, the only the w oh okay,
I e we're still here.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Yay for some Keith Forging, but you know we're back now.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
There's still a game to play. Yes, me and Dexter went.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
To it has double meaning this time.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Yeah, we went to key Forge celebrations and now we're
back until next year.

Speaker 5 (00:55):
We we as in Wookie and Dexter, Felix and I are, uh.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
They are didn't go anywhere.

Speaker 5 (01:06):
I mean I went to Paris, so you know, I mean,
I guess all right.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
I went to Parish. What did you guys do?

Speaker 2 (01:14):
What you we just went to Minneapolis, Minnesota, where there's
pretty much nothing to do.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
Yeah, all of America.

Speaker 5 (01:23):
How is the vibrant scene in the abandoned warehouse that
you guys played key Forging?

Speaker 1 (01:29):
It's not an abandoned warehouse. It is the game center.

Speaker 5 (01:34):
So I guess I can't say anything about game Center
because I believe a guy trying also enjoys that story.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
So I don't know. It was the game center. It
was a good time by all, But concerning news.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
People were just altered. Is still alive, We're still sticking around.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Still alive for okay, so all right, let's talk.

Speaker 5 (02:01):
I don't know why you're starting this episode with concerning news.
This episode is amazing news. Everybody, what okay?

Speaker 1 (02:08):
So what's the amazing news? Your game company lied to you.

Speaker 4 (02:15):
Weeks.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
I was not happy about when I when I saw that,
I I.

Speaker 5 (02:22):
Will say, I'll let you guys talk first and have
your breakdown and discuss whatever you want because I'm too positive,
so you're too. Let's just.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Canocks balls. That's why he gets to go to Paris.

Speaker 5 (02:39):
Everyone listen, I'm not Bill Clinton.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
That's right. Little too soon, we don't know anything yet,
but too soon, A little too soon. We don't know
anything yet, so let's let's just wait. But anyways, go ahead,
you wake up. I don't remem was that was that
Thursday morning? Right away, Dexter, when we were reading this,
I want to say it was right.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
I don't remember when it was. Exactually it was pretty
much right before we went to KFC though.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (03:13):
It was what people are referring to as bloody Monday,
so it was on a Monday.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Well, I don't remember reading it, so it was two
days before we left.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
I don't remember reading it until Wednesday.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
I did see it earlier. I think I saw it
on Monday or Tuesday.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Or maybe it was Wednesday. Either way, I really knew it. Well,
we actually don't need fifty thousand. We actually need two
point five fucking million. Jiminy crickets. That's a far cry
from fifty thousand. Yeah, nobody else, nobody else is like.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Hey, they almost got two point five million.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
They got two point five or so, like they had
to make a cry to the community, yes, to please
help support. They needed to make a cry out and
extend it for a week. Now, if you're not concerned,
you ought to be right, I'm concerned.

Speaker 5 (04:18):
I'm past the point of concerns.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
So I'll like it. But like, okay, so you keep
saying like they say, they're saying, like two concern is
not one of the stages of grief.

Speaker 5 (04:28):
But do you want to but you say a thought exercise.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Sure, let's do a thought exercise.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
I'm ready for a thought exercise.

Speaker 5 (04:35):
Sure, it's actually it's not even a it's not even
a thought exercise. Go to the latest Keyfords campaign and
tell me what their goal was it was and.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
They raised three hundred thousand.

Speaker 5 (04:45):
Yes, okay? And what was their goal on the campaign
before that? I wonder it was always fifty always fifty
all fifty thousand.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
We all cool, we all get it, right, like this
is nothing new, We no, But like if it's it's
a different thing to say, like our goals fifty thousand,
but like we're really looking for like two hundred thousand, right,
you you came out and set our goals fifty thousand,
but we really need two point five million. These are

(05:20):
drastically different numbers because I thought for me, you look
at the campaign, you're like, shit, this campaign's doing fucking phenomenal, right,
they are crushing it, And then all of a sudden
they're like, well not really, guys, please sir, may I
have some more?

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (05:41):
So if key Forge does all of their campaigns at
fifty thousand and altered is also a TCG, and did
theirs at fifty thousand, Uh, guess who suggests the fifty
thousand game found does.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
All of the game down? People? They just tell them
to put fifty thousand means nothing. It's just the marketing play.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
All the fucking marketing play right, we understand it's funded
in thirty seven seconds a right, like crazy, that's not
funded and they got funded that quick. I should go
fund it right now?

Speaker 5 (06:17):
Yes, right, like that is like the standard, then what
is the is?

Speaker 1 (06:24):
But we don't know if it's at We don't know
if it's the standard. Well, the issue basically I'm saying
the issue, well is it? I don't know. Let's go
a couple of other games. Yeah, I guess the other
game founds up here.

Speaker 5 (06:38):
That's what game found suggest specifically for that type of project,
matter what.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
Your goal is, this one's going well that's stupid. I
don't like that.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
Yeah, so obviously you could you could say, well Equinox
should have just not like since the game found and
done what they wanted.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
But that's a fair that's a huge number because like
if this funds, you got to come through, right, I mean.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
Yeah, you gotta come through, right.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
So the whole thing where it was like, well, we
don't know if we're going to continue if we don't
hit two point five million, like that's just that's that.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Was kind of weird that they said they were funded
and then they said they were going to send stuff
back if it didn't hit the two five, which was weird.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
Right, that's well, no, that's not weird, that's fucking extortion, Dexter.

Speaker 5 (07:33):
Yeah, I was. I was hoping we could skip over
this era.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
But I know we forgot that.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
I oh, like I've forgotten.

Speaker 5 (07:45):
I forgot that. You haven't already gone through it like
the rest of us.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Gone through what Well, yeah, I haven't gone I haven't
like I haven't gone through the phases of morning, if
that's what you're saying.

Speaker 5 (07:54):
Yeah, because we we we had a week off, so
you're like a week a week.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
Behind, a little behind, right, right, So I had to
focus because some of us actually played in key Forge Worlds, right.

Speaker 5 (08:07):
Yeah, So okay, Wookie, this is an altered podcast.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Yeah, I didn't make talk.

Speaker 5 (08:18):
Are you doing over there?

Speaker 2 (08:20):
Not in Worlds but at key Forge? Then zip it
the arkon open.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
We can we can talk about what happened last year,
or you could do Okay, thank you.

Speaker 5 (08:30):
Go go listen to Arcons corner. Anyways, I was in
the middle of giving you credit, Wookie insane. Actually, you
know what, you're right. I did try to just skip
ahead for the episode because a lot of us are
already at the point for the episode that I have written.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
You.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
That was it. I was just I was I was
extraordin listen we had looking on right, and I kind
of at least I thought I made it. I thought
I made it extremely extremely important that a big thing
with this is going to be transparency.

Speaker 5 (09:11):
And then they went too transparent and it made people mad.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
But then they weren't. It was like, what the fuck? Yeah,
it was just so.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (09:23):
As part of me saying, okay, you know what, you're right, Wookie,
I'll also give you the like I mean, I don't
want to say the insider play by play, but Wookie's
gonna be like, yeah, it fucking is so Monday Monday happened, right,
Everyone agrees the message put out on Monday was not good.

(09:46):
So it was kind of like, I honestly don't know
like who wrote it, who approved it, but I know
some people were out of office and it was just
kind of yet it out. Obviously it extremely backfired, so
they reworked, you know, their transparency or explanation of things,

(10:14):
and re released it after they had gotten some feedback,
and everyone who probably should have been involved initially was
involved in the like actual portrayal. Of course, the damage
was already done blah blah blah. And on one hand,

(10:37):
I can agree that the way they portrayed it on
Bloody Monday, if you want to call it, that was bad.
I also understand why they had this number and why
they they didn't want to continue if it was too
far off. I kind of see the boat they were

(11:00):
in where they were like, we don't want to deliver
you seeds and then immediately shut down and be like, Okay,
that's it, We're all done. Some people were totally fine
with that, to be honest. They're like, I would rather
just have the set and then if that's that, that's that.
But since you know, nothing's printed blah blah blah, they

(11:20):
thought it would be better to refund everyone and be
like we're not going to take your money and we're
not going to produce seeds. We're just gonna have to
shut down. So the second update, I think or trade
that a little better.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
But yeah, So question two, are they going to need
two point five million every single game? Found?

Speaker 4 (11:47):
Ye?

Speaker 2 (11:48):
Right now, that's I know the plan. They did say
they're working on rearranging budgeting stuff since they didn't quite
get two point five, So maybe we're looking at like
two million for the next camp, but they do say
in a previous one that they would need two point
five for each Game Found continuing now. Of course, if

(12:08):
they find ways to move around the budget and make
it easier, it can very easily be less than that.
But we don't know for sure yet.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
I don't know it's really I don't know if that's
a reasonable number.

Speaker 5 (12:20):
And I think it actually is.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
Okay, you want to hear why you're gonna tell me?

Speaker 5 (12:27):
So the episode that I had originally written was about
the news as of today, and it includes the final
campaign results. Yes, looking at the final campaign results and
knowing how rocky this last month has been, with you know,
switching distribution, which some you know stories understood, some hated doing,

(12:51):
the first Game Found, which you know, had a lot
of confusion because people don't read, and maybe certain things
weren't as they could have be could have been. With
all of that, and with the you know, whole bloody
Monday and everything, they did one point four million from retailers,

(13:13):
from just retailers. Yeah, so the game Fountain ended quite
a good bit. Yeah, The Game Found ended at eight
hundred and ninety six, nine hundred and sixty seven. And
because of all of that, like instability and questioning and
blah blah blah, there were people who commented after and

(13:35):
they were like, wait, I didn't put in my order,
can I do it now? I changed my mind and
it's like that's not how it worked. So no, So
there's this really really weird like my brain honestly doesn't
understand it. But like the set doesn't get printed or

(13:56):
funded if it doesn't hit a goal, so then people
don't back it because they don't want to back a
game that's not going to hit the goal. Then if
you don't back it, it's not going to hit the goal.
So then when it hits the goal, they actually still
want to play the game. But they didn't want to
back it because they were worried it didn't make it.
But if they would have backed it, then it would
have made it.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (14:16):
I think a small number. I think that's a small.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
People.

Speaker 3 (14:23):
Yeah, usually the lower louder people.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
Yeah yeah, but I'm just aggressive ones like me.

Speaker 4 (14:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (14:30):
If if you know, they continue strong, they learn from
this game found they get some of the LGS stuff
ironed out. I think it is highly possible to do this,
you know with the next one, will it for like

(14:53):
many years to come? Know, if key Fords just told
us anything, it'll kind of you know, start to slow
down down a little bit.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
But I think or there's a difference. There is a
difference between key Forge and.

Speaker 5 (15:10):
Well, there's a lot of differences.

Speaker 4 (15:11):
Yeah, there's a lot of.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
Difference beyond the card game. The two companies have two
extraordinarily different philosophies on how to do things right.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
Yes, one is very bare bones. One wants to do
all the things they can, so they're going to have
much higher operating costs. Wow, that is one of the
very big things.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
That is. Also one actually markets their game and tries
to get it out in front of people, yes, and
the other does not.

Speaker 5 (15:42):
We actually actually had this conversation a lot over the
last week because there are parallels between key Forge and
Altered and key Forge does this game found set up
for every new set as well. And you know, we
were discussing that and every person that I said this
to agreed. They were like, oh, shoot, that's right. He

(16:05):
Forged not only has like their own printing, they do
it in house. Yes, you're you're right. They don't do anything.
They don't have OPI, they don't do consistent like tournaments, they.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
Don't mark like max ten a year and half of those.
They kind of just let people do their own things.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
Ten large ones. There's no consistent op in stores right,
which again we talked about this year again for the
empteenth time with Christian Peterson, and for the time with
Christian Peterson, we talked about, hey, why don't you market?

Speaker 2 (16:46):
You know, it's fifty marketing works and fifty percent doesn't.
And I don't know what part works.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
I don't know any part I was and I was like,
I was like, how much works? If we do zero,
is it still zero?

Speaker 5 (17:02):
Yeah? Yes, Well, and they they don't do Creator Kids
as far as underware, nope.

Speaker 4 (17:10):
So yeah.

Speaker 5 (17:11):
There there is a lot of overhead in Altered, which
is honestly, it's it's very annoying sometimes to see the
kind of things people say, like, oh, why didn't Altered market,
Why didn't they blast this from the rooftops. I'm like, guys,
just because they are compared to the well, just because

(17:33):
you didn't witness it with your own eyes.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
Yeah, it was still happening exactly.

Speaker 5 (17:38):
I received so many ads for the game found and
some people are like, I only have a WhatsApp account
and log into Discord once in a blue moon, I
didn't see anything.

Speaker 2 (17:49):
That's why you aren't getting any ads for it.

Speaker 5 (17:52):
Yeah, so yeah, I don't want to.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
That doesn't work right.

Speaker 5 (17:59):
I can tell you that Altered has the Musubi, which
works on a lot of things behind the scenes, does
paid paid partnerships like with Moguai, does content creator partnerships,
like some of the cause players at conventions, does conventions

(18:22):
for specifically Altered, uh, and like Instagram, Twitter, they're not
as good at Blue Sky anymore, but they've post here
and there. YouTube. Could do more on YouTube, but it
is there, Like it's all there, guys. You just don't
like interact with it.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
See, But the people that aren't being interacted with are
the people that need to be interacted with.

Speaker 5 (18:52):
Well, they've got open their eyes.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
Well, but the problem is it's not hitting it's not
opening their eyes, it's not hitting their feed right.

Speaker 5 (19:01):
That's that in my opinion, that's their fault.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
That's Altered's fault. Are the people following Altered's fault? The
people the people well, I would I would beg to
differ with you because unless you're looking.

Speaker 2 (19:16):
At guarantee that ads are getting to all of your audience, sure,
how are you? How are you making sure it's getting everywhere?

Speaker 1 (19:24):
You can't? Right, Like, there's no.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
We're most of the ads going through though I know
Facebook like had a bunch of it, But what other
places that they're really through the ads too?

Speaker 5 (19:37):
Yeah, So here you go digital advertiser insight. If you
didn't know, I have experience. So Facebook and Instagram are
owned by the same company, which is meta blah blah blah.
If you do a campaign on one, you get ads
on both, and honestly, it is by far are the

(20:01):
best place to advertise for the lowest amount of money.
I think I did see some banner ads here and
there on like YouTube and other sites. But if I
were consulting a company that didn't have millions in budget,
I would tell them just do meta campaigns because like

(20:25):
Twitter is garbage. I don't know very much about Reddit
to be honest, and like everything else, is expensive for
low return unless you set up like a retargeting campaign
with you know, a very specific platform.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
That's funny guy trying.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
Yeah, yeah, I remember where I saw alter for the
first time.

Speaker 5 (20:52):
Yeah. So when I say that it's the people's fault,
I'm saying, like, you can't be surprised you didn't hear
about it if you're like the person who says, oh,
I don't have any social media's and I want to
go to this one place, like.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
All right, I'll save you on that one. Yeah, I'll
save you on that one. That one I'll give to you.
If you're if you're just completely not on the internet
most of the time, then okay, fine, yeah you're not
going to hear anything because that's the world now lives
on the internet. But if you are on the internet
and you didn't see jack shit, well you know that's

(21:28):
now we've got.

Speaker 5 (21:32):
You also have people like Dexter who have uh you know,
is on a altered podcast and said, wait, LGS orders
were due on this day.

Speaker 2 (21:43):
I thought it was okay, I just had the wrong day.
I just had the wrong day.

Speaker 4 (21:48):
And Prince of the Bowl is still there.

Speaker 5 (21:51):
All right, I'm going to ask you a damning question
right now.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
Oh no, what are we doing?

Speaker 5 (21:56):
You do you have to be a corner entire muted?

Speaker 2 (22:02):
No, I do not.

Speaker 5 (22:04):
You get alerts for at mentions? Yes, so if I
tag at digital you get an alert for it.

Speaker 2 (22:12):
Yes, I do. Then how did you not know? I
did know? I just forgot Okay, I thought it was
a different day.

Speaker 5 (22:24):
So, I mean, you can only do so much. And
like people, how I try to answer that question is like, Okay,
where do you spend the most time? And they'll be like, oh,
I'm here, and I'm like, I hate to tell you,
but it was all over there. Maybe you just need to,
you know, make sure you're all better the account or something.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
I mean, I saw it on Facebook. I saw it
all over Facebook, all over Twitter or x whatever it
is now.

Speaker 5 (22:54):
Yeah, And to be honest, outside of all of that, like,
as a person who has had to use social media
for a long time for various reasons, I I fully
believe that like social media apps are just dead and
garbage and terrible for growth now, but they're also necessary.

(23:16):
So it's really hard. In in my opinion, the best
social media like this day and age is YouTube. But
back in the day, it felt like you could get
attention on Twitter and Instagram, but they've just like murdered
it so much.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
Gotta have gotta have big titties to get noticed.

Speaker 4 (23:34):
Done there.

Speaker 1 (23:36):
Yeah, yeah, So there's.

Speaker 5 (23:45):
Uh, there's uh, there's.

Speaker 2 (23:46):
I don't think so gus, I don't I don't think
they care about TikTok. Yeah, TikTok ads gonna see what
on TikTok, and that's probably gonna be expensive compared to
some other places.

Speaker 5 (23:59):
I I do not know the like average CPMs and
stuff for.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
TikTok forever since I've used TikTok.

Speaker 5 (24:07):
So yeah, TikTok, though, I can tell you they do
post on TikTok. So yeah, I can go follow the account.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
I watched TikTok every day, multiple times a day.

Speaker 5 (24:24):
Yeah, you guys, so, I'm not sure I read the sais.

Speaker 2 (24:32):
I prefer YouTube or listening to podcasts or music.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
You listen to podcasts while you poop? Sure, that's odd.
I don't think I've ever listened to a podcast while
it's always TikTok.

Speaker 4 (24:50):
Yeah, there's not wrong.

Speaker 2 (24:51):
I'm playing b G.

Speaker 1 (24:54):
That's dedication, right there, guy trying, that's dedication. I like it,
all right, I mean, now.

Speaker 4 (24:59):
Number don't go up themselves true? True? Oh yeah.

Speaker 5 (25:04):
Also I want to get altered in the top. Let's
let's shoot for top sixty of BGA this month.

Speaker 1 (25:14):
Which is crazy to think how like how altered is so?
I mean you got to remember BG being in the
top one hundred of BGA. It's like it's kind of
a big deal, right yeah, And it's.

Speaker 5 (25:27):
A top one hundred dexter.

Speaker 1 (25:30):
Nice and yet like I don't know, I just I
still think two point five millions a lot, and that
is a little concerning for me. Again, I hope they're
more well, obviously I don't have a choice but to
be more transparent next time around, you know, I don't know, Yeah,
maybe maybe now that's less expensive artists, I don't know.

(25:53):
I don't I don't know where to make the cuts, right,
Like that's not my because I got to the artism
is part of the big price to this game.

Speaker 4 (26:02):
Like the that you like a lot the are.

Speaker 3 (26:08):
It's a good conversation to have, though I am curious
how much do they next to do artists charge for
the altered art?

Speaker 4 (26:16):
A lot?

Speaker 1 (26:16):
It's a lot next sets nothing picture, nothing but pictures
of Wookie.

Speaker 5 (26:24):
So I don't think art will be a place that
there will be cuts, but there will be less alternate
arts because that's more expensive. But also there will be
more alternate arts because they have already commissioned. The art
for like seeds.

Speaker 1 (26:39):
And well Seeds is done, but I'm saying going forward,
obviously they're gonna if two point five million is their goal, right,
And they had to extend it a week because at
the at the week mark we were coming up, but
they were like six hundred thousand, I think just just
a little over six hundred k.

Speaker 5 (26:55):
The extension a week is like kind of a it's
true but also a mischaracterization. At the same time, they.

Speaker 2 (27:06):
Just included the pledge manager exactly. Yes, stuff.

Speaker 4 (27:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (27:11):
Yeah, some people were saying they should do what key
Forge did with the the clock extender. Oh yeah, yeah,
that was honestly, for those people that missed out, it
probably would have been a good thing called maybe your
question mark.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
Yeah, come on, Wookie, you're on the key Forge podcast.
They extended the time by like three hours. Oh yeah answers.

Speaker 1 (27:37):
Yeah, that was one time they didn't do that. They
don't do that normally.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
Yeah, it was only for the last one.

Speaker 5 (27:43):
Yeah, it's just a feature where if like someone backs in,
like the last ten minutes or a certain amount.

Speaker 2 (27:48):
Or something extended.

Speaker 5 (27:50):
Yeah, it kicks it an hour or whatever.

Speaker 1 (27:53):
The first time they've ever done that they didn't do
that in the past.

Speaker 5 (27:57):
Yeah, I think it is a fair feature to can
consider for the next game found. Hopefully it's not like
when a really popular streamer does an uncapped subbathon and
it just extends to the campaign by forty six days.
But you know, uh yeah, the you know where the
cut is going to be, uh, primarily the focus in

(28:28):
the United States.

Speaker 4 (28:29):
So that is one that is one figure.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
That was yeah, super.

Speaker 1 (28:36):
The problem is that's what they need to focus.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
I understands.

Speaker 1 (28:43):
Sit down, Dexter. It's a yes and no no, right.
I understand from a business standpoint saying, hey, we're not
going to focus as much on the US because, let's
be honest, the US is not a place where it
has really flourished, right, I mean, Magic's King, right, I

(29:05):
Mean what's weird is last time, at this time, we
saw Altered being played at the Game Center while we
were while me and Dexter were there. This year, we
didn't see any It's all about the new hotness rift Bound.

Speaker 4 (29:20):
Yep.

Speaker 5 (29:20):
Which I think the problem with the United States is
since they are a French company and just you know,
the United States in general is I this is this
is just stipulation. I don't know this for sure, but
I would guess that it costs a lot more and

(29:44):
goes a lot less further in the United States, like
the amount of money they spent.

Speaker 1 (29:50):
Do they need they need a United States production partner?
I might know a guy.

Speaker 5 (29:56):
No, I don't think so.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
No, they should already. They don't want to work with
old asthma day. I don't know.

Speaker 5 (30:06):
Maybe maybe maybe, But like I know that they did
spend a lot of money trying to help the United
States and Canada market lat time. I don't know as
much as about because I'm not as close to it,
and I don't think it paid off as much as

(30:27):
they spent. Just like, for example, anytime they want to
do a convention, if they have, if they send over
Loki or someone like his trip alone you know is a.

Speaker 1 (30:41):
Couple grand, it's just as good.

Speaker 5 (30:45):
I mean, yes, fair uh. And then that doesn't even
include like booth prices and YadA YadA.

Speaker 1 (30:55):
Just send over call and a guy trying and blue
and we're all right, you put on some damn parents.

Speaker 5 (31:07):
I think the other thing is is I honestly think
I mean, and this could be a misconception. I think
the US stores burned Equinox a lot more than any
other stores.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
How would how how so like like said they were
going to order and then didn't just.

Speaker 5 (31:26):
Like dropping it entirely, And I mean, how much of
that can you blame?

Speaker 1 (31:31):
I mean, the US stores are fickle bitches, right like,
they just like.

Speaker 2 (31:37):
If they're not getting good profits, if they're not selling
stuff off the shell, they're going to drop it.

Speaker 1 (31:43):
Magic is king here, man, And if you're shit, ain't moving,
Magic's got another seventeen sets they need to sell you.
So yep, you know it's It's one of those things.
Magic right now is is white hot.

Speaker 4 (31:55):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
One piece is kind of fallen off. I have seen
I don't know if that's true all over the place.
This is just kind of near me. One Piece is
kind of fallen off. But Magic is still super hot,
Pokemon is still super hot, you get you know, the
Big Three as I call them, are still you know,
they're doing their thing. And it's just with the amount

(32:16):
of product Magic produces, which is utterly ridiculous. If I
if I were a Magic player, I'd be pissed.

Speaker 5 (32:24):
But yeah, and a lot of them are actually but yeah,
this is uh stuff to back up exactly what you're saying.
So I think I've I've talked about it a couple
of times. I usually play in Dallas at common Ground Games.

Speaker 1 (32:47):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (32:47):
They decided after the message on Bloody Monday to revert
and not preorder the next set and just fund the
preorder they had, So we still have organized play as
I would assume the rest of this year, and then

(33:09):
they'll probably just cut it. But it's a store in Dallas.
It's a very good store, and they are usually very
popular on you know, each night for events, and I
think tonight is Avatar for Magic maybe, and so it's

(33:30):
taking all of the space in the store. So since
Altered didn't fire last night, we were one person short.
I was like, Okay, I'm gonna I'm gonna pivot and
I'm gonna do Riftbound on Friday. But it was sold
out and I found out it's because they had to
cut Riftbound down to sixteen players because Magic is taking

(33:54):
up the whole store, and they canceled like all other
like stuff entirely, like Star Wars Unlimited stuff like that.
So it's like, yeah, Magic is just eating everything.

Speaker 1 (34:06):
Still you're not, Yes, Magic is just it's it's the
fucking machine. That's just as much as magic players are
again such fickle bitches, right because magic's dying every seventeen
seconds in magic players world, right, every time they don't
do something that one magic player doesn't like, the game's

(34:28):
dad and it's over. But it's just it's it's it's
a juggernaut that I just it's it. You got to
imagine at some point there's going to be fatigue, but
it's not today. Yeah, when that is, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (34:48):
Yeah, to be clear, when I'm saying that, I think
there will be less of a focus on like an
a it. I think it really is just those things,
like there won't be a as much of a presence
at conventions unless they find out another good partnership, and
they won't be like actively pumping extra money into the

(35:10):
United States to try to like grow it here, which
I think is.

Speaker 1 (35:17):
A good speaker and I'm I'm I'm a great hype man.
If I definitely won't just be hitting on uh Lura.

Speaker 5 (35:30):
Yep, I'm glad you butchered the name, so no one
knows what you're saying. But if you if this this
is my this is my honest suggestion, I I know
people really want to play in person. And if that
is the type of person, oh ship am I gun,
no you're here. Okay, my computer blacked out for a second.

(35:54):
If you are the type of person that really, first
and foremost only wants to play in person, I think
one thing that goes a long way is coordination, Like
just tell people like you want to.

Speaker 1 (36:07):
Play too, because remember I had brought up like clubs
and communities being able to get a hold of things, right, yeah,
because it's because it's the further you get from magic, right,
the further that the game store cares about you. It's
just the way, as much as it pisses everybody off,

(36:27):
it's just the short and skinny right, there's no way
around it. I mean that might be a thing that
they have to go to to, you know, keep op
going in the States here.

Speaker 5 (36:40):
Yeah, and uh yeah, I think there's just a lot
of people that like are not vocal about wanting to play.
Like they'll show up and if it's playing, they'll play.
But sometimes it takes literally like just one or two
extra people to say like, hey, I want to play
this week or whatever at this store, were there to

(37:02):
be a playgroup.

Speaker 2 (37:04):
Yes, I know, there just needs to be at least four,
and I'll show up for locals. But recently we haven't
even been hitting those numbers, so I'm just like, Okay,
I won't show up.

Speaker 5 (37:15):
That you wanted, Dexter.

Speaker 2 (37:16):
Yes, I know, I should be more vocal and be like, hey,
I want to show up.

Speaker 1 (37:21):
I'll be there, like who's showing up? Let's do this? Yes,
I mean ship we even for even for key Forge,
and we have a local well, we have a local
private chat right where we're like, hey, who's I mean,
it doesn't matter if there's two or three of us, right,
It's about consistency when it comes down to locals, right, Yeah,

(37:45):
and what even if there's just two of you, fucking go,
who cares if the ship fires? Play some jam some games.
That's that's the biggest. That's the biggest thing I could
tell you is key Forge was legitimately me Jr. And
Dan at one point in time, and through just going
every week we brought you know, all of a sudden
we had mister Perfect join in, and then we had

(38:08):
then we had uh Pete join in. You know, you
just you keep gaining people because you're continuously there, right,
And it's you know, and hey, stores, I just want
to finish this thought real quick. Hey, don't be a
space monster, right, buy a soda, buy a deck, buy

(38:32):
something from your local lgs. Don't just take up their
space and then be like, well we're here, Like, give
your lgs a reason to keep you around. Right. Legitimately,
we play Sealed every single week, which means anywhere from
six to ten people are going to buy a deck
at fifteen dollars a plot. Plus we're going to probably

(38:53):
buy some sleeves, maybe we buy some soda, you know,
we buy stuff right to make sure. And then at our.

Speaker 2 (38:59):
Store, whenever we run little tournaments, we all put in
five dollars for store credit, and then whoever wins gets
the store credit in second place gets a refund of
their store credit or whatever. Just a way to get
the store a few more bucks.

Speaker 1 (39:14):
But just get get some a little bit, right, and
and not only that, make sure that they aren't stuck
with product. Mm hmmm, right, that's that's the biggest killers.
Once that ship hits the bargain bend, your game's done. Yeah, yep,
don't let it hit the bar.

Speaker 5 (39:34):
Good uh good points. Indeed, uh. Some stores are very
strict about the you know, needing for people to fire.
But if it's like not a far drive for you,
it is a very good point to just be like,
if there's two of us, let's just go play and
you know, buy a couple packs or whatever and express
our interest to the store.

Speaker 4 (39:54):
Ye.

Speaker 1 (39:55):
And maybe that's the thay you play sealed and you
both buy six packs and you fucking just jam out
of your sealed games. Maybe have secondary account that's fake
that e losses.

Speaker 4 (40:11):
Just play conquest at that point. There you go. I mean,
you got a six man tournament at that point.

Speaker 5 (40:21):
That's funny. Jump just jump seats.

Speaker 4 (40:23):
So exactly.

Speaker 2 (40:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (40:27):
And one thing that I always suggest to people is
if you're not already in your regional discord, find it
and join it so that you can like coordinate and
be you.

Speaker 1 (40:38):
Know, hey, here's a way to coordinate and be vocal.
Does Wisconsin have a original discord?

Speaker 5 (40:46):
Let me tell you.

Speaker 1 (40:48):
You find that out for me. I don't think I
went and looked for Sconson facebook page and that don't exist. Neither.
It doesn't exist SCons on Facebook. Oh you know, I
didn't search Reddit. I didn't do Reddit. I'm not a
big credit redditor.

Speaker 5 (41:08):
I do not see one at first glance of Wisconsin,
but sometimes they are like combined. So like uh, I
think Utah, Idaho is all one server.

Speaker 1 (41:24):
Could like Madison too, right, like Madison has their own
or it could be Milwaukee.

Speaker 5 (41:32):
There's there's the DMV server, which is you know DC Maryland, Virginia.
Send a guy trying a bunch of hateful messages if
you want to know more about that server. So yeah,
if there's not a regional server, it is a very
big undertaking to start one. But if you are someone

(41:56):
who likes running a discord, you could always look about
doing that. It's how we coordinate everything in Texas.

Speaker 1 (42:03):
What if you're somebody who doesn't like coordinating a discord
but your community needs.

Speaker 2 (42:08):
More, then you won't be vocal and you'll never get
to play locals.

Speaker 5 (42:13):
Hire me and I will create one for you, but
you have to pay me.

Speaker 1 (42:16):
I'll hire you the total.

Speaker 2 (42:21):
It's gonna have.

Speaker 5 (42:22):
I the second the second part of what I'm gonna say.
The physical only players are not going to like, but
it is a reality play more online. If you get
used to it, it is amazing. And I used to

(42:43):
be a turn based game hater I was like, why
would I ever want to play a game over like
three days? But now I have like eight going all
the time, and it's great. There are even turn based tournaments.
There's a there's a tournament every day.

Speaker 1 (42:59):
I love. Yeah. I tried to get you to play
the other like I'll do a turn base that. I'm like,
the while such a short game, why would we do
turn based?

Speaker 5 (43:11):
Like it's great, it's great telling you.

Speaker 1 (43:15):
I guess I can't knock it because I already am
not an online player, Like, let's do online turn Base.
I'm like, hey, maybe I should just slam my Dick
with a hammer, and then I like that neither.

Speaker 5 (43:28):
Yeah, this this episode is turning into like the real
the Real Ship episode or whatever, but so uh, we
will probably talk about it more in another episode. But
a wall is shutting down.

Speaker 4 (43:42):
So the.

Speaker 5 (43:44):
Monday and Wednesday tournaments and like everyone's like, oh my god,
we should create, you know, a new tournament on Wednesday
and Monday, and we should create all these new tournaments
and make sure people support them and blah blah blah.

Speaker 2 (43:55):
And I'm like, we already have so many tournaments that
already exist. Let's let people play in the ones that
are already there instead of trying to spread things more thin.

Speaker 5 (44:06):
Yes, So I told them, I was like, I'm gonna
be honest, there is not the amount of players and
support to really justify replacing the Wednesday tournament, which is
the like North American time zone is what we call it,
And I mean there's ACE every Tuesday and we get

(44:26):
like just barely over twenty players.

Speaker 2 (44:28):
Yeah, twenty people.

Speaker 5 (44:30):
Why would I want to go and like dive right
back into another tournament if there's not enough players. So
what I told everyone is I was like, how about
if you guys get ACE on Tuesdays to start filling up.
I do think replacing the Monday tournament is good because
that usually always hits CAP and I think people want

(44:53):
a tournament at that time on Monday. Well, good, we'll
do that. Well, if you want more things and you
want you know, them to be around, you have to
support them. So people in the United States, if they
really want the game to continue and to grow, you

(45:16):
you just have to like support the online tournaments and
stuff that are already there because the people that are
making those for that time zone are doing it. Because
people keep saying that they need to happen.

Speaker 2 (45:32):
But then and then they are.

Speaker 5 (45:34):
People don't show up. Yeah, so more people play online,
coordinate online, you know, join the tournaments. I'm gonna get
better about making sure all of the online tournaments are
on Altered Corner dot com as well. And then if
the North American like time zone tournaments start filling up,

(45:57):
then maybe we'll do another Wednesday want Yah?

Speaker 2 (46:03):
All right, yep, sounds good. I agree with all the
things you just said.

Speaker 1 (46:10):
We did go into the ship show on this show,
we were already.

Speaker 2 (46:15):
Were we gonna get a little bit back on track
and talk a little bit of the things we originally
planned this. Let's let's go for the game timeline stuff.

Speaker 1 (46:23):
Nope, not at all.

Speaker 5 (46:27):
Well, I mean this is this is a whole episode
in itself. Do you want me to speed run it
for you?

Speaker 1 (46:32):
No, I That's exactly what I was trying to say,
And Dexter's just set it forth. So Dexter, maybe you
should run the show. Maybe that's no, I don't want that,
I'm sure. Yeah, all right, cool, all right, yes, so
let's go through a little bit of the campaign timeline. Dexter,

(46:52):
this should be old hat to you, my man. You've
done this before, right, a couple of times, you know
how to use your pledge manager.

Speaker 2 (47:02):
Yeah, yeah, that's already over but yeah.

Speaker 1 (47:05):
I know, but I'm just.

Speaker 5 (47:08):
If you if you click on the link for the
thank you message, it has the actual like pledge manager
and how it's going to work for this campaign. If
you want to go over that, or if you want
me to go over it for you real quick.

Speaker 1 (47:21):
Yeah, go over the timeline here what we got real quick?

Speaker 4 (47:26):
All right?

Speaker 5 (47:27):
So since they did, you know, keep the normal campaign longer,
ate up the pledge manager. So what the the pledge
manager in quotes will be now is for the next
two weeks they're going to review all the orders and
process back or payments. Some people took that as it

(47:49):
was going to take two weeks for them to be charged,
but they were charged today. That just means there will
be cases where people's cards are declined, some banks like
take longer. Some people might cancel blah blah blah.

Speaker 1 (48:02):
They used to mine is guilty of that, or they're like,
what's this extraordinarily large charge and they just like kind
of they'll be in touch with you, let's put it
that way.

Speaker 4 (48:14):
Yep.

Speaker 5 (48:15):
So it just gives enough of a window to allow
all that to happen. But your card was probably charged
today for either your first stretch pay installment or the
full amount, depending on what you did.

Speaker 2 (48:25):
So after that saw anything, Yeah.

Speaker 5 (48:29):
They will open the Pledge Manager, which is just going
to be you're able to provide your address and pay
details for shipping fees, YadA YadA, and that will open
December first and close December eighth. And once the Pledge
Manager details are secured, they will lock down the final

(48:50):
print run numbers and move fully into the logistics phase
of printing, shipping to regionable regional hubs, and then final
delivery for the set will be in February m.

Speaker 1 (49:04):
So then the big question is when does the next
game found start?

Speaker 5 (49:09):
Yeah, that is an interesting question.

Speaker 2 (49:11):
A few months away.

Speaker 5 (49:13):
Yeah, I think you could do like some kind of
manuary with surgery to find out, but I did not
care enough to do it. What is really interesting though,
is everyone is all like, oh, you know, altered is
only fine for this next set or whatever, but now
we have to worry about the next This next.

Speaker 2 (49:34):
Set still quite a few months away.

Speaker 5 (49:36):
Yeah, that takes us seven months out, so still a
good amount of time with just.

Speaker 1 (49:41):
This, but not the game.

Speaker 5 (49:46):
Right confused, But yeah, I'm just saying, like we're in
November now, we have Skybound Odyssey, which we're still in
that season. Sky Bound Odyssey season will end in February,
where we will get Seeds, and then we'll have seeds
for four months. So even if hypothetically there's no set

(50:08):
after seeds, we still have like seven day seven more
Altered no matter what, at.

Speaker 2 (50:14):
Least because then there's the whole season with seeds too.

Speaker 1 (50:19):
Yes, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (50:23):
Altered will be around for a while. We're good. We
don't need to worry right now.

Speaker 4 (50:29):
We can.

Speaker 2 (50:30):
We can start worrying again once the next game found starts.

Speaker 1 (50:34):
I'm worried right now. But that's me.

Speaker 5 (50:37):
Yeah, uh do we I mean, I guess we talked
a lot about like supporting and what uh you can do.
And it's not just me like coming and being like
you need to support the things we do. It's like
people were legitimately, you know, trying to find things and

(50:58):
asking like how they could help and blah blah blah.
It's it's been really nice to see like the initiative
of people wanting to support Altered content and wanting more
and seeking it out, like I saw a lot of
people joining Discord to find it, asking about it in Discord.
So if that, if that keeps up, just in general,

(51:20):
it'll go a long way for the game. So if
you like a video, or you like this podcast or something,
leave a comment, you know, ask a question. All of
that kind of stuff helps.

Speaker 1 (51:34):
Nobody likes.

Speaker 5 (51:37):
Nobody, they like, they like what I have to say.

Speaker 1 (51:40):
So they told me, yeah, you.

Speaker 2 (51:44):
Have the best information. We're all just kind of here.
I'm just super invested.

Speaker 1 (51:49):
I'm just here. I'm here, man, I'm just I'm.

Speaker 2 (51:52):
I'm you're leading the show.

Speaker 1 (51:56):
But you know, I finally had something to bitch about,
like it was a good week. Like here you go.

Speaker 5 (52:06):
You you have a comment for you guys. I like
Rookie Dexter and Felix. I wish those three had a
podcast together. Maybe you guys should think about making one.
I think, Felix, I think you should do a podcast
where you teach these two capra.

Speaker 4 (52:28):
I didn't do that at school. Every once in a while.

Speaker 1 (52:30):
Teach me like the little yep, the little teacher. Yeah
that little little squirrel sounds like rodents. I don't know
what they are.

Speaker 4 (52:44):
Coffee brows.

Speaker 5 (52:44):
Yeah, yeah, So The only other thing that I think
we didn't really touch on that I had in the
original notes was the the new like push on Board
Game Geek. You can I think it's been out there
a while, but it hasn't really been like used, and

(53:10):
a lot of people started using it. So if you
like the website Board Game Geek, you can go ahead
and do whatever you do on the website with altered
There's been like new forums created, images, added videos, people
are leaving reviews of each set, things like that, and
it had a lot of really good success this last week, honestly, so.

Speaker 1 (53:37):
I'm not Hotelly.

Speaker 5 (53:41):
Been waiting for the Lawyer for like three episodes.

Speaker 2 (53:45):
I can read it for you, Wookie.

Speaker 1 (53:48):
Oh shit, that's fucking more, all right, fine, read.

Speaker 2 (53:51):
It, yay, Okay, let's do this. Because of her artificial nature,
she served as a model for the faction's first autumn
Automata prototypes. Frankenstein leads me back to the furthest Reacher's
reaches of the Athenore, the research and development area of
the foundry. He opens a door and turns on the

(54:13):
workshop lights, revealing a slender shape with an ivory sheen.
She looks like a porcelain doll with skin riveted with
gold and blue interlacing. I approach the two idoloons. Frankenstein
was created with my construct, but the same can't be
said for the one he had. He has called Copelia.
She looks at me with her enamel eyes while I

(54:33):
walk around her, my can, my cane clacking on the
dusty floor. How does she manage to stay alive? As
if she had anticipated my question? She opens a compartment
on her chest. Inside beats an expertly crafted mechanical heart
that gives off a smell of mana. Her heart contains keylon.
That is how she can stay anchored in reality. I

(54:55):
turned to Frankenstein and away from the pulsing device. By
using this technie, we could stabilize idolons in the world
for longer, like the Muna managed to do. I shake
my head, speechless at all the possibilities this seems to
open up. But this only works because Coppelia is a
mechanized creature. Other idolons couldn't accommodate this technology. Naturally, I

(55:18):
size rationality abruptly intrudes on my fascination. Coppelia closes her
compartment and smiles at me. The workshops, lights glinting on
her ceramic skin. Though she moves jerkily and clicks like
a puppet, she has a certain grace, almost like a ballerina.
In different circumstances. I might even have allowed myself a
little danced with her, but my legs prevent that kind

(55:41):
of thing. And then we have the inspiration is Coppelli
is a ballet dancer from a three act ballet of
the same name by Arthur Saint Leone based on E. T. A.
Hoffman's short story called The Sandman. Never heard of that play,
but looks like there's lots of lore stuff going together here.

(56:03):
Coppelli is a mechanical doll that Frans, the main protagonist,
falls in love with to win him back his fiance
Swanhilda dresses up as Coppelia and makes it appear as
if the doll has come to life. In the original story,
she is called Olympia and she has brought to life
through alchemy, and the narrator is traced from three hundred
and ninety one after the cataclysm A.

Speaker 5 (56:24):
So you want to know something really interesting about this? Yeah,
I was having a debate in the main server with Shoot,
what's their name wild Card or whatever. They're super active
super Axiom fanboy, and I don't think they had actually

(56:46):
like read the lore because I was having a debate
about how Frankenstein's monster is in the game already and
it's Capellia.

Speaker 2 (56:57):
Yeah, Coppellia is Frankenstein's monster exactly.

Speaker 5 (57:00):
I'm glad that you've picked up on that because the
people were like not really getting what I was putting down.
Because if you listen to the first part of what
you just read, it says that the other construct is
not like really the same as Capellia. So if you
look at doctor Frankenstein's card, there is you know, like

(57:23):
another Automatron constructor or a construct of some sorts, but
it sounds like it's not really like living.

Speaker 2 (57:33):
And Copelia is is living because she is an idol
on too maybe.

Speaker 5 (57:39):
Yeah, and was created by Frankenstein. Now, further interesting thing
is there might be more than one Frankenstein's Monster in
the game. Yes, maybe we'll read it in the future.
I don't want to give you too many spoilers.

Speaker 4 (58:00):
But.

Speaker 5 (58:02):
If you go read the Lawyer for Doctor Frankenstein and
then read the Lawyer for Podu, that's what I'll.

Speaker 2 (58:11):
I mean maybe even the monster in the card hooked
that little automaton there could be made by Frankenstein. Yeah,
the axiom guy's got lots of little robots.

Speaker 5 (58:22):
Yeah yep, but yeah, read the Lawyer for Doctor Frankenstein
after this, and then read it for Podu, and then
you'll see and hear some very weird and interesting things.
And if you missed us reading the story of Little
match Girl, I read it and talked about it on

(58:43):
stream today and then one of my viewers sent an
animation for Little match Girl. If you want to have
your heart broken, do that. And for the people in
the live chat right now, I will link you the
animation and you can watch it.

Speaker 4 (59:04):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (59:04):
So yeah, now we all get to be sad together.

Speaker 3 (59:08):
Yeah, just wanted to show recently that they also made
reference in the Little match Girl.

Speaker 4 (59:14):
I forgot what show that was.

Speaker 5 (59:17):
Oh yeah, I don't know it is. It's a very
sad story.

Speaker 4 (59:21):
I've been Dragon Rajah.

Speaker 5 (59:25):
I could tell you what episode Little match Girl was
on if you really wanted, but it would take me
a second.

Speaker 3 (59:30):
Oh no, no, I'm thinking I was watched the show
on TV just recently and Little match Girl came up
as well. I think it was Dragon Roger love to remember.

Speaker 5 (59:40):
Yeah, well no, no Patreon questions. So if you guys
have Patreon.

Speaker 2 (59:48):
Some questions, give us some new topic ideas stuff to
talk about.

Speaker 3 (59:53):
Yeah, Rookie, who still there?

Speaker 1 (59:57):
May?

Speaker 3 (59:59):
I think my the gig starter for Imagination is shipping out.
I should be receiving mine pretty soon.

Speaker 1 (01:00:07):
Okay, nice Magi Nation. You have no idea, man, mamagin
Nation was the ship back of the day. Yeah, I
like imaginations.

Speaker 2 (01:00:21):
I've never heard of it.

Speaker 1 (01:00:23):
Never heard of Imagination.

Speaker 2 (01:00:26):
I'm sure I've heard of it, but I don't know
anything about it. I've never heard of those.

Speaker 4 (01:00:31):
One of those podcasts have to make.

Speaker 1 (01:00:33):
Yeah, somebody somebody did ask us to like go in
depth about like some of the old card games that
we used to play. I don't remember what that was,
but it was a while ago. Somebody said we should
do it. Maybe we'll do like a Patreon episode on
it because it was funny.

Speaker 5 (01:00:53):
Yeah, I've always thought it would be funny to do
a like April Fool's episode where we just do an
episode like it was, you know what we've been doing
the whole time. But it's something entirely different than Altered.
So if you're listening to this episode, maybe you'll get
the inside like uh actually happens? Yeah, exactly Before we

(01:01:18):
end here, we do have a live question from astro
Nebula too. I'm pretty sure we've talked about this a bunch. So, yes,
these podcasts get posted everywhere.

Speaker 1 (01:01:32):
Just stroll off.

Speaker 5 (01:01:36):
YouTube and everywhere you can listen to podcasts. So if
you want to go back pretty much every week, you can.
But what is your favorite card each of us? If
you can answer quickly?

Speaker 1 (01:01:51):
Is this your first time it.

Speaker 4 (01:01:55):
Is?

Speaker 5 (01:01:55):
Well, your your answer is easy, but I don't think
I'm as easy to pin down.

Speaker 2 (01:02:00):
Uh you still like right?

Speaker 1 (01:02:04):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (01:02:05):
Okay, But people that don't listen to every episode don't
know that.

Speaker 1 (01:02:10):
He's like ship. Remember you know that that's what's just
happened here, right, He's like ship.

Speaker 4 (01:02:19):
They know?

Speaker 5 (01:02:21):
Okay, this magpeng Hoarder his very obvious.

Speaker 2 (01:02:25):
Yes, Felix, Felix, are you still sticking with Gerrick?

Speaker 4 (01:02:31):
I hold like fourteen right now.

Speaker 2 (01:02:33):
Yeah, there's no card that I'm super attached to. I
would say WAU back in the old days. But you
know he's done for every time hold the place nice
in my heart, every time.

Speaker 1 (01:02:46):
That drink that he's not supposed to because he's underage.
She pours a little, you know, a little bit on
the ground for his homie. Yep, kisses his fingers, points
to the sky.

Speaker 2 (01:02:55):
You know. Yeah you eat guards too.

Speaker 5 (01:02:58):
And yeah the live live audience is yelling at us
now because they work their question wrong.

Speaker 1 (01:03:11):
I don't care still magpuh.

Speaker 5 (01:03:16):
I think mine is honestly maybe still tiny gin because
it shows how much of an assholes Maris and I
hate that bastard. So yeah, that one's good. Lower Wise,
I think, I don't know. The Lawyer is just so great.

Speaker 2 (01:03:34):
They really good card based on lore.

Speaker 5 (01:03:39):
Yeah, I honestly, I think one of the best laws
is for paper Herald, just because the concept I love.

Speaker 2 (01:03:48):
That was so cool. Yeah we did that. Yeah, yeah,
I have a question.

Speaker 5 (01:03:54):
How are you guys us? Good night?

Speaker 4 (01:04:00):
We're ready for it. This week PAX is coming.

Speaker 2 (01:04:04):
Yeah, PAX is coming up next week. Me, Coole and
Felix will all be there doing some gaming stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:04:10):
Yep, that's right.

Speaker 3 (01:04:11):
You can ask those questions next thing, we can answer them.

Speaker 2 (01:04:15):
I don't know if I can help. It's been it's
been a few years now, about.

Speaker 4 (01:04:19):
Years for me and I can't remember.

Speaker 2 (01:04:22):
But you actually teach me felix.

Speaker 4 (01:04:26):
Engineering for a while. So yeah, I guess, so yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:04:30):
I guess I can help you, all right.

Speaker 5 (01:04:37):
Guys, I kind of mentioned it, but I will. And
if you guys help me, remember start putting the online
tournaments that are consistent, because it's a lot easier when
it's consistent. On altered corner dot com, if you are
a tournament organizer and want to be on there, it

(01:05:00):
actually helps me if you coordinate with me, because then
I can get the information correctly. I can get images
from you.

Speaker 4 (01:05:05):
YadA YadA.

Speaker 5 (01:05:06):
Ace is back and it will be Tuesday night at
six thirty pm.

Speaker 1 (01:05:13):
And it doesn't have to it doesn't have to compete
with a wall anymore.

Speaker 5 (01:05:17):
Yes, and I will be able to put more time
and energy and and you know, take feedback and suggestions.
But I can't do things or change things if nobody
is vocal. So just remember, go tell your go, leave
a comment.

Speaker 2 (01:05:32):
On your stuff to happen.

Speaker 5 (01:05:34):
Exactly, Leave a comment on your favorite altered video or whatever.
Leave some feedback. Tell me you hate my guts at
least it's something.

Speaker 1 (01:05:42):
I hate your guts only sometimes and Blue would say
stop question, damn positive please.

Speaker 5 (01:05:53):
Yeah, I don't think I can. My brain just is
not worry.

Speaker 1 (01:05:55):
You're not wired to be angry about why.

Speaker 5 (01:05:59):
Why be sad about a card game? When uh my
childhood was sad?

Speaker 1 (01:06:05):
So you know, it's not about being sad. It's about
getting the most for the consumer. Fuck the company call?

Speaker 2 (01:06:15):
Have we stopped the recording?

Speaker 1 (01:06:16):
Lookie, no, we're still on. I can always edit out
what I want and Blue put on some fucking pants,
would you. It's time to grow up with adults.

Speaker 2 (01:06:32):
All right, good night, guys, good.

Speaker 1 (01:06:34):
Night, good night everybody. And with that, we'll see you
all next week.

Speaker 5 (01:06:41):
Not not next week because we'll be at packs ship, we'll.

Speaker 1 (01:06:44):
See are you all going to packs? Was guying to
ask Garth the guys again? Oh to do it?

Speaker 5 (01:06:56):
They're they're chomping at the bit to talk to you again.

Speaker 1 (01:07:00):
Oh are there? Is that? Like for real?

Speaker 5 (01:07:02):
Or I mean Chili will talk to anyone that will make.

Speaker 1 (01:07:05):
It that I understand, But I'm like, are you being
for real? And you're bullshitting me?

Speaker 5 (01:07:14):
An episode the day after Thanksgiving? Hell yeah, I don't
give a ship about.

Speaker 1 (01:07:19):
If I'm still alive. Probably all right, Well, great with that,
We'll see you all maybe next week.

Speaker 3 (01:07:36):
That is all.

Speaker 1 (01:07:41):
And if you love me, love me, but you never any.

Speaker 4 (01:07:47):
All.

Speaker 5 (01:07:48):

Speaker 2 (01:07:52):

Speaker 1 (01:07:58):
Not only that of a letting you know, they have
