In Part 4 of our recap and review of the final season of Game of Thrones, we reach the mid-point of the season and the project. Episode 3 of Season 8 saw the long-awaited showdown between the forces of darkness and light as the Night King's army of the dead launched their attack on Winterfell. This episode is filled with drama, intense battles, surprises, dragons, sacrifice, an undead dragon, heroism, despair, hope....and did we mention an undead dragon? There are so many ups, downs, and moments of nail-biting tension that you were left wondering what they could possibly do in the second half of the season? Perhaps that was part of the problem? Perhaps not. When all is said and done, Arya has slain the Night King, but at a tremendous cost for our heroes. What happens next? Tunney and DJ have suggested to Dave that things start to go off the rails from here. Will Dave agree? We will have to see where things go from here. But, for now, there is no dispute that this was one hell of an episode, so tune in and take a walk down a bloody and awesome memory lane with us here in another excellent installment of Game Gone Wrong?
