My conversation with Aaron Machbitz was something out of a storybook.
I had started listening to his podcast and after the first 2 or 3 episodes, I was hooked.
Simply because I felt through his words, passion, empathy and heart that this incredible gentleman had really tapped into what we so often seek to find - which is our individual sense of personal truth and purpose.
Aaron is a dedicated soul with a passion for helping and bringing smiles to people.
A former Division 1 Baseball Player and Professional Wrestler in his own right, Aaron has never been one to shy away from taking in new experiences and reinventing himself in the process.
However, in his own words, Mental Health is very much at the core of everything he does as he has made it his mission to facilitate deeper connections within ourselves while integrating different communities and facilitating real genuine connection.
Aaron has a deeply rooted sense of the human experience. His many travels and interactions coupled with a host of personal circumstances, some quite tragic, have shaped an individual with laser-focused duty to lift as many people up as he can though his message and will to serve.
He is the host of amazing Something For Everybody podcast where, having gone on a lifesaving journey to learn everything about mental health, well-being and realizing our true potential, he made his goal through his show to make those who listen feel more loved and connected through sharing stories.
He is also the founder of You Are Loved, a non-profit mental health organization dedicated to spreading awareness, breaking the stigma, presenting hope and being a beacon of love to all people living with mental health conditions.
On this episode, Aaron schools me on why baseball is such a big deal to him, getting back when your entire world comes crashing down, not letting the darkness take over you, being a source for good, loving ourselves and so much more.
I am honoured to have this amazing individual on the program.
