The Serious Work of Play with Actress Anne Diemer

I am so excited about today's episode with brilliant actress and dear friend, Anne Diemer! Anne has acted in many famous theaters in Germany as well as in primetime German television and we talk about so many things today, namely the serious work of play! Some of the other topics that we also cover are how to use whatever you are feeling and turn it into creative energy (both for performing and creating),  how to manage being a "working artist" when you don't feel like it, the danger of judgment, how to free yourself from judgment and how to push yourself even when judgment is lingering, managing the critical voice that comes up in the middle of a performance, finding inspiration in every day life and becoming more like children - taking our play seriously.
