In this week's Back to the Movieswe mount our broomsticks for our first review in J.K. Rowling's World of Wizardry. This week we're reviewing the curious Harry Potter spin-off, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

To kick things off, Alexandra and I talk about our experiences with the Harry Potter book series after discussing what we've been watching. Alex talks about the new Netflix original series The Crown starring Matt Smith and John Lithgow as Winston Churchill. She also talks about the films she's looking forward to catching over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, Edge of Seventeen and Moonlight. I talk a little bit about HBO's hit show Westworld and the buzz around the most recent episode.

We start our review by talking about the somewhat anti-climactic release before giving our initial thoughts on the film. It's been just over five years since The Deathly Hallows Part 2 concluded the original series and almost 10 years since the books concluded. Is Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them something fans wanted? In our spoiler section, we discuss our theories on the future of the spin-off franchise.

The discussion is magical! We hope you'll join by giving us your thoughts in the comments below.
