Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oh yeah, but something tells me here afraid of it.
Oh you said it, let me know it.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
I'm with your attention. Oh that's about a sixty six.
Speaker 3 (00:20):
Hello, key, Forge community, glad to be here this evening
with our triple threat. We are minus a Wookie, so
no bad takes tonight, but without further ado coming in
from snores or with the sleeping dragons, we have.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
Dress cor What are we gonna do with all that,
all the bad takes, like, we're gonna be pretty boring
without this ridiculous stuff coming out of Wookie's mouth.
Speaker 3 (00:50):
I'm sure there's enough between the three of us that
will we'll have some some issues.
Speaker 1 (00:55):
Fair enough, fair enough, it's good to see you guys.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
And coming from our other corner, we have the grumpiest
of all Sheep.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
Hello, doctor Sheep.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
Can't believe I have to do work.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
You're recording those, aren't you.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
I'm trying I head record and we all started sounding
a little bit robody, so this will.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
Be great, okay, all right, well robot, let's see what
happens here.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
And I am the one, the only Oh no, I'm
Jesse Walk Hello, key, fortunately, glad to be here tonight.
We're gonna go ahead and hammer through some items because
well we don't have slow loookie in order to slow
us up bad takes.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
Let's do it right. I did add one thing. I
added Packs to you this weekend, so Packs unplugged in Philadelphia.
It's in my backyard. I'm gonna be there. Gig's gonna
be there this this weekend. So you know, in theory,
(01:56):
they were gonna have like a demo table for key Forge,
but apparently the booth they got that was way smaller
than they thought. So it's learning from the demo table.
So uh so I may know this.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
Think of a Germany with just one of those like
cocktail tables.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
Yeah, only I think. I think what it's actually going
to be is like you know, Mann and King of
Bling and these guys are going to be roped in
to you know, do something off to the side to
help out. They're like, how many hours can you dedicate
to doing this? And I'm like, I'm not responding to
this message. Also like by it, you know, you know,
(02:32):
maybe I'll play a game or two, but I don't
know if I want to dedicate you know, four hour
slots to uh to do free stuff for gg Yeah.
What are they going to compensate you with? Probably get
some Discovery decks or something. You know.
Speaker 3 (02:48):
I'm pretty I'm pretty sure that you too could end
up with a Vault Master twenty three deck.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
Maybe maybe oh no, those were that were very rare
on the Game Way, it's Master twenty four you're gonna get. Ah,
probably so packed you.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
But that's that's unplugged.
Speaker 1 (03:08):
So lots of board games, lots of board games. So
you don't sign up for anything on that one, right
you just you kidd events list, there are events so
like you can go, you know, I think like Matt
Mercer is going to be there or something, you know,
and go watch him say things about stuff. I don't
actually know if he's going to be there, but I
(03:28):
know various people are going to be there, and there's
lots of people that go for the shows and the
events and stuff. I don't tend to go for the shows.
I do more of the hall and then I'll do
gaming with friends, and I will I'll do like an
occasional event, but we'll see, well, we'll see. It's gonna
(03:51):
be lots of fun driving down with my buddy tomorrow
and uh.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
And without us drunken fools. Will there be a dazz
car experience.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
So this is a good question because a lot of
like my game, my board gaming buddies, they're gonna be
playing late into like they're gonna be in the hall
where there's not really uh booze. Right, They're gonna be
in the hall or maybe maybe you can be at
a beer or something, but it is not like necessarily
(04:24):
they're not gonna want to go out to a cocktail bar.
They just want to play board games until like you know,
two in the morning. So so I don't know, I
don't know. We'll see plus plus in Philly, like I've
been to all these places. Oh there's always more places,
but I don't know that there will be. We'll we'll see,
We'll say.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
Well. We we also have Walk un plug this weekend.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
Oh what's that do? Well?
Speaker 3 (04:49):
Walk Unplugged is where we get together and just play
some board games. So Arbitrator Steve, we're over at his place,
and our other buddy John will be there as well,
who does not play KeyForge but sheep my beautiful wife Tara.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
So a good group of five.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
Honestly, Arbitrator Steve keeps wanting to go ahead and place
more four player games. So that's our big dilemma right now.
But we had some good games, and always question of
what games are we bring in and how can we
get how can we get the games in in the
time that it's given to us.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
I mean, five is a tough number for board games,
right like most games want four. Yeah, with six people,
two three player games works pretty well, right Yeah.
Speaker 2 (05:34):
Well I have I know, I'm bringing Architects of the
West Kingdom, which I just learned this last weekend. It
handles five and it's easy to teach son for that, And.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
I have Vantage, which I think is definitely worth a
play for this group. They have not played it yet.
It is, in my opinion, very much. I sit down
with a beverage and just explore if you can handle that.
But it is not your traditional board game, and here's
our euro game that we're trying to get some end points.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
You know, I was hearing so much about ad Advantage
right when it came out. I feel like I haven't
heard anything about it a little bit. Did it like
burn real quick and go out or people still playing it?
Speaker 3 (06:17):
So there's quite a few people that are honestly still
playing it. There are a lot of people who have
dug into it with just multiple different plays because there's
so many different cards in the actual game that the
experience is unique and different. With eight hundred different locations.
It does have a high replayability. I just think that
(06:39):
it is not your traditional euro and with many individuals
looking for hey, how can I have this outcome?
Speaker 1 (06:47):
This win.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
Yes, there are technically some wins that can be pulled,
and you can either win, but you can also just
extend the game and keep playing. If you don't go
ahead and you're successful, it's a little bit weird in
its endgame and how it concludes, and so that that's
the off putting put for me.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
But I gotta tell a better story than you and win.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
There you go, that's all I know.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
Well you have six yeah, you have six different actions.
So it is definitely you're going to be successful. It's
just how much is it going to take out of
your journey in your ability?
Speaker 2 (07:26):
I tried to seduce the bar Wench.
Speaker 1 (07:31):
Exactly. This is exactly how this is going to go.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
These are really sentience sentience, and so we're sentience.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
I'm okay with that, my.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
Goodness, and in good arcives corner fashion. We have broke
down and we're seducing sentience.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
Now I did I did learn a couple of other
board games. We don't really have key Ford to talk about.
We talked about board games now.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
Right, Well we got until that go before the next event, right.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
Yes, which Sydney is I think intending to go to NECO,
which means Naco will definitely be a thing this year.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
It was a thing last year. We had like thirty
five people are.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
Now it's going to be a Sydney thing.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
A Sydney thing. Yeah yeah, yeah, well yeah, you guys
should totally come. It's gonna be.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
I am considering it, trying to figure out how how
I work that out, How I freeload off of you?
Speaker 1 (08:27):
There you go, Yeah, you can freeload off me. Yeah, yeah, totally.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
Yeah. That's February.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
It's the January thirty first into February first that that
we can't yeah yeah, so yeah, it'll be cold, cold,
Anamagh country, but you know it'll be it'll be a
good time.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
So yeah, I'm very very sad I will not be
able to go. That is the annual men's retreat that
I go ahead and run.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
So I have a different.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
Engaged to say, January thirty first.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
Yeah, January Saturday, January thirty first to Sunday, February.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
First, technically on call, but I could probably fix.
Speaker 1 (09:07):
That on call. Yeah, who else? Who else to be
on call? Being on calls? Lame, I'm on call right now,
so sort of I sort of a I'm sort of
always on call now, but like lost man, you're always
right right, I got underlings unless it goes real bad
then then I gotta you know, get the call. But yeah, yeah,
(09:31):
Necho should be great, you know, and I'll.
Speaker 2 (09:34):
Probably what events do they run at Necho, mister, I've
been there?
Speaker 1 (09:40):
Uh? So they did like sealed you know, sealed tournament,
uh and a big sealed tournament, and then they had
like a Bingo card where you had to play different
types of games against different people in order to win prizes.
As like the side events.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
Do they have adaptive an alliance for sheep? Because he's totally.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
All about that. Well, so, so the way they laid
out the bingo card, like yes, those things were in there,
but you didn't have to do them, like you could
get bingo without like if you really don't want to
play alliance or Adaptive. You didn't have to, right, you
could play you know something else.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
Something fun. Yes, I'm actively being bribed to play in
uh what is currently they're currently have registrations for the
next season of Caggi, going.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
On, oh what what? What is this Caggi that you speak.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
Of key forge and garbage?
Speaker 3 (10:39):
I think okay, And what do you do with key
forge and garbage?
Speaker 1 (10:44):
Is this where like we eat cards.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
Again with that would make it better? I would be
in this is where they make you play Adaptive.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
They linked it all over our discord. They've they've linked
it all over all the discords. So if you're interested
in playing Adaptive, then you can indeed sign up for
the next season of Caggi. And so the bribes will
be high enough that you will see me there.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
So so is the thinking that if they could get
Sheep to play, then everybody also wow, if the Sheep
is no longer holding it out there, I just want
to say, look, this guy will say anything but and
then he'll play, which is true. I am a sale
yeah yeah, say you're definitely yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
Yeah, I'm a whore, but you're our love you. They
also said if I did, I would have to play.
Not serious, but with with what the game is in mind.
I'm not allowed to just bid thirty chains and not
have any cards for the first five turns and just lose.
(11:55):
Oh I mean does that work?
Speaker 1 (11:58):
The sheep? You should not have sold What the hell
is that name of that deck? Your reversal deck?
Speaker 2 (12:06):
Why E cro Web?
Speaker 1 (12:08):
Yeah you should have held onto that so you could
have brought that.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
Yes, yes, no, because I would have to play it.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
Well, you just you just point at.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
Some point, you know, like they bid too many chains
not to play it, and you're stuck with it.
Speaker 3 (12:27):
But isn't the logical choice for you just to play fraud?
I mean you know that fraud better than anybody else
at this point.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
So I mean sure, but fraud actually doesn't like many chains.
Speaker 3 (12:39):
Well, you can't go out and say that. Now you're
just hurting yourself.
Speaker 2 (12:43):
Man, Well I wouldn't play fraud anyways.
Speaker 1 (12:46):
Yeah, here you go, why E crown Web of the
Ubiquitous Veil? So to find this deck not you don't
have to figure out how to spell all that. All
you have to do is good, okay, you know, search
for decks, click call the archons, then pick constraints expected
ember Max two and click search. It will be the
only deck that appears. That is how you find this deck.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
It was, it was. It's really poopy, that is for sure.
I am. At the time I bought it was my
most expensive deck I own. They picked out that.
Speaker 4 (13:21):
Deck fifty dollars for quad Phosphorus Stars, the BRISB Triple
Library of a Babble, such.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
A bad deck. Proudly owns it.
Speaker 1 (13:39):
Yeah, I traded it for artwork. Man, it's a good
I would actually I would have. I would have gotten
this deck for for some sort of lulls.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
Well, see, I already own a billion or tatoo decks
that I have no reason to play. I also don't
really care that I have no reason to play. But
certainly Adaptive is a place I would throw them around
because why not, because I don't care if I win
or lose, So I won't practice. I will bid based
(14:15):
off of gut, and then I'll probably lose. That sounds
about right, but I will. I will bid based off
of gut, not thirty chains.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
So I just love see if you better win fifty
percent of your games, otherwise they're just going to come
at you. Be a See, it's not a coin flip.
That's that Maybe that's why that's why they watch you
to apply.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
It's only a coin flip if both players are playing
on a similar level. In this case, yeah, it would
require me to care and it won't happen.
Speaker 3 (14:54):
Let me explain that to everyone. He does not care
about anything I do.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
Two sounded sounded pretty excited about you walk board game weekend.
Well that time.
Speaker 3 (15:10):
If you have not seen Necho's gonna have some sweet
amber too. And so I got a chance to preview
that tonight and it is pretty amazing. So if nothing else,
go for the amber. But it's always a good time
with individuals.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
Where they're I think you just ruined a surprise.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
Well, too bad, it's not a surprise, Josh. We're telling
people to get them excited. See all key fours. This
is what we do. We tell people about the good
things that they get to get.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
You mean, like prizes and not. I don't know. Let's
see what's like in my cupboard half the can of
green beans.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
Okay, in that in that frame, I know we're totally
But did you ever when you guys were going trigger
treating when you're younger, did you ever go to a
house and there, and you show up and they're like huh.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
They give you the puzzled look, like what are you doing?
Speaker 3 (16:02):
And then they realize that it's like Halloween, and so
you go ahead, and obviously they're like hold on a second.
And then you hear them rummaging in the background and
they either get pennies or some random like as you're
talking about, some like fruit tour like something that's just
really not Halloween esqueto. That's what I yeah, that's what
I picture here. That's what I picture, yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:25):
Except you forgot to turn the lights off after the
first person was disappointed.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
So potatoes by the way for Halloween. So I don't
know why, but so my wife's like refilled the candy
ball right the pantry, right we filled it. There's like
some potatoes there, just like you know what, put potatoes
in here.
Speaker 5 (16:45):
So she just like puts some potatoes. That's the kids
come with its just like potatoes with the candy, like
you know those little those little finger like.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
Potatoes, you know.
Speaker 4 (16:58):
And she's like a little kid came and started like
hunting and pecking for all the potatoes.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
They grabbing all the potatoes, but his bucket. He's very
happy exactly.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
Smashed against your house later that night.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
It's like a little four year old or something, right,
like very excited. They really like potatoes, yeah.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
Or he's like, this is gonna be my first real
food a week. Thanks mister.
Speaker 1 (17:26):
Look mom, I have potatoes. Oh so yeah, if you
come you give it to the Dransscourt household, you can
you can have some potatoes for Halloween.
Speaker 2 (17:42):
All right. Are we got a great cards now?
Speaker 1 (17:44):
Yeah, because Wookie's Wookie's not here to tell us that
we don't have time, so we can actually score score cards, right, yeah, absolutely.
Wookie's also not here to give us ridiculous takes on
these cards, so you know, so we'll see how that.
Speaker 2 (17:59):
See, don't worry, I'm here to give you ridiculous takes
on these guards.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
Perfect all right.
Speaker 2 (18:07):
So cardiolence.
Speaker 3 (18:10):
Is c w O two he three powers. No, it's
not too it's touchy touchy. Let's do touchy touchy. I
like it touchy because he is getting touched. And so
this is not This is a friendly touch, not a sheep.
Speaker 2 (18:29):
It looks like manslaying, but.
Speaker 1 (18:33):
You walk his far grabber of than the sheep.
Speaker 3 (18:37):
Oh that was years in the making of being violated
that just saving for that photo that that's more angst there.
But three power play after reap fully healing, use a
friendly creature.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
This.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
Uh, this tricks a lot of people because they think
it's already and then they read it again they go, oh,
this doesn't ready, and then it's a little disappointing.
Speaker 1 (19:02):
But it's a house cheat the healing who can still Okay?
Speaker 2 (19:06):
Yeah, I feel like we've had lots of cards like
this before.
Speaker 1 (19:12):
Yeah, this is this. I definitely at uh KFC had
problems because somebody played this and atrocity and they just
kept healing. I was like, oh my godness, that is
a move.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
But I've seen it so many times. Do nothing because
if you don't have an off house creature, this doesn't
do anything on its play. I mean, heel is not important.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
Yeah, the ability is good, but it doesn't always fire.
It is on play like a three.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
Okay, four, Oh I can live with a three.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
Three, let's move it all right. I bet you a
Wookie would have whined and called it a one because
it's doesn't ready.
Speaker 3 (20:09):
I threw it as a two, so I got talked
into it. I mean, yes, you get the house cheat there.
So three is fine, but it seems high. The next
card also is not really good, but cosmic recompense.
Speaker 1 (20:23):
Eh, it's a card.
Speaker 3 (20:24):
It's a rare play deal three to an enemy creature
if it is not destroyed, steal one, repeat the preceding effect.
Speaker 1 (20:33):
Oh, it does have a fade effect too.
Speaker 3 (20:34):
I fates you cannot play or use, sorry, play, use
or discard cards for the remainder of the turn.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
What did I ever do to this? Yeah? Flavor text
like what did I do to deserve this card being printed?
Speaker 2 (20:50):
This? This would have been better if it had a
little bit more space. Win a bago in.
Speaker 1 (20:56):
It's urt mmm yeah the elements baseball reference.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
Yeah, yeah, but I don't know if I've ever seen
this played for its play effect.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
I was gonna actually ask that I am not.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
It's actually not terrible. It's potentially a steal two.
Speaker 1 (21:13):
Steal two deal six damage is like actually pretty decent.
Speaker 2 (21:17):
Right, It's okay, But I mean it basically needs not
be there because we're never gonna do that, because not playing, using,
or discarding under a couple of faiths that trigger after
you've made your house call. It's real mean, h this
(21:38):
does just a couple of notes. It does you can
still stuff up stuff a fake card under our prophecy
if you're playing you know, pathetic Virtues, or if you're
playing DT you can still raise the tide. I think
you can still raise the tide.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
That's the move right there. Yeah, I mean that is
not playing using or discarding a card. So yeah, yeah,
that's big brain, big brain play. What so like why
like why the discard part? Like they won't even let
you try to get a better hand.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
Isn't the rumors on this one that it basically just
said fate Omega is functionally what it did.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
Well, the original version we saw said like end your
turn or something like that, but that meant you didn't like,
you didn't ready cards, you didn't draw off.
Speaker 2 (22:32):
Yeah yeah, brutal.
Speaker 1 (22:34):
Yeah. So I mean this is a sex.
Speaker 2 (22:39):
Yeah, this is a sex.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
No no questions asked. This is a This is a
six yeah.
Speaker 2 (22:45):
Sorry, this is a trunk creed is a twenty. This
you have to have fates. So this is a sixteen Yeah, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen,
depending on how many copies you.
Speaker 1 (22:58):
Get, Yeah, somewhere in there and then, but no, it's
not a twelve JML.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
Thanks for playing on.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
Pretty outrageous is what that is? All right? Walk byt
what's next?
Speaker 3 (23:19):
All right, we're going into a sweet sweet six power
kajus on creature cricks alien. Well, Kaju's on is attacking,
ignore armor and taunts after fight put an enemy creature
on top of its owner's deck.
Speaker 1 (23:33):
So I have a question about this guy. So you're
looking at this art here, right, dude.
Speaker 2 (23:38):
I'm going like, why do we have to have bad anime?
Speaker 3 (23:42):
Like?
Speaker 1 (23:42):
Is he standing on a rooftop and he's close to
the camera or is he like a fifty foot tall
alien with a badass sword.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
No? I think I think he's just on ground level
and this is just a upshot.
Speaker 1 (23:59):
It's an okay, all right? Yeah, she knows all about.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
The little robot, one of those little robots cruising around
looking at him.
Speaker 3 (24:07):
Yeah, I could, I could see that. I just like,
did you guys actually notice the artwork that's in the
back right is coming from Skyborne?
Speaker 2 (24:16):
Now?
Speaker 1 (24:17):
Oh? Yeah? Like that that's that dude. It's a nice guy.
That's about it?
Speaker 2 (24:24):
All right?
Speaker 1 (24:25):
What do we think of this card? My friends? Uh?
I mean, he has to fight to be good, but
he is kind of like uh killed two? Yeah, the
bounce is nice, right, he gets around stuff like destroyed
the facts.
Speaker 2 (24:41):
He's like, uh, he has six power, which means he's
not tiny.
Speaker 1 (24:45):
He's gonna read ig.
Speaker 2 (24:46):
Nore armor and taunt is I don't know? Yeah, no, oh,
it's a four because it deals with brio.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
It does kill Brile, you're right, or puts Brill back
in hand. Yeah you can. You can kill Colp and
then butt Brill on top of a stack.
Speaker 2 (25:05):
I mean this card is is fine but not good.
So is it like a three again?
Speaker 1 (25:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (25:12):
Or is it a four because it is big enough?
Speaker 1 (25:17):
Six is not six? Isn't used to? I think? I do?
Speaker 3 (25:21):
I do agree, Yeah, I go more along the three.
It's interesting that the after fight is a sack, like
you can put a second creature in, so put an
enemy creature on top of its owner stack, so you
could essentially fight also something but.
Speaker 1 (25:34):
We never see it yet. You see you don't see
it because of the rare.
Speaker 3 (25:39):
Yeah, all right, three it is cause she fall amber
pin action play destroy each creature with a more powerful neighbor,
fate destroy each creature with a less powerful neighbor.
Speaker 2 (25:54):
This is an unreliable yard.
Speaker 6 (25:58):
Like like do you set up do you try to
set up your own board for the fate, or do
you try to set your up for the play, or
you just like not care and you.
Speaker 1 (26:10):
Get it and go, uh, this is kind of half
bad for both of us, regardless if I play or
fade it, Like, I don't know. This one just feels weird.
Speaker 2 (26:18):
Sanctum one that kills neighbors that don't share a house.
It's like kinda it's kind of like that where it's like,
every once in a while, hey, this is gonna do
a whole lot, and often you're just like, yeah, well
this is just never gonna do anything.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
Yeah. That one didn't have an ember pip.
Speaker 2 (26:34):
This one does, yeah, which makes it even sadder to discard.
Speaker 1 (26:39):
This is like Umber one.
Speaker 2 (26:40):
I hate this guard. I don't want to deal with
this guard.
Speaker 1 (26:43):
I don't. I put it too, but I don't. Is goofy,
like like what's he doing? Is he committing suicide? Like?
What is he doing?
Speaker 3 (26:55):
He's playing squirreling it, He's jumping from his little.
Speaker 1 (26:57):
Hasn't I got wings? This guy's dying.
Speaker 3 (27:02):
He's just fallen down. It's it's a bass jump. Sure,
you just don't You just don't see the parachute. Yet
how often? How often have you guys played this card
in all? Yeah, it's just because of the rare you
don't see it that often.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
Eh.
Speaker 3 (27:22):
I like that it actually shows up with a little
bit of c here because PB does not have toun.
But it's it doesn't show up. It's not easy to
be able to manipulate. I put it out a one.
Speaker 2 (27:33):
It's and then I mean it's in good ARCon. You
can sort of plan for it, right You put your
atrocity next to another three ideally and go okay, so
I gotta lose the four power guy over there? But
who cares? Like you can if you know your apparent
has this is another one where you can play around it.
Speaker 1 (27:56):
Yeah, this is weird, Like you just.
Speaker 2 (27:58):
Discard your pointless four pound our creature to keep your
atrocity alive.
Speaker 1 (28:02):
It's so boring to play around this card.
Speaker 3 (28:07):
I can tell you that when I'm playing sealed, it's
not on the top of my.
Speaker 2 (28:11):
List I think about. All right, so we're done talking
about that garbage.
Speaker 1 (28:17):
We're gonna change it to a one, all right. So
to update the DRAZ score in which all these cards
and desirated, I'm gonna change up to a one by
the time we're done with this cast.
Speaker 3 (28:26):
Nice sample forty two C. It has an amber pit.
It's an artifact experiment. Action move one amber from your
opponent's pool to sample forty two C. If there are
four amber or more on sample forty two C four
jakey at no cost perge sample forty two C. Fate
(28:46):
the most powerful enemy creature captures half of your amber
rounding down.
Speaker 2 (28:53):
So another fate that I've never seen used as a fate.
Speaker 3 (28:57):
Yeah, it's because we have Trnk's Creed or other cards. Well,
but I mean I get I get it. The dream
of the key sheet is is more.
Speaker 1 (29:08):
It's still lure.
Speaker 2 (29:09):
I almost lost to this the other day, but mister
Perfect didn't reap one additional time, so I was able
to take him off and of regular key so he
couldn't key cheat with this.
Speaker 1 (29:24):
For key three, I did hear this move at our local,
So with all the artifact hate in set, it's pretty
hard to rely on this card.
Speaker 2 (29:34):
I mean, I still action capture one, steal one, throw
one away, however you want to say it, it's you know,
like because it's actually moving amber from your opponent's pool.
So that's a cool effect, but it's only ever four
and then it's going to pop. Yeah, I don't it's cool,
(29:54):
but I don't know if it's actually good. I guess.
Speaker 1 (29:58):
I mean, you could have a as we get to it,
there are.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
Like one one quarter of the creatures in the Star
Alliance house are good where you could actually have a
board of Star Alliance you want to use. It's not
very often right where you'd actually come back and get
this done.
Speaker 1 (30:18):
And it's only good early, right, it's late game.
Speaker 2 (30:21):
I mean it's it's got the what's redacted at probably
a two? Because this, I mean, this is functionally it's
it's a little bit better than redacted, but not much
better than redacted.
Speaker 1 (30:36):
I'm gonna check it out and then go. We're gonna
pull up the scores actually hold on. Instead of going
to the spreadsheet, I'm just gonna go drasscore dot com,
drassscore dot com, view all cards, search my name redacted
redacted as a two?
Speaker 2 (30:55):
Go or do we make it at three because it
has a fate that could be meaningful someday.
Speaker 1 (31:01):
Nope, it's nope, Okay, it's a two, dude. It is.
Speaker 2 (31:05):
Yeah, it's cool too.
Speaker 1 (31:07):
It is I agree with that, and I do like the.
Speaker 2 (31:09):
Like we'redacted as a cool too as well. But you know,
for sure I really want it. This would be a
much cooler account House piped.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
Yeah, that's true. That's true, all right.
Speaker 3 (31:25):
Our next card, Yonder's Log, it has an amber pip
action play if there are more enemy creatures than friendly creatures,
archive each card from your hand.
Speaker 2 (31:36):
Okay, so it says Yonder's log and it's some dude
looking at a little computer screen, which you know they're
trying to say he's doing a log book. But let's
face it, look at his face. We all know what
Londar's yog really is.
Speaker 1 (31:51):
Is that face? What is that?
Speaker 2 (31:53):
Now? That's just pooping face.
Speaker 3 (32:00):
So he's doing that wall at work or wall literally
in the process of working in front of him.
Speaker 1 (32:06):
You know what, I'm sorry that I even said.
Speaker 2 (32:09):
Dude, google still suit and understand will reclamation.
Speaker 1 (32:13):
No, we're not doing any of this anything.
Speaker 3 (32:17):
She says, do the opposite, my friends, that's the safest
bed possible.
Speaker 2 (32:23):
If there are no if there are more enemy creatures
than friendly car I have seen this card used to
good effect. It compos with that shadows hoodwink thing kind
of coolly right, dump your hand later, grab it when
you get your hoodwinked and steal for a bunch.
Speaker 1 (32:42):
Yeah, if you're overwhelmed is sort of what this says.
Speaker 2 (32:46):
Yeah, basically it says, if you're overwhelmed, our g I
each card from your hand. It's okay, it's not great.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (32:56):
Is it another two? Or is it a three?
Speaker 1 (32:58):
I had two? But like, there's been occasions where this
has been clutch but like archives are so dangerous.
Speaker 3 (33:11):
Yeah, I think there are reasons for it to play higher,
but I placed it at as a two.
Speaker 1 (33:18):
Two. Yeah, I mean thinks that Wookie would give a
ship if we don't give it a three. Therefore, let's
give it a two. Guys, let's do it done too.
Oh oh, another amazing bald head here, Bridge Officer Zarrow
three power one armor creature human after fight capture three
(33:39):
if you do ready a friendly non alien creature.
Speaker 2 (33:45):
The after fight makes this card such a bummer, hey,
like gets to you know, at best, he does it
once and then he's basically gonna die the next time
he does something.
Speaker 1 (33:55):
This card is a bummer as a whole man.
Speaker 2 (33:59):
That's a good cheat.
Speaker 3 (34:04):
It's how often are you playing this in order to
cheat cheap, I mean and sealed.
Speaker 2 (34:10):
I've done it a few times. But it's still at two.
Or is it a one? You're saying it's a one?
Speaker 3 (34:16):
Yeah, I mean, honestly, it's bad. It's bad, and I
with the with the cards that are after Star.
Speaker 1 (34:23):
Card cheats once in a while, it's once in a
while it's good, but it's slow and rarely works.
Speaker 3 (34:31):
It's slow and rarely works, and I'd much rather toss
it to burn under my.
Speaker 1 (34:38):
Right because if you're playing Star Alliance, it's because you're
playing the three sixes that we haven't finished talking about yet,
and and this guy's just going under your other fate
so you don't have to play Star Alliance ever.
Speaker 3 (34:49):
Yes, that's where my issue is. It's like the card itself.
Speaker 2 (34:53):
Is also just feed him to a trash fate as
a trash fate sometimes.
Speaker 3 (35:00):
I am fine, I'm fine putting it as a two,
but I'm telling you this is a garbage trash fate
character versus actually being something I'm seeking or playing or
getting any.
Speaker 1 (35:11):
Value out of. Can it do things? Sure?
Speaker 3 (35:14):
It just I don't want to come back to this
house in PV. All right, all right, what are you
going with boys two?
Speaker 1 (35:23):
I guess too. Sure? All right?
Speaker 3 (35:27):
Uh that actually was our first uncommon call.
Speaker 2 (35:31):
Well, I would rather have a yondar's log than a
bridge officer's o.
Speaker 1 (35:34):
Ro oh yeah, yeah that's true. Mmmm. We can noodle
on that, everybody. You can yell at your yell at
your speaker right now about how stupid we are for
scoring cards this way, all right, question to you, wookie.
Speaker 3 (35:55):
All right, the next card is Digital Signal Action with
a number PIP play for each card in your opponent's
archives archaic card, discard your opponent's archives.
Speaker 2 (36:08):
Archive disruption still pretty.
Speaker 1 (36:10):
Good archived, and maybe archive your own cards, which can
then be disrupted.
Speaker 2 (36:16):
But that's still pretty strong card.
Speaker 1 (36:21):
Yeah, I want to see this again outside of you
want to see three?
Speaker 2 (36:27):
Or do you want to see it four?
Speaker 1 (36:29):
I think I want to see it four both disrupt
archives and archive my own stuff.
Speaker 2 (36:36):
Maybe or just an amber PIP.
Speaker 1 (36:39):
I think it's an amber PIP is what you see.
Speaker 2 (36:44):
I think an ARCon though the card has a little more.
Speaker 1 (36:48):
Field.
Speaker 2 (36:49):
It is. You know, you often don't see any archiving,
but in ARCon you still see archiving.
Speaker 1 (36:56):
That is, and that is what we're scoring.
Speaker 2 (36:58):
So okay, four.
Speaker 1 (37:00):
Four, it is sorry, right four?
Speaker 3 (37:03):
All right, further investigations Amber pip action play destroy any
number of friendly creatures for each creature destroyed this way
archive at card.
Speaker 2 (37:16):
So I have used this because they have Trunk's creed
and I went.
Speaker 7 (37:21):
Ah, no board, ha ha, That's about what I've done
with this cardh Again, once in a while, kill some
point with star lines car creatures because you have a
bridge officer Zarro and you're like, guess I play him
and archive something else.
Speaker 2 (37:42):
But this is not a good card.
Speaker 1 (37:44):
Yeah, that sounds like Good's the one? Do you think
it's one? Except maybe it's that bad. Well, especially with
the archive hate that exists in PV, it takes a
bigger bump with TV being the main set, right.
Speaker 2 (38:00):
I mean in a good deck, you rarely want to
be destroying your own creatures because you have good creatures
and sealed. This card is a little better because you
have a bunch of trash you don't care about.
Speaker 1 (38:15):
But also just having a border random dudes is more
important than sealed.
Speaker 2 (38:20):
Yes, well, but you still you don't keep your one
offs when you have four of another house you just
kill the other one offs. And yeah, but anyways, yeah,
garbage card. Let's get to another garbage card.
Speaker 1 (38:33):
Are all right, we'll downgrade this one to a one.
Speaker 3 (38:39):
All right, galactic tariff upgrade, Amber Pip. This creature gains
after fight, slash after reap, capture one from your own side.
Speaker 2 (38:51):
This does shut down people from reaping. Yeah, it's still
not a great card, but it does have an Amber
pick it as long as I got a creature. Yeah,
you definitely at put this on your own creature. Where's
that leaving this like a two versus three?
Speaker 1 (39:09):
I put a one. I don't like this card. It's
I mean, yeah, I guess if there's a reap effect,
you put this on a ze f pump.
Speaker 2 (39:16):
Okay, how are the can't fight? Can't reap? This doesn't
actually stop it, but it's in that value world to me.
Speaker 1 (39:23):
Okay, So what is it called detention? The tension coils
A two? Yeah that sounds where it needs to be
two ye dudes?
Speaker 3 (39:37):
All right, fair enough, m all right, next card, Eh,
it's something gleaming the cube action Amber Pip. Play ready
and use a friendly creature. Fates discard the top card
of your deck. The discarded card's house becomes your active house.
Speaker 1 (39:58):
Yeah, so house, I'm thinking of that's the house that
you have to play now.
Speaker 2 (40:03):
Yeah, and that house is a six.
Speaker 1 (40:10):
Yeah, I mean this this is very good. Do we
think it goes all the way to sex? It's uh?
Speaker 2 (40:15):
I mean, I mean this goes to six, but not sixteen,
probably at eight and.
Speaker 1 (40:22):
A half just a normal sex.
Speaker 2 (40:25):
Yeah. Well because additional six this combos, because this actually
the play effect can be really good.
Speaker 1 (40:32):
Yeah, the play effet can't be good. Yeah, h and
the fate but it's not as good as control the
week though, right for the fate effect, No, and it
really matters.
Speaker 3 (40:42):
You do have to have early prophecy versus going ahead
and having anything mitter like.
Speaker 1 (40:48):
Right, if you have like even overreach, which we like
relatively or even more than overreach, the look how far
you've that's the one we like quite a bit. Uh,
play a creature, right, you could like do a bunch
of stuff and then play a creature and then flip
(41:08):
to a different house and then use that house.
Speaker 2 (41:11):
Right, So, well, you wouldn't put this card under that, well,
now would you?
Speaker 1 (41:16):
You would?
Speaker 2 (41:17):
Now you got to remember like we do. Yeah, but
that's true on that's true on cosmic recompense too.
Speaker 1 (41:26):
So what you're saying is we don't score a stupid
one's always good.
Speaker 2 (41:30):
No, it is not always good unless unless all the
last card that they play triggers it. And it didn't
mean anything like that's true all the time. The thing
is we we are not scoring on if this exists. Right. Basically,
if your deck has a bunch of gleaning the cubes
in it, you want to consider it right now. Maybe
(41:52):
the fates are all or the prophecies are all bad
and it's a trash deck like that is that is
something that is very true in PV. You can have
a pile of sixes because of their fates and then
have no good prophecies and the deck is utter trash. Right,
So this is this set is one of the worst
(42:13):
sets for high score bad deck because the usefulness of
prophecies is so high in our system is even worse
than SaaS for like trying to rate them things being.
Speaker 1 (42:31):
Deal well, I guess the only the only counter argument
to that for for the draft score is because there's
four prophecy cards, you actually get four additional cards scored,
and because the set so strong, we're like that's fine.
So getting you know, good prophecies bump in your score,
(42:52):
like if you get two sixes, I mean that's a
twelve bump on your score. Right, it's pretty good.
Speaker 2 (42:58):
Yeah. If you really want to downgrade this to a five,
go ahead.
Speaker 1 (43:02):
Ah all right, I talked, you talked me in those six.
Speaker 2 (43:06):
I mean, this is one of the cars you are
looking for when you hope it Starlance, cubes, faint recompense, those.
Speaker 1 (43:15):
Are the three.
Speaker 2 (43:18):
And now is it the strength of the cars is
the actual orders Probably recompense, faints, cubes.
Speaker 1 (43:24):
Maybe, pat maybe, although yeah, I guess cube has the
play of it.
Speaker 2 (43:30):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (43:31):
Yeah, all right, as was talked about, it's a six,
it just doesn't fall as as sixteen or a ten
until that's the difference.
Speaker 1 (43:41):
Kron Colin, Kallen, Colin, Sure Colin for Colin.
Speaker 3 (43:50):
Three power alien creature after rep destroy each other creature,
Fate destroy each friendly creature that does not share a
house with at least one of its neighbors.
Speaker 2 (44:01):
So the fade is pretty weak because again it's I
don't know, they have to have mixed house stuff going on,
you know, ones, I don't know. This. Actually, where I
see it get the most used is when it's in
(44:22):
a deck with cube and it's a board wing. Yeah,
I've seen that happen a not insignificant number of times. Yeah,
I mean this card is still not great. I mean,
like you still don't really, I don't think you want
(44:42):
this card because you've got to you gotta play it.
Then you got to call the house again to be
able to do it.
Speaker 1 (44:47):
But then it is that it's yeah, it's I think
it's borderline witch level where it will draw fire.
Speaker 2 (44:55):
Right, it's like you but if you have But the
thing is, if you have a bunch of creatures you
don't want to reap with, That's true. It's which level
when they're out boarding you, which means they already have
the resources to deal with it.
Speaker 3 (45:09):
Yes, unless you have something like gleaming the cube where
you're getting the ready and use.
Speaker 1 (45:13):
Yes, sure that's fair.
Speaker 2 (45:15):
But you certainly cannot guarantee you have gleaming the cube
in the same day for that.
Speaker 1 (45:20):
No, no, not at all.
Speaker 3 (45:21):
But I think that most people will throw it on
the current callen in hopes that they'll be able to
regain that they're going to be able to use the
reap effect. And the reality is is that most of
the time it just does not hit because it does
pull that which level that people are just like, Oh,
I have bored whoop, I'm going to get rid of it,
because why wouldn't you?
Speaker 1 (45:43):
Does it force? Does it?
Speaker 3 (45:44):
Does it force people to go ahead and take a
off turn or a different turn to make sure that
it does not reap? Yes, and so there is some
power above there.
Speaker 1 (45:53):
It's just the value of a witch, right, correct?
Speaker 2 (45:56):
So what what are you thinking though?
Speaker 1 (45:58):
Like or I was gonna say three, I'm fine with
the three.
Speaker 2 (46:04):
I'm like going, I'll go from a one to it two.
Speaker 1 (46:08):
Oh, well, there we go.
Speaker 3 (46:13):
So so I think that three, So I think the
three is fine.
Speaker 1 (46:19):
Three? Yeah, all right, we'll voted to a three. Then
she's still a two, all right.
Speaker 3 (46:29):
Doll leater three power creature robot. After Reap returned two
enemy creatures to their owner's hand, Fate purge the most
powerful friendly creature, and we are now in the common
section here.
Speaker 1 (46:47):
How come I can never get a deck with four
of this guy? Yeah, the faith is pretty good and
the like this is huge rhythm.
Speaker 2 (47:00):
This four of these and a couple of sample forty twos,
and I'd be a happy person like you land two
delets and they can't kill both like you can control
board yeah for a long time, just by being like
back in your hand.
Speaker 1 (47:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (47:15):
Even playing this sad sometime they actually have to, like
if you can land a couple of delets that they
can't handle for whatever reason, like at some point they
have to discard creatures from their hand until they have
more creatures in their hand than you can delete back
so they can actually do something, or the ability this
(47:36):
can just chain them forever. It is interesting if you
don't want to play because you got one or two
of them, his fate ability is very strong.
Speaker 1 (47:46):
Yea.
Speaker 3 (47:47):
It is interesting to see individuals who will continue to
play their creatures over and over and just get hand
clocked like.
Speaker 2 (47:54):
Yeah, so and hand clogging by bouncing creatures has always
been one of my favorite aspects of this game.
Speaker 1 (48:05):
I don't know, I just I love that form of disruption.
No play that junk again, No play that junk again.
Speaker 3 (48:11):
I think it's interesting as a turn one play going
first on. You know, it's not super strong, but it
is very much controlling or like it's a temple play. Unfortunately,
you just don't want to come back to Star Alliance
a ton.
Speaker 2 (48:26):
I do if I have a couple of these, but
what happens. It's still I think it's a four or
a five, like I want them.
Speaker 1 (48:38):
I could go four. I don't know if it's five though.
Five is pretty spicy.
Speaker 2 (48:44):
Yeah, it's very the most powerful creature. I mean, like
as a off at turn action kind of thing. If
you have the right things or prophecies.
Speaker 1 (48:54):
Of course, sure I could go four. What do you
what do you think? Any walk?
Speaker 3 (49:01):
I lean towards five. I actually do find spice in this.
I enjoy it. It has a lot. I have no
problem ever seeing more of them. So if you want
to go four, I hear it.
Speaker 2 (49:14):
But I think we've been taking points everywhere else. This
is a car I actually want.
Speaker 1 (49:18):
All Right, you guys vote all right, you voted it
up there, It is all right.
Speaker 3 (49:25):
Next card we can lose some points here ed Synclark
creature human three power enhanced with an amber Pip and
capture Pip coming in fate, destroy a friendly artifact.
Speaker 2 (49:37):
Okay, So this creature which mind you of the PV
we play is PV on PV because we're playing sealed yep.
And then the truth is now when you play ARCon nine,
of what you're playing is PV on PV so the
fate effect ends up being uninspired feeling because TV does
(50:00):
not have a lot of artifacts.
Speaker 1 (50:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (50:03):
Uh, the enhance nice, it's nice, and the playing him
as a creature doesn't happen this guy. This guy definitely
just gets fed out as a faith all the time, right, Like,
the only reason you ever play this guy is because
you actually have a decent fate and you called Star
Alliance and you're just like, I guess, I, even with
(50:28):
the enhancements, don't want this card in my.
Speaker 1 (50:31):
Deck, you know. So I went, as you guys know,
I just scored all these because we wanted scores out there,
and I had I had given it a higher score.
And I'm like, why did I give this such a
high score? Like I had given it a four and
I amber and potentially are And here's yeah, I think.
Speaker 2 (50:58):
Outside of PV, this is a better card. But there
isn't a world outside of TV right now, so this
isn't a good card. So I think right now this
is a three. But if for some reason gr became
dominant again, this might go back up to a four
(51:20):
because then all of a sudden, destroying art facts is
good again.
Speaker 1 (51:23):
I'll buy that. I'll buy that for sure. I I
when I first read this card, I was like, sweet,
but yeah, but.
Speaker 2 (51:30):
In this all PV world, this card doesn't hack it.
Speaker 1 (51:35):
Yeah, even if three feels slowly generous. Although, but the
enhance is nice, so yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (51:42):
Yeah, But the problem is is the enhanced can fall
in cards that are just being faded, and so you
don't even sure. You're not even guaranteed that you're going
to enhance this anymore, and you can't be something it
could it could be.
Speaker 2 (51:56):
Yeah, I know it's hard. It's hard.
Speaker 1 (52:00):
I don't be underwhelming.
Speaker 2 (52:01):
I don't know how much to hate this thing, but
I know I don't like I'm disappointed when I see
a bunch of ends and clerks in my decklist.
Speaker 1 (52:09):
Yeah, draz where you've thrown it? Ah, Three, it's hard
to It feels hard to go lower than a three,
even though part of me wants to cheap. Where are
you going?
Speaker 2 (52:22):
Three is fine?
Speaker 3 (52:23):
Okay, it is too, so there we go. I have
no problem hating on it. It is not something I want
to see. I'm not excited. But two, three, whatever you
guys go with. I guess the average puts it at three.
Wookie's not here to argue, ah, let's go into the
next common Precision Striker two Creature two power Creature robot
(52:46):
play after fight, after we discard the top three cards
of your opponent's deck, put one of the discarded cards
on the bottom of your opponent's deck.
Speaker 1 (52:56):
This is Yeah, now.
Speaker 2 (53:00):
I've done fine with this card.
Speaker 1 (53:03):
I think it's because of it.
Speaker 2 (53:04):
It's not amazing, but it is disruption. You like, because
of the discard, their trunk's creed and you feel real good.
Speaker 1 (53:12):
Yeah, but yeah, but.
Speaker 2 (53:15):
That's real disruption. And then you put the crappiest card
on the bottle of their decks so they have to
play through it. I've not hated this.
Speaker 1 (53:24):
I've hated it. I'm like, why is this the one
I have to get?
Speaker 3 (53:27):
Are you pitching this or are you pitching now this
guy's I mean, I'm playing it so that this.
Speaker 1 (53:33):
Guy is more likely a play than a pitch if Yeah,
unless it ever has a window where you have to
call star Alliance.
Speaker 2 (53:41):
Yeah, this is another one. I think I've had two
of them on the board. This is a sealed game though,
so it is what it is, but a couple of
who's got on the board and you just keep reaping
with them and being like, let me get rid of
all your good cards. Mm hm, but what does that
(54:01):
put him?
Speaker 3 (54:02):
Like?
Speaker 2 (54:02):
He's still tiny? He does have a play effect one.
Well this is so this card is better than vandalize
minus the amblet. Now, yeah, vandalizes look at the top
three and discard one. This just scraps three and puts
the worst card back on the bottom of ack, so
(54:22):
they have to deal with it later. This is better
than vandalized.
Speaker 1 (54:26):
Because you're getting rid of two. What about it? But
I don't like this card right?
Speaker 3 (54:33):
Tell me why? Because it doesn't even.
Speaker 1 (54:35):
Doesn't have a number pip on it, Like I want
basically every other star Lion screachure before this one. Almost
don't want Clark. I see this.
Speaker 2 (54:46):
We're going to disagree because I don't want Clark, I
don't want Spade, I don't want Still it takes no.
I like this better than all those? Am I like
this better than then ms?
Speaker 1 (55:03):
Really that's a that's a toss up. No, it's not.
Speaker 2 (55:09):
Okay, all right, who's got the sealed record this year?
Speaker 1 (55:16):
Not me?
Speaker 2 (55:17):
Yeah, there we go. But what we're fighting about, like
how bad this mediocre card is? We're talking twos and threes, right,
because I'm not saying this thing is fours and five.
Speaker 1 (55:29):
Well, all right, two then, I.
Speaker 2 (55:32):
Mean I think this is a three.
Speaker 1 (55:33):
I like this three. All right, what do you what
do you walk? Is a three?
Speaker 3 (55:37):
But I like the disruption off of it.
Speaker 1 (55:41):
Fine, three, you can you have a two? We heard
the descent, I have it, We're making it. Then you guys,
you guys get it on the three.
Speaker 3 (55:51):
So all right, let's go on to some recovery operation
now that drazz is really defeated here. Recovery operation. No
amber pis action play. Discard the bottom three cards of
your deck. You may put any number of the discarded
cards on top of your deck in any order.
Speaker 1 (56:11):
Yeah. Also not great, but well it's occasionally okay, right,
you can you can put.
Speaker 2 (56:18):
An amber pip to be a card I want.
Speaker 1 (56:21):
Yeah, it's okay.
Speaker 2 (56:26):
I mean it filters out the crap from your deck. Again,
a card that I feel like is better and sealed
than in that's true.
Speaker 3 (56:33):
Yep, Ironically, this actually plays. I mean, if you're not drawing,
you can go ahead and tell what cards coming next.
For some of the prophecies, it's not.
Speaker 2 (56:44):
Definitely a telegraph your next turn card.
Speaker 1 (56:47):
Yeah, it's a card it's yeah, it's a card, like,
is this comparable to any this is It's not as
good as the Look at the top draw card.
Speaker 2 (57:02):
What's the other one that's Amber Pip and just rearrange
the top two cards.
Speaker 1 (57:10):
That one. Uh yeah, I don't know. I give this
a two.
Speaker 2 (57:18):
Okay two.
Speaker 3 (57:21):
I am one hundred percent fine with two. I think
it like if cards are on the bottom and you're
pulling it back, yes, it telegraphs. But if you have
one of those eight sixteen one of the cards, that
is ridiculous that you need there's a book LQ. Yeah,
(57:42):
I think it too is appropriate. All right, let's go on, boys,
we have refits.
Speaker 1 (57:46):
Which is there? It is? Okay?
Speaker 3 (57:51):
Uh nice, Wookie girl, I like it action Amber Pip play.
You may move and upgrade and play to an another creature.
Fate destroy an upgrade attached to a friendly creature.
Speaker 2 (58:07):
This is the card you get four of because Luke
hates us.
Speaker 3 (58:12):
Yeah, well this is where like because it's in the
common slot.
Speaker 1 (58:16):
It's so frustrating.
Speaker 2 (58:18):
Yeah, this should still be an oncommon, right, It's just not.
It's like it is a kind of neat play space
very rarely. Mm hmmm, So is is this a zero
or is this.
Speaker 1 (58:32):
The number one? I gave it a one.
Speaker 2 (58:34):
It has an amber pip and every once in a
while it does something. Yeah, well, lets you steal that
scutum for your atrocity, or steal the scut.
Speaker 1 (58:46):
Them discard it because you don't want to move your upgrade.
Speaker 2 (58:55):
I don't know that happened.
Speaker 1 (58:57):
Should we give it a zero? Just to show how
trash is you know? Occasionally?
Speaker 2 (59:03):
Yes, this is like if you had the advanced scoring
and this is a one, then zero zero zero zero zero,
like one of these more than one of these.
Speaker 1 (59:12):
No, all right, let's trash it. Let's call the zero.
Speaker 2 (59:16):
Okay, we're just taking points of Star Alliance.
Speaker 1 (59:21):
Well, we gave it. We gave him a bunch with
h with precision story to her and deleted there. So
all of a sudden, Star Lions just jumped up so
high Striker never knows anything for me.
Speaker 3 (59:40):
Okay, shall we go and talk about a sweet, sweet
bearded man. Reservist Jones three power Creature Human deploy play
capture two amber for each of Reservist Jones's non Star
Alliance neighbors.
Speaker 1 (59:58):
I just wish, I wish.
Speaker 2 (01:00:01):
Everywhere I go I see this. Yeah, like freewhere.
Speaker 1 (01:00:04):
Where stickers of the everywhere. It's a good mugs creeping
like so, so manmon has this play mat? Now? The
is that?
Speaker 2 (01:00:17):
Is that an energy drink or a spaceball?
Speaker 1 (01:00:21):
Yes? Yeah? The uh the wide the widescreen version of
this where you see the whole cool landscape. It is
really cool, like like he got he got great art
with this, like lots of run around and Captain Morgan everywhere.
Like this is probably the best, the best used art
(01:00:46):
pledge that I've seen.
Speaker 3 (01:00:49):
I give him credit. He has used his pledge very well.
Speaker 2 (01:00:54):
But is that a self pleasure device attached to the So?
Speaker 1 (01:01:00):
Yeah, yeah remember euro Trip? What was that that crazy
long word that that movie?
Speaker 2 (01:01:09):
Or I mean I have see euro Trip, but I
don't remember this a.
Speaker 1 (01:01:12):
Billion years ago. Yeah, it's like a google gloshy good,
it's this crazy assex toy. I don't remember whatever. And heist,
Yeah there you go something like that. No, that is
not it back Fife and heist being say punched to
the face. That is of course you would know this.
Speaker 2 (01:01:33):
Okay, So reverse of Jones, do we say what he
does or we just been talking about the art.
Speaker 3 (01:01:37):
Yeah, I already did that already I think, so, pa,
should I say it again for you?
Speaker 2 (01:01:42):
Now? Okay, so deploy captures four.
Speaker 1 (01:01:46):
So he'll just say it anyway. Oh my goodness. Sometimes yeah,
like you know, this card is.
Speaker 2 (01:01:55):
Always like oh crap Amber control. Yeah, like losing I
guess Jones this turn and.
Speaker 1 (01:02:03):
Hope I draw something and then yeah, I.
Speaker 2 (01:02:08):
Hate this card. But this guy also uh sadly gets
faded quite a bit.
Speaker 1 (01:02:13):
Yeah. Two, okay, what do you guys?
Speaker 2 (01:02:25):
I mean, like I said, it's a tough it's like
this one and and the card I like a precision striker.
You know these are I want like one reservist Jones
and three well and three the leaders. Yeah, so yeah,
okay two two three somewhere in there.
Speaker 1 (01:02:45):
Two point yeah it is a two, so two it is.
Speaker 2 (01:02:53):
Sorry, man, we don't we don't love your card. We
know you didn't design the ability.
Speaker 3 (01:02:59):
We do love the mug shot, though, Man looking good
all right facilitates uh two power creature robot recruiter with
an enhanced Star Alliance PIP after the light After reap,
you may ready a non robot creature for each facilitates
Star Alliance neighbors.
Speaker 1 (01:03:17):
So house enhancement. Plus you kind of got to take
care of it. It's a little witch like this is
this is this.
Speaker 2 (01:03:25):
Is the other card that you have to have to
go real bananas and Star Alliance. Sadly, the leader is
a robot. But you can reuse your pointless clerks Jones.
Speaker 1 (01:03:44):
Yeah, now your bridge officers, Zorrows.
Speaker 2 (01:03:49):
I've definitely he's definitely right a few bridge officers for
me and my There are a handful of reprints that
we haven't touched on that this guy works with. So
the House enhanced this is the card. It's like as
a creature, he's probably still only like a two on
(01:04:13):
his own, Like he's a he's a witch you have
to deal with sometimes, right, like if you actually have
because you may only have robots and then you're like,
this card's stupid. Yeah, but he may be sitting next
to guys who are really good that you get to
then go bananas with, so you know, he's like again,
(01:04:34):
he's like two three creature wise, is the enhance enough
to push this into the traditional enhanced four spot?
Speaker 1 (01:04:42):
No? I think so, I mean I'd be fine with that.
I mean, like.
Speaker 2 (01:04:48):
House enhanced cards can be good.
Speaker 3 (01:04:53):
M what do you want to see this? Star lines
pip On what's your ideal Christmas tree land that you're
super happy about?
Speaker 1 (01:05:04):
Anything for efficiency, it's efficiency, not.
Speaker 2 (01:05:08):
A card that I'm going to fake.
Speaker 1 (01:05:10):
Hm, sure, fair enough Christmas Lands, foreseer or something right
forcier a robot. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:05:24):
I don't care.
Speaker 1 (01:05:26):
That I have to check. Let's say one of you
cards H for SR is a cyborg scientist, so you
could totally ready or foreseer.
Speaker 2 (01:05:40):
Yeah, Zeph punches. There's a lot of logos.
Speaker 1 (01:05:45):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:05:47):
I feel like, similar to reservist Jones it being a
to something. This is really scilitate, being more of a
three something. I can't push it into that four. That's
where I'm struggling.
Speaker 2 (01:05:59):
Okay, and you'll stab a L eight aater for some reason.
Speaker 1 (01:06:04):
I got a three, sheep's got a four. Break that.
There we go.
Speaker 2 (01:06:10):
Then that's okay.
Speaker 1 (01:06:11):
Four It is.
Speaker 3 (01:06:13):
Another sweet four here for spade Teller two power creature
human play after fight.
Speaker 1 (01:06:20):
After we choose a.
Speaker 3 (01:06:21):
House, discard the top card of your deck. If that
card belongs to the chosen house, gain one.
Speaker 2 (01:06:28):
So it does work with a lot of Star Alliance,
manipulate the top of your deck. Ask again later, Yeah,
and ask again later. And it is our boy Rob.
Speaker 1 (01:06:41):
It is the sweet DJ headset going on there.
Speaker 2 (01:06:45):
Yeah, but no, right, I tell you what. I have
made Amber off of them. But it's because I have
facilitate and I'm just going right right, So these two wow, okay, generous,
(01:07:08):
generous sky hell it?
Speaker 1 (01:07:10):
Oh you're gonna go one? You were I haead a one? Wow? Yeah, sorry,
I think.
Speaker 2 (01:07:21):
I can live with two.
Speaker 1 (01:07:22):
I can live with the two too.
Speaker 2 (01:07:23):
But it's got to play effect. It definitely makes Amber sometimes.
It actually with the ability to control the top of
your deck that exists because future Boister's reprinted and stuff.
It's actually discarding cards you don't want to draw. But
it's like, yeah, it's cool, yes, but for me, yeah,
that's again sealed thing more than our correct.
Speaker 3 (01:07:46):
But when you're playing this, you have to discard the
top card, and there's cards I do not want to hit,
and if I don't have something to preview what's coming,
that's really really dangerous there.
Speaker 2 (01:07:57):
So yeah, that's true. I can see that.
Speaker 3 (01:08:03):
It is the worst when you go ahead and you
have a ten point card that got discarded for spade
teller and you're like, oh that was yeah, no, all.
Speaker 1 (01:08:16):
Right, so what's your final decision draz first Spade Teller
two yeah, two yeah, okay, all the last card.
Speaker 3 (01:08:29):
Strategic Feint. Mm hmmm Action Amber Pip definitely needed that.
Play deal one damage to two enemy creatures and exhaust
them Fate. Discard the top card of your deck until
the end of the turn. You may not play cards
of the discarded cards.
Speaker 1 (01:08:46):
Pipe. Hey, it's the third in our demon and Demonic
trio of Fates. Yeah, definitely one you want. So by
the way, he gave Traumatic Echo, which you could select
what type of card they cannot play A five. Mm hm.
(01:09:09):
But we're giving this a six. Is that what we're
saying here? Because because the Fate, because it's a fate,
so it screws them up mid turn and makes them
on to hate TV because.
Speaker 2 (01:09:21):
It happens after house call.
Speaker 1 (01:09:23):
I think that's really the difference. Like I mean, I.
Speaker 3 (01:09:28):
Traumatic Echo did play well at Worlds for Arcan has
a really important part to limit kind of what's being played.
But because this is like the timing of when Strategic
Feint is going off with the Fates, that's the reason
that I think it pushes to a six.
Speaker 2 (01:09:45):
Amazing.
Speaker 1 (01:09:46):
I think your argument you've just made is that traumatic
Echo should be probably a six because.
Speaker 2 (01:09:52):
I definitely held that card for two turns to close
a game out. Yeah, because that is bust.
Speaker 1 (01:10:00):
Yeah, there's definitely like, uh, there's definitely some cards that
we should maybe go back and revisit. Uh, well we
were all right, so so actually let's ask you, dear listener.
So we were getting cards. Yeah, yeah, the only two
that are left that everybody else got got bored. We
still got a look at card of our gas the
(01:10:21):
rest of them, right. We had JML for a while,
we had Barry for a while, we had Walla Blue
for a while. We had whole bunch of folks in here.
So we were getting crap in, uh from uh from
Harmed and Judo and Donkey for is that. We gave
one to Parallel Thinking and uh, I was like, you
(01:10:43):
can't count on it, you know, it's uh you know
often does nothing all this and they were like, no way,
it should be way better. So I don't know, is
one wrong? Yeah, like yeah, low Car says, Parallel is
still one. You hope it works. I agree. They're saying, hey,
(01:11:03):
you can set up the archives, and Mammon chimed in
saying AD's better. Than you think. Vargas says two to three.
I don't know. What do you guys think? Do we
need to change parallel thick gig or do we g
So I.
Speaker 2 (01:11:20):
Was gonna say as actually as bar gas when I
have it that cards is zero, you have it, it's
a freaking five because it's going to freaking hit two
cards I want and steal. Steele Am Brown like this
is stupid.
Speaker 1 (01:11:34):
Yeah, yeah, I mean I could see I could bump
it up to a two. I feel for something that's
so so random.
Speaker 3 (01:11:47):
I don't.
Speaker 1 (01:11:48):
I don't love it.
Speaker 2 (01:11:49):
I don't, I don't, I don't love it.
Speaker 1 (01:11:53):
I mean I did manage in one game two, you know,
set it up where I had too.
Speaker 2 (01:12:00):
Of the same in my archives, so I knew I
was going to get the steal.
Speaker 1 (01:12:06):
But like the fact that I had two bad cards
as willing to leave my archives until I hit parallel
thinking tells you you know what kind of game I
was playing.
Speaker 2 (01:12:17):
It was a game where parallel thinking was not important.
It's another card that is potentially better and sealed.
Speaker 1 (01:12:25):
Yes, you can valiate, you can hit.
Speaker 2 (01:12:31):
In ARCon. You can hit archives that happen like just
discarding two cards from your opponents archives in ARCon is
potentially valuable even if it doesn't steal.
Speaker 1 (01:12:41):
Although there's so much archive hit now they probably you
probably already got rid of their archive last turn, right,
Like dude.
Speaker 2 (01:12:46):
I mean like that that that Alliance thing I was playing.
I only had one card that hit archives and it
was under a fate and it didn't hit and that
lost me my top eight game, So you know, like
love Mark, I would have been good for me there.
Speaker 1 (01:13:03):
What do you think, you walk?
Speaker 3 (01:13:05):
I think that it probably is more along the lines
of a two, just for where it is. I think
the impact on discarding cards, it's ability to target your
own archives which you can control, or your opponent's archives.
Speaker 1 (01:13:20):
I think it's a two so I've seen it do work.
I'm gonna change it to a two.
Speaker 3 (01:13:29):
Higher than that, No, no, no, I definitely not higher
than that. For other Star Alliance cards that have been reprinted,
anything stand out to you, guys, just with a quick.
Speaker 1 (01:13:43):
Overview future Booster Book and Scout Contrino Flux like that
I've liked most. So this Kaushik Fall is the first,
like weird Star Alliance board wipe that I didn't like.
Uh well, I guess that's not true. I didn't like
into the warp either, but the Contrinos I've always liked,
(01:14:05):
which came back. Let's see the horizon's back. That's that's good, right.
I can't believe they brought back stronger together. Why would
you do that? Hold the line? Uh, I guess that's
(01:14:27):
all right, bard down, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:14:34):
I thought it was interesting with Laya the land and
Navigator Ali coming back, just so that you can control
kind of what's next. So there is some synergy that
you see, but for.
Speaker 2 (01:14:43):
The most lot of top deck synergy correct Star Alliance.
Speaker 3 (01:14:47):
But for the most part, what I find important is
going to be future booster. That Quintrino flucks.
Speaker 1 (01:14:54):
That's what are you cracking together? They're sheep, You got coconuts.
Speaker 2 (01:14:59):
Let's going on, I got let's let's keep moving.
Speaker 1 (01:15:03):
This is why, Well, you can't use our audio. Okay,
So I'm gonna press since we did All Star Alliance,
I'm gonna press this magical update card ratings button and
crash the server. Here we go boo boom, and everyone's
gonna recalculating all decks. Here it goes. Oh that's right.
I had to slow it down because its problems is
(01:15:27):
take a hot minute.
Speaker 2 (01:15:27):
All right, all right, boys, we're an hour and fifteen minutes.
Speaker 1 (01:15:33):
So that yeah, what do we do untamed? Or we
leave up for another time? What are we what are
we doing?
Speaker 2 (01:15:39):
I mean, I think we're in an hour fifteen minutes,
so we're pretty good for tonight.
Speaker 1 (01:15:43):
Pretty good? Yeah, that was pretty good. That's pretty good.
Speaker 2 (01:15:46):
Do we have anything else we want to re score?
Speaker 1 (01:15:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:15:49):
Got a few minutes.
Speaker 1 (01:15:50):
This this, this is true, you know, I think we
should do sometime. Actually, we should each just do a
little homewark, go back through, and then we can each
bring forward a few cards and talk about those. I
think that could be interesting.
Speaker 2 (01:16:04):
Okay, that's the twenty seven.
Speaker 1 (01:16:07):
Actually live, So we are stupid. Wookie gave Atrocity a four,
and so did E walk you and I Sheep gave
it a six.
Speaker 2 (01:16:18):
I feel like she understand how this game works.
Speaker 1 (01:16:21):
I don't understand. Actually, I have this note over here,
dress score six. I think I just overrode his idiot said,
and it is a six. I think I just five,
So maybe we don't need to re score it. Uh yeah, yeah,
six for sure. Three. Get out of here. It's going
(01:16:43):
down to it two now.
Speaker 2 (01:16:49):
It's gonna be interesting when we get to untamed, because
I have no love for it, but.
Speaker 1 (01:16:53):
I gave it a lot of ones.
Speaker 2 (01:16:55):
It's it's being used, it's being used in alliance.
Speaker 1 (01:17:01):
Well there are, yes, there are like a small number
of real good cards. But other than that, our audience
is saying that, oh, you shouldn't have should also that's
bar Gas. He's got all three. He's got all three
(01:17:21):
of the trophies. I mean we we should you know, certainly?
Speaker 2 (01:17:27):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:17:32):
It it is? It is good?
Speaker 5 (01:17:37):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (01:17:37):
Is it? Is it four good? I don't know because
three Amber, I guess because of the timing, right, Like
we haven't cards to just give you three Ember. We
haven't given above a three historically. But but the timing
of when you get it is maybe the key here
three Amber.
Speaker 2 (01:17:51):
After after they can no longer respond Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:17:55):
Yeah, like you know early Bird or or one of
those cards, right yep? So yeah, mmmm alright until like
two interred decks in recalculating. So it's going to take
a bit.
Speaker 3 (01:18:17):
Well, we will see you next week then after after Thanksgiving,
and it'll still be calculating.
Speaker 1 (01:18:24):
Is that what we're hearing? Dress? No, I mean it'll
take a minute.
Speaker 2 (01:18:28):
It is this running on a MacBook in your closet.
Speaker 1 (01:18:31):
No, it's it's running on a w S. But the
the way I have it working is actually not good,
the way it recoc scores, and I just haven't fixed
it because I remember in five code of the whole thing.
So basically it's pulling each deck, calculating in my browser
and then going back and updating the server. And that
(01:18:53):
is the stupidest way to be doing it. So I
really need to change it to be like no, no, no,
just like make this a batch process on the server
that it kicks off. But but I don't know, this
is how it works right now. I'll have to change this.
There's a whole bunch of things I have to change
with this thing. So you know, when I get around to.
Speaker 3 (01:19:14):
It twenty seven, you know, we get to twenty twenty seven,
and then it's twenty twenty eight.
Speaker 1 (01:19:22):
It's out there. Get your sign up right if you're so,
if you're not a Patreon right now, you get a
We give you a few deck scores and you can
definitely look at all the decks that other people have scored.
And then if you become a Patreon and we got
to have Wookie fix the levels because we're not doing
(01:19:43):
like alpha scores or anything like that. And right now
I really have one set of scores of fetches or
whatever we call it that folks get. But in the
future I have some ideas as to what the higher
level tiers would be, but I just have to find
time to actually uh implement those or to tell Claude
(01:20:06):
to implement those. So yeah, Claude, that's right, that's right.
Speaker 2 (01:20:16):
I mean, I'll still often score people's stacks. It's a c.
Speaker 1 (01:20:25):
It's just a random random score is still exists.
Speaker 2 (01:20:30):
It's a Burger token out again.
Speaker 1 (01:20:32):
Burger token score is still uh uh Burger token Keyford score. Goodness,
this is the best radio I've heard in a while. Guys.
Speaker 3 (01:20:52):
All right, guys, is there anything else that you have
closing up shop? Yep, all right, well thanks for listening
to our ramblings. Uh yeah, keyboards cool yay.
Speaker 1 (01:21:07):
So what does what you say at the end? He says,
he says something something, go and do things and then
and then he says some word that triggers me. And
then I go, happy fortune and everyone, and then you
are to be with you exactly. And then we and
then
