Amos 8:11
"The time is coming," says Adonai Elohim, "when I will send famine over the land, not a famine of bread or a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of Adonai.
Genesis 42:1 Now Ya`akov saw that there was grain in Egypt; so Ya`akov said to his sons, "Why are you staring at each other? 2 Look," he said, "I've heard that there's grain in Egypt. Go down there and buy some for us from there, so that we can stay alive and not die!" 3 Thus Yosef's ten brothers went down to buy grain from Egypt, 4 except for Binyamin, Yosef's brother. Ya`akov did not send him with his brothers, because he was afraid something might happen to him.
Genesis 42:5 The sons of Isra'el came to buy along with the others that came, since the famine extended to the land of Kena`an. 6 Yosef was governor over the land; it was he who sold to all the people of the land. Now when Yosef's brothers came and prostrated themselves before him on the ground, 7 Yosef saw his brothers and recognized them; but he acted toward them as if he were a stranger and spoke harshly with them. He asked them, "Where are you from?" They answered, "From the land of Kena`an to buy food." 8 So Yosef recognized his brothers, but they didn't recognize him.
Genesis 42:9 Remembering the dreams he had had about them, Yosef said to them, "You are spies! You've come to spot our country's weaknesses!" 10 "No, my lord," they replied, "your servants have come to buy food. 11 We're all the sons of one man, we're upright men; your servants aren't spies." 12 "No," he said to them, "you've come to spy out our country's weaknesses." 13 They said, "We, your servants, are twelve brothers, the sons of one man in the land of Kena`an; the youngest stayed with our father, and another one is gone."

Genesis 42:14 "Just as I said," replied Yosef, "you're spies! 15 Here's how you can prove you're not lying: as Pharaoh lives, you will not leave here unless your youngest brother comes here. 16 Send one of you, and let him bring your brother. Meanwhile, you will be kept in custody. This will prove whether there is any truth in what you say. Otherwise, as Pharaoh lives, you are certainly spies." 17 Then he put all of them together in prison for three days.
Genesis 42:18 On the third day, Yosef said to them, "Do what I say, and stay alive, for I fear G_d. 19 If you are upright men, let one of your brothers remain incarcerated in the prison you're being kept in, while you go and carry grain back to relieve the famine in your homes. 20 But bring your youngest brother to me. In this way your statements will be verified, and you won't die." So they did it. 21 They said to each other, "We are in fact guilty concerning our brother. He was in distress and pleaded with us; we saw it and wouldn't listen. That's why this distress has come upon us now."
Genesis 42:22 Re'uven answered them, "Didn't I tell you, `Don't wrong the boy'? But you wouldn't hear of it. Now comes the reckoning for his blood!" 23 They had no idea that Yosef understood them, since an interpreter was translating for them. 24 Yosef turned away from them and wept; then he returned and spoke to them. He took Shim`on from among them and put him in prison before their eyes. 25 Next he ordered that their containers be filled with grain, that every man's money be put back in his pack and that they be given provisions for the journey. When these things had been done for them, 26 they loaded their grain on their donkeys and departed.
Genesis 42:27 But at camp that night, as one of them opened his pack to give fodder to his donkey, he noticed his money — there it was, just inside his pack. 28 He said to his brothers, "My money has been restored — there it is, right in my pack!" At that, their hearts sank; they turned, trembling, to one another and said, "What is this that G_d has done to us?"
Genesis 42:29 They returned to Ya`akov their father in the land of Kena`an and told him all that had happened to them. 30 "The man, the lord of the land, spoke harshly with us. He took us for spies in his country. 31 We said to him, `We are upright men, we're not spies; 32 we are twelve brothers, sons of our father; one is gone, and the youngest stayed with our father in the land of Kena`an.' 33 But the man, the lord of the land, said to us, `Here is how I will know that you are upright men: leave one of your brothers with me, take grain to relieve the famine in your homes, and go on your way; 34 but bring your youngest brother to me. By this I will know that you aren't spies, but are upright men; then I will return your brother to you; and you will do business in the land.'"

Speaker 4 (02:49):
Hey, my name is Tria Man. I want to introduce
you to sun Oven. This is our all American son oven.
We've been making these for the last thirty five years.
We're in one hundred and twenty six different countries all
over the world. And basically we call this a solar
crot pot and it's used to be able to just
put your food in there and slow cook it with
the power of the sun. You can never burn, scorch
or dry anything out inside the sun Oven. Once you

(03:10):
put it in, the sun reflects all of these reflectors
in through the glass into the inner chamber and he
reaches temperatures between three hundred and three hundred and fifty degrees. Really,
the design is very simple. It's like the greenhouse effect.
If you got in your car during the summer and
it's really really hot. That's what's happening inside the Sun Oven.
You know, anything you cook in your regular oven, you
can cook inside the Sun Oven. You can use any

(03:31):
of your existing pots and pans if they'll fit in here,
you can cook with them in here, just like you
do in your regular oven. It's designed for you to
be able to cook your meal out with the power
of the sun. And literally the longer you kick stuff
in here, the more juicy and tender it is. So
that's a quick introduction to the Sun Oven.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Thank you, Yes, get the Sun Oven. Let them know
Watson from battlefl Freedom sent you and told you to
look into it. Because again another thing that I think
will be then teaches to you people freaking out about
the stock market and caraffs and everything else like that, Well,
this is something you can get internally, something that you
can buy within the United States that wasn't built or

(04:11):
created outside of the United States. But here, get yourself,
get yourself the son of and let them know that
Watson from battlefreem setting you one more because I love
this guy too.

Speaker 5 (04:22):
Hello, I'm doctor Lee at horizontal hive dot com. And
I keep this naturally. And then everything starts by catching
a local freeze swarm of honeybees. If you put a
small bee hive like that on the tree in the springtime,
just as birds move into brokehouses, bees will move into
a little high like that.

Speaker 6 (04:39):
After that, you take the frames, put them in a
bigger box. They expand they collect honey it from the
flowers and make good high from you for you.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
And it can be as.

Speaker 6 (04:48):
Simple as that. No sugar fitting, no chemical treatments. I'm
doing it for a living, and there are so many
people who do the same thing. You can learn more
in the book Keeping Bees with a Smile, And that's
exactly that, doing natural beekeeping and smiling the same time.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Natural beekeeping smiling the same time. Look into it, Horizontal Hive.
Trust me, you won't go wrong doing this. So let's
do this. Let's get into today, Nightmare day one. Things
getting out of hand. As I talked earlier, you know,
right now everyone's really enough fluster and really concerned about
the way that the stock market has been going in

(05:25):
the last week, and like your futures are coming to
an end. There's this need for a war, cry for help,
and everything else is possible. Wondering when's what's going to
look next, how are things going to change, how things
going to improve? And what's really interesting about this is

(05:45):
he's always been good and watching over us, and as
long as we're operating according to his word, is nothing
for us to fear, nothing for us to fear whatsoever.
So let's look at a couple of these things. Hey, Lisa,
shout out to you, and also a shout out to
my buddy Larry over there in the rumble verse. Thank
you for joining and being part of the program. This

(06:08):
is exciting to have everybody in part of the program.
But let's look into the starting verse for this, because
this is really cool stuff here, and I hope that
you can get this. Hey Carrie, thank you for joining
and being part of the program. The time is coming,
says ad An Eye, eloheen, when I will send famine
over the land, not a famine of bread or of

(06:32):
thirst water, but of hearing the words of add An Eye.
This is his idea of the spiritual starvation. Right now,
we're working worried about an economic collapse. But I'll tell
you what is worse than an economic collapse. What is
worse than a pandemic? What's worse than anything else that

(06:53):
you can imagine? Is is it a famine of the
truth in God's word? Where people and it's almost like
where they are right now. It's almost like where they
are right now as I've been wakened away from Churchianity.
I've walked away from Churchianity and just really want to

(07:15):
try and focus on, Okay, Lord, how can I be
better obedient to you? I'm gonna read your word and
I'm going to better see a lot of the terms
I glossed over in my systematic theology approach and and
really start getting to the bare bones, because guess what
when it's in the First Corinthians, chapter two, he says

(07:35):
he uses the weak simple to confound the wise and
all the high falute and stuff that I've gotten in
degrees and we not degrees, but education wise, it's it's all.
It was all meaningless. It was feutile, especially considering the
fact that my life didn't line up to the way
there was. There was a it was a famine. I

(07:56):
didn't realize how now nourished I because I didn't have
God's total word transforming me. I only had a cliff
Notes version of it. Truth be told. We've been operating
on a cliff Notes version for a very long time.
Truth be told.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
I love this.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
The time is coming, says that in Nielohim, when I
will send a famine over the land, not a famine
of bread or of thirst for water, but of hearing
the words of that or not. Let's continue in Genesis
chapter forty two, and let's see where the story takes us.
So here we are. We're dealing with now, Joseph. And

(08:43):
remember last year. Last year, last week was dealing with
the translation of the Dreams of Pharaoh. Seven years of want,
I mean the seven years of plenty, the seven years
of want. And honestly, while people have been people have
been sitting here waiting for the world to turn around

(09:04):
because of the new administration. Yes, some things are going
to change, but it takes time. I was talking to
a friend about this. You know, Jimmy Carter's administration was
a nightmare in America. High inflation, everything like that you
can imagine. But Reaganomics didn't fix everything within the first
couple of years. It took time. It took time to

(09:26):
get the ball moment moving. And my sincere concern is
that there are a lot of people right now who
are so eager for seeing this economic turn turn time
and in this silence, in this period of waiting for
things to really improve, not just at the border, not
just at our bank accounts, not just that, you know, anywhere.

(09:48):
It starts with us spiritually being renewed, a spiritual cleansing,
a spiritual diet. You know, just as like we're looking
at the carnivore. There has to be a spiritual There
has to be a torah diet, and not not tumutic nonsense.
Just read is word, hang out loud. It's not that difficult,

(10:13):
but we make it bigger than it really needs to be.
God's like, I'm here, if you're willing to listen, I'm here.
So let's take a look at this and see what
he has to say. Now, this is pretty cool with
respect to what we're going to In Genesis chapter forty two,
now Yakakov saw that there was there was grain in Egypt.

(10:34):
So Yakakov said to his sons, why are you staring
at each other? Look? He said, I've heard that there's
grain in Egypt. Go down there and buy some for
us from there, so that we can stay alive and
not die. Thus Joseph's ten brothers went down to buy
grain from Egypt, except for Benjamin. Your Joseph's brother, Yaakov

(10:57):
did not want did not send him with his brother
because he was afraid something might happen to him. And
this I call this as a time of reckoning where
sometimes we could be standing idle idly idly by not
worrying about in the midst of a famine, is standing

(11:19):
there looking at each other like what do we do next?
And the simple instructions are there to get up, move process,
do what's needed. And I believe that because we've been
so eager looking on political figures to change, whether you're
on the left or you're on the right, it doesn't
matter that people have been looking at these political figures

(11:41):
to bring about this this partisan utopia for us or
ideological utopia for us, that we have been sleeping and
sleeping at the wheel rather than taking control and doing
what needs to be done. That we are you know,
because I've been on this forever project of decluttering, decluttering
de decluttering right, and also, uh, I'll be.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
I'll I'll figure that out.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
I'll tell you more about it on Friday. As we
sit here and we watch this, these guys are just
they're just staring at each other, and the father's like,
what are you doing? Just standing there? We're gonna die
if you just sit there. It was Max's last name.
I'm a gentleman. I had a chance to interview who
was telling me about the spiritual famines that took place

(12:29):
even in the inception of this country, where people did
the potato famine, right, is that here or was it?
Oh Mac, what's the back last name? It'll come to
me later. But people were just they were content to
just let other people do the work for them rather
than do the work themselves. It was a disaster. And

(12:50):
we see that right now too, that there are people,
you know what, would rather work from home. Well, we'd
rather not work work at all. Like God saying it's
time for you to do something and get busy. It's
time to start providing. So it says that you know,
there's a time of reckoning that's happening, not just for
the brothers of Joseph, but also for all of us.

(13:15):
Whether we're in Torah or not, all of us there's
a reckoning that God is basically saying to us, how
were how did you? How did you basically manage your time,
your talent, your treasure? How did you manage your time
with me? To grow and appreciate everything that I've given you?

(13:36):
God sometimes has to slowly take things away from us
to finally get our attention so he can say, can
you hear me now? Well, I think that's what's happening
here where they're worried about food to live. But the
one most important thing that they need to be living
on Torah, his truth, his word. They haven't been living
up to it, because had they done so, there's a

(13:58):
lot of things that they would have done differ diferently
in life instead of just standing around staring at each other.
Staring at each other. So let's continue. This is pretty cool.
So further down we look at verses four uh verses
five through eight, that the sons of Israel came by

(14:21):
came to buy along with the others that came. Since
the famine extended to the land of Katanan Kanon, Joseph
was governor over the land. It was he who said
to all the people of the land. Now went uh
is he who sold to all the people of the land.
Now we're not gonna make these words. Why I'm a

(14:42):
little bit blindside. Sorry. Now, when Yosah's brothers came out,
came out and prostrated themselves before him on the ground,
Yoseph saw his brothers and recognize them, but he acted
toward them as if he were ranger and spoke harshly
with them. He asked them, where are you from? They answered,

(15:05):
from the land of Cannon to buy food. So Joseph
recognized his brothers, but they didn't recognize him. No, this
is returning to the scene of the crime. This is
returning to the sea of the crime. Now, it was
in the land of Cannon where they sold their brother
into slavery. Well, they threw him in was an assistern

(15:26):
first and then they basically sold them off to the coyotes.
The bad coyotes had come to find out. Now they're
in his presence. And the reason why I call this
a rotine return and returning to the scene of the
crime is because one Joseph, instead of just being straight

(15:49):
up honest, this is who I am. He's deceiving them.
He is. He literally has the higher ground, the moral
high because yeah, they did him wrong, and he could
play this out, he could play charades, he could play
games for a long time. But he's he's bearing false

(16:12):
witness to who he is. He could solve the problem,
but he's gonna play this little charade for a while.
Which again, it's unfortunate that I think almost this like
of Edmond Dantes, Count monte Cristo getting revenge. I have
the power. And what's so sad about this idea of

(16:33):
the returning to the scene of the crime is that
they're standing in front of their brother that they did
wrong and they can't even recognize him. That's when you
know that the hardness in your heart, the sadness in
your heart here is that you when you can't even
recognize family right in front of you, well you you

(16:54):
can't see that God has changed changed you so much,
so radicale and for the better to be in a
position where you could be a blessing to others. And
they still don't see the they don't see how they
mistreated you, they don't see how they've done you wrong.

(17:15):
They're just too blinded because all they see you as
a means to an end, rather than actually being family
or friend. They mean to rhyme that, but it just
came out here. It is they can't even recognize that
their own flesh and blood is there with them. You know,

(17:38):
I've looked at how I looked thirty years ago. It's
not I look almost similar, probably a lot more hair
and gray than I did back then, but it's not
difficult to see who I was. Oh ssh, I still
had the hair. But either way, it's just it's mind

(17:59):
nummy that they could be in the presence and if
I didn't say hello, Caerry, thank you, thank you for joining.
It's mind numbing that they could be in the presence
of their own kin and not recognize who was standing
before them. Just something else. Joseph is playing. Joseph is
playing his games of tricking his brothers. But at same

(18:20):
time too, it shows that if the word of truth
was truly in them, they would be so they wouldn't
be so lacking and discernment. Because again I think of
their grandfather Isaac, Their their grandfather Isaac, who was blind
at the Blessing of Esau, which happened to be, which

(18:43):
happened to be his brother. It was his brother who
was Yaakov, your father, the trickster, who wound up getting
the blessing because the father, because the father was too blind,
he was dull in his senses to be discerning to
what's going on. Same here, dull in their senses to

(19:03):
recognize what's happening right before their eyes, dull in their senses,
Clear and simple, folks, there's no other way around it,
Oh Lord, to help us, forgive us when we are
that blinded Verse nine. Remembering the dreams he had had
about them, Joseph said to them, you are spies. You've

(19:27):
come to spot out our country's weakness. No, my lord,
they replied, your servants have come to buy food. We're
all the sons of one man. We're upright, men. Your
servants aren't spies. No, he said to them, you've come
to spy out our country, country's weaknesses. They said to him,
we are servants. Twelve brothers, sons of sons of one

(19:51):
man in the land of Cannon. The youngest stayed with
our father, and another is gone. Stretching the truth a
little bit here, because again Joseph is keeping up the charade.
He's keeping up the charade. He could solve this right now,
but he doesn't want to because of the fact that

(20:11):
he's too busy playing this game with them. But the
one that really gets me on what they said about
charades at all. Hey, Carolyn, thank you for joining to
be a part of the program. This is the one
that gets me out of this whole dialogue. It's just
this one line that just really really bothers me. Verse eleven,

(20:32):
he says, we're all the sons of one man. We're
upright men something of something, Chief and I and we
have our discussions. One of the things that just cracks
me up when he says, listen, you don't have to

(20:55):
say you know, you're a certain characteristics. You don't have
to prop yourself up. It'll be visible by other people.
Other people will see who you are and basically they'll
they'll be the definers of who you are by your character,
by your actions. But when we have to say, uh yeah,

(21:18):
like I love always in church yanity where people say
to me, I'm a very humble person, Like, I don't
think you fully understand that statement, because if you're really humble,
you don't have to say you're humble. If you try
to prop up your characteristics. They should speak for you

(21:38):
rather than you speaking for you. It's like a person,
you know, they're they're walking into a hall, a great
hall of kings and nobles, and they stand at the
front of the door and they act as the herald
now coming me. One second they run back out of
the room to walk into the room to arab hold themselves.

(22:01):
And that's what we sound like when we basically say,
you know what, Hey, I'm a decent person. I'm a
humble person. Yes, I'll let you stretch that out and
have fun with the way people say things that they
are but they're not. And I think that's the unfortunate
part about it, too, is Matthew five to sixteen says,

(22:24):
let your light so sign before men that they see
your good works and give honor and glory to God
when they the Lord says the tree. You should know
a tree by the fruit it bears. And so when
we sit here and we have to prop ourselves up,

(22:45):
we're doing it wrong. We're honestly doing it wrong. And
I tell you it's a nightmare. It's a nightmare to
be in that situation. And the reason why I put
nightmare is because this is the culmination of the dreams
of Joseph. But sometimes times we could be in the
middle of a nightmare and we don't fully understand what's
going on. That's why I say nightmare day one. Things

(23:07):
getting out of hand. Joe, they're hungry, The brothers are
doing nothing. Jo Yahako sends them down to go get
some food so they don't die. Joseph is playing, Joseph
is playing a game before them, and they're lying, prepping
up their characteristics, talking about the whole idea that they're
up right. And I think it's like even as they're

(23:33):
speaking and can trying to share the truth, it's like
when the Lord finally helps us to start speaking the
correct way, we start acknowledging things about ourselves. Let's start
bringing about conviction, that really start bringing about conviction and

(23:53):
something else. Just as I said, Just as I said,
replied Joseph, you are spies. Here's how you can prove
you're not lying. As Pharaoh lives. You will not leave
here unless your youngest brother comes here. Send one of
you and let him bring your brother. Meanwhile, you will

(24:15):
be kept in custody. This will prove whether there is
any truth in you, in what you say, otherwise, as
Pharaoh lives, you are certainly spies. And he put all
of them together in prison for three days, a short
sentence for sin. This is a short sentence for sin

(24:38):
for what they did to their brother. And given the
fact too is if they mistreated his younger brother the
way that they mistreated him, they're basically getting a little taste.
And what's really interesting too on this is it that
they were put in prison for three days. What's really

(24:58):
interesting that a huge difference in this language here is
that it wasn't mentioned if whether it was Pharaoh's prison.
We don't know whether or not, because when it was
mentioned earlier about Pharaoh's prison, we literally had to think,
is this a political prison? Is this like the j

(25:20):
sixers prison where you hide people who can hurt you.
But no, he just says he put them all together
in prison for three days, So this could probably have
been a harsher prison. And if they had done to
their if they had treated Benjamin the way they treated Joseph, oh,

(25:42):
they rightly deserve to be in this prison. And he's like,
but I'm gonna let you mold it over for three days.
I'm gonna give you a few days to really think
about if you really want to stay there for the
rest of your life. I want you to know what
it feels like to be just thrown in to a prison,
thrown into a crypt, thrown into darkness with no hope.

(26:05):
When you lose, you lose all hope and identity in
who you are, because that's what will happen in real prisons.
They strip away everything you think about who you are
or who you were and get you to focus on
the real deal, the real you and the person that
brought you to there in the first place, not the

(26:27):
spas that we have today, not not the federal what
do they call them, Federal holiday inns or whatever. And
either way, when you're in real prison, you have time
to think about your actions and what you do. And
the Lord is basically trying to show many of us
we've been in prison for a very long time, and

(26:49):
for some strange reason, as long as we've been there,
we have not waken up. We have not reformed our thinking.
And I'm not talking about Reformation theology, I'm not talking
about Protestant movements. I'm saying, get it back to the
basics of what God's word says without requiring high falutin degrees,
just common sense, common sense. I mean, we're marveled at

(27:12):
what Doge is exposing God's words, exposed God's true word
in Torah, starting from Genesis all the way through Revelation.
The whole thing has been exposing things about us, our behaviors,
and so much more. Not the cliff notes version has
been pushed out by Churchianity, Lord saying I want to

(27:34):
expose you because if you really want to be with me,
if you because my sheep hear my voice, and when
I'm speaking, I speak all my word. You don't believe me,
listen to what you're going to hear. And saw one
during the intermission between the two you know, between the
two parts of this program, sorry, the two segments, God

(27:59):
is calling us, trying to wake us up right now.
And this is a short sentence for what they did
to their brother, and if they mistreated their their other brother,
this is a short sentence. And even for us right now,
what we've been going through, we feel like there's no hope,
We feel like everything is going to financially fall apart
for us, and and we've been experiencing short sentences for

(28:21):
God from God and here's here's the here's the here's
the beauty in this. If we're still alive and breathing,
the Lord has actually given us a chance to turn around.
It's reformation time, people, It's reformation time. Time for us
to put away our fullish, foolishness, our foolish deeds, and

(28:42):
say to the Lord, I'm here forgive me, guide me
and direct me. Fuck you on the flip side.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
Some one verse one, how blessed are those who reject
the advice of the wicked? Don't stand on the way
of sinners, or sit where the scoffers sit. I love
this because it's basically saying that the person does not
want to associate with wickedness in any way, from hearing,
standing near, associating, nor being comfortable enough to rest in

(29:23):
its presence. First two says their delight is innatornized Torah
on his tor They meditate day and night. In other words,
they love the teachings of God, and this is what
they think about day and night. They are like trees
planted by the streams. They bear their fruit in season.
They are leaves, never wither. Everything they do succeeds. First

(29:46):
tree is basically hinting that there's life in them, and
it's not murky, stagnant water that passes by them or
fills them. It's flowing, life giving, clean water. But verse
four says, not so the wicked, who are like chaff
driven by the wind. Chaff. It's a substitute or it
looks like or an imitation of wheat that has no

(30:07):
substance and has no value, and it's easily manipulated. For
this reason, the wicked won't stand up to the judgment,
nor will sinners at the gathering of the righteous. In
other words, there is no hope for those who reject
the teachings of Adenin, who reject his tora. They will
not be able to stand, even though they think that
their gods, the lord of creation, will humble them verse six.

(30:31):
For Adenai watches over the way of the righteous, but
the way of the wicked is doomed. In other words,
if our goal is to reject Adenai, his teachings, his torah,
his rule, his order, that means that we will suffer
the consequences of living in no order and complete chaos,

(30:53):
facing his wrath for eternity. Why because we rejected his
truth triggering change one heartbeat at a time. Battle for Freedom.

Speaker 2 (31:18):
Welcome back everyone. I'm your host Watson Premier from Battle
for Freedom on Modria Fiber Radio. Today. I'm having a
conversation with you from Genesis, chapter thirty forty two, talking
about a nightmare in day one, things getting out of hand.
As we sit there and we talk about this about
things getting out of hand, and it's really sad because
of the fact that we don't think of what the
Lord is doing. Things are really out of hand in

(31:42):
this country right now. Things are out of hand. And
not just at the federal level, the state level, the
county level, city level, the village level. It's even in
our homes, in our lives and our marriages, and our
parenting and our being children. It's in every aspect of
society right now. We have a lot of activities that

(32:04):
drown us out to our sin right now, right now,
there are a lot of people who are focused on bunnies.
I've focused on bunnies, and a lot of activity that's
been done that insinuates that we're doing something for the Lord.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
What it like this.

Speaker 2 (32:21):
I've seen even the memes that shows the door or
the stone rolled away. The stone rolled away because he's
risen and the bunny is splattered against the wall. I've
seen pictures of Santa Claus kneeling.

Speaker 1 (32:40):
At the.

Speaker 2 (32:43):
Not the troth, but you know, kneeling before the born
Savior sent to die for our sins. Those means seem
like they're cute, but they're falsehood. They're alive. Why because
it's it's bringing a truth, is bringing a falsehood to
the truth. Well, there's also too the Santa Claus kneeling

(33:09):
before the baby Jesus is also a lie because of
the fact that the focus is on saying that he
was born on December twenty fifth, which is not the case.
But that right there is just the lie of putting
Santa a lie in front of the baby Yeshua. We

(33:30):
don't know when he was born. We know he was born,
but the fact that we're so eager to try and
make even Santa bow the knee make a lie about
the way that the lie doesn't live is you stop
talking about it. It's like, what was either Morgan Freeman
or Denzel Washington was interviewed one time, and it's like,

(33:54):
how do we end There's Morgan Freeman. It's like, how
do we end racism? In America? Is it stopped talking
about it? How do we end Santa Claus? How do
we end all this stuff in the church? Stop pushing
the lie. And even the idea of the bunny being
squashed by the stone rolled over it still brings life

(34:15):
to the lie of the bunny inn Ishtar. We can
better understand what Passover is as we just read his word,
not Ishtar, not Easter, Passover. Understand the beauty of it,

(34:36):
not this lie. I remember I was at a church
where literally I was given a carton of eggs, of
multicolored eggs and said, this is how we can communicate
the Gospel message to these kids in ways that they
can learn and understand. I'm like, what about just reading
the Bible? What about just reading his word? We don't

(35:01):
need multi colored eggs. But these gimmicks are being done
before our kids. And our kids don't live on gimmicks,
like we don't live on gimmicks. Well, actually society does
live on gimmicks. We have a lot of entertainment and
all these other different things that gets us believing that
we're being informed and educated, being misled so easily, and

(35:26):
watch the way that we do it. The children inside
of churches, inside of the houses of God, alleging to
worship and praise Yahweh with everything with heart, soul, mind,
and strength. And we're not even no, it's just it's crazy, Carolyn.
If the buddy lays chocolate eggs, don't eat them. Yes, seriously,

(35:48):
do you have here of cowpies? Block? I remember those
dumb commercials, Holy buly Block. Lord forgive us, Lord, forgive us.
When we sit here, we get to see to push
up this foolishness for so long. That's that's the reason

(36:09):
for this. That's the reason for this graphic here. That's
the reason for this graphic because the fact that we have, yes,
we have for so long and entertained foolishness that we're
on and we are on fire and out in the
middle of a desert and we don't even recognize it.
We're on fire in the middle of a desert and

(36:31):
don't even recognize it. Lord forgive us. Let's get back
to Let's get back to this and see what the
Lord has to say. So this short sentence or sin,
let's continue. This is a time for reflection. This is
really good, spected Joseph. Yeah, oh no, well just yeah,

(36:54):
you gotta check us out verse eighteen. On the third day,
Yoseph said to them, do what I say and stay alive,
or I fear God. If you are upright, men, let
one of your brothers remain incarcerated in the prison you

(37:14):
are being kept in while you are going, While you
go and carry grain back to relieve the famine in
your homes. But bring your youngest brother to me. In
this way, your statement will be verified and you won't die.
So they did it, They said to each other, we

(37:35):
are in fact guilty concerning our brother. He was in
distress and pleaded with us. We saw it and would
not listen. That's why this distress has come upon us now.
A time of reflection. This is I mean introspection, nice
high falutin time, A big word for that. Introspection, looking within,

(37:56):
reviewing the things that we have done, what could have
led us to the point. And sometimes we could be
so arrogant as to believe that, and I've been there,
believe that I've lived such a good Christian life. I've
done nothing to contribute to what's going on for me
right now. And sometimes it's not just what we did

(38:18):
in the last week, the last month, the last year,
the last decade, it could be the last century that
we did things. And the Lord's basically saying it's time
to uproot those things that were in you, that still
have taken root in your life that you can't let go.

(38:38):
The reason why you can't move forward is because you're
too busy holding on to things in the past that
you don't want to let go. I'm trying to free
and sometimes the Lord will go through some real deep
surgery to remove those things that are that are really

(38:59):
counter productive, that are hurting us internally, and he wants
us to do that reflection. That's the reason why his
word is there. And it's a perfect mirror. When we
open up his word and we see his truth and
it shines back and shows us a real picture of
who we are. We slow everything down, we stop the activities,

(39:20):
we stop, stop all the busyness and everything like that,
and we really start seeing who we are. We should
really be bothered. We should never read his word and
come out on top feeling like, Yep, I've arrived. Yeah,
the world's blessed just to have you here. Hi, I

(39:41):
have the best things of slice bread. I don't think so,
I don't think so it is once, once, once the
Lord gets our attention and we start recognizing what he's
telling us to do, that's when we really awaken. But
if we don't, oh got a life of prison. Imprisonment

(40:05):
will be incarcerated physically, spiritually, emotionally, and any other ali
you can add to it. That's what we will do.
We will be an ally to whatever foolishness is that
we have not let go, because God is taking down
every pillar of our pride and foolishness. He's taking down

(40:28):
every pillar of pride and foolishness in our hearts, and
he's basically telling us rise, rise out of the ashes
of your hubris and your arrogance. It's trying to reflect
and repent as if not the worst is yet to come.
So they're convicted. And this is when it really starts,

(40:54):
because when we really start changing our words, our actions
really start to move people when they see the change
in our lives. Rho have been answered, answered them, didn't
I tell you don't wrong the boy? But you wouldn't
hear it. You wouldn't hear of it. Now comes a
time of reckoning for his blood. See that because it

(41:15):
didn't take too much time it didn't take too much
time for them to recognize three days, three days living
like their brother did in that cistern. Oh, things, things,
things were probably really made real for them, things of

(41:36):
and sometimes. You know how we love to say you
reap what you sew to people. Don't be so eager
to say that. I don't think that's something that we
should say so nonchalantly. I think that we love to
say it to our political foes are the people who
are not in alignment with us from a political ideology

(41:57):
we loved. We want them to reap from the Lord.
Don't be so eager to ask for that. Don't be
eager for the Lord of truth, justice, creation, the Lord
of life and all that exists, seen and seen and unseen.
Don't be so eager to dish out his judgment upon people,

(42:18):
because remember this judgment that awaits us as well. If
there are things in our lives that we don't want
to let go, there's strongholds that we just continue to
allow to dominate our lives. He deals with us, all
of us. So stop deceiving ourselves when that true introspection
comes to pass. Oh, there's a change, there's a change

(42:40):
of you. There's a change, because, like I laugh at
that show called The View, I'm like, you don't have
a view. You just basically want to present your your
your a misguided form of truth without ever even no
matter how much truth is predident presented before you, you
hold to your guns and you stay. Literally, we could
weal up called them a bunch of cackling hens, but

(43:02):
it'll be very funny if when the Lord shows us,
when we're reading his word, how much we're just like
the members of the View that distorted that distorted TV show.
We're just like them, but we don't want to hear
it because we've arrogantly believed that we would we wouldn't
be caught up by God's judgment, his wrath. They had

(43:27):
no idea Yoseph understood them since an interpreter was translating
for them. Yoseph turned away from them, and he wept,
and then wept. Yeah. Then he returned and spoke to them. Yeah,
there are people who have done me wrong, and some
of them have had the some of them I remember

(43:50):
kid who did me wrong in high school. Uh, he
put on you can't see right now, but there's a
whole night chin that happened when I was a sophomore
in high school. Busted my chin wide open. I remember
so many years ago he reached out to me just
to apologize, and it it always touches me to reflect

(44:17):
on what it took as it was. This is like
almost twenty eight years after everything happened. He did it
twenty eight years later. Yeah, it's still. It's still. I've
got the scar when I when I don't have a beard. Oh,

(44:40):
you can see the scar, But it was a deeper
scar within my heart that was truly healed upon his
ability to rise up and say, please, forgive me for
what I did to you. It's an emotional when when
we truly are are and didn't. It can bring those

(45:03):
who we've hurt to tears, tears of healing. Some of
them they have other issues to deal with when they
can't receive it, and sometimes it takes time for them
to heal from the damage. But we must start that process.
We're required to. He took Chimeon from among them and

(45:23):
then put him in prison before their eyes. Next, he
ordered that their containers be filled with grain, that every
man man's money be put back in his back his pack,
and that they be given provisions for the journey. When
these things had been done for them, they loaded their
grain on their donkeys and departed. I mean you want

(45:45):
to talk about example of grace, uh, buddy Cobbits, I
mean you want to talk about examples of grace. They
didn't deserve the kindness that I was giving to them,
only three day sentence of jail. And then you get
you're being sent away with supplies to help the people

(46:08):
back at home because you know what, they had nothing
to do with your treachery. And sometimes grace will happen
in our lives, not because for us, but for the
people who are entrusted to our care, because they should
not be sufferers of our our lack of repentance and
our lack of changing our lives. It's just sad, but

(46:40):
we don't, we don't. Things are getting out of hand
and we still don't understand why. And I'm telling you
is because the fact that we're living in a nightmare.
It seems like things aren't getting better because we haven't
woken up. We haven't woken up from the dream. And
the dream is Churchianity. The dream is complacency. The dream
is spiritual placency or or a spiritual atrophy. We've been

(47:06):
playing their routine for so long we don't even realize
the deadness in our boy. That's the reason why the
Leah Shewa could call the Pharisees white washed tombs, white
washed tombs, because are the deadness in them. You really
thought that they were doing something for God, but grace,

(47:29):
but grace, oh Lord, A lawyer for your grace, A
lawyer for your grace, Verse twenty seven. But I camped
that night, as one of them opened his pack to
give fodder to his donkey, he noticed his money there.

(47:50):
It was just inside his pack. He said to his brothers,
my money has been restored there. It is right in
my back, in my pack. At that their hearts sank.
They turned trembled to one another and said, what is
this that God has done to us? See here's one
of the things is really important about this. You remember

(48:11):
I talked about it last week. Joseph was put in
charge to put these grain mills around Egypt that no
one knew where they were, and the stuff wasn't to
be given out for free. They had to pay for it.
So this guy is sitting here, this wasn't one of
those like soup kitchens or anything like that. This wasn't

(48:33):
a soup kitchen. This was an actual transaction that took place,
and the money he paid for the grain. See, because
here's the other thing too. People just think automatically, Oh yeah,
God just restored him and gave him all this stuff. No, no,
they paid for it. They paid for it. We would
never need our modern day soup kitchens if we did

(48:55):
so many different things better. One, if we did the
instruction of helping people no budgets know how to live,
try and live beneath their means. Two, if we didn't
have these big edifices that cost us half a million
to twelve to one hundred million dollars that are sitting

(49:16):
there throughout the week, requiring utilities, requiring taxes, requiring maintenance.

Speaker 1 (49:24):
All that.

Speaker 2 (49:25):
That's all these big, huge facilities that are sitting there
as big boat anchors of our pride, these million dollars,
multimillion dollar endeavors. That money could have been better used to. Maybe, Hey,
let's not have this big, huge building that we're worshiping in.
Why don't we just turn around and have these church
homes that were worshiping in. And the money that's brought

(49:48):
in everyone's need can be met, because that's the part
that I never understood. How is it that someone who
could literally be giving, because I've experienced it giving free
years at church and right wing you need it the most.
You have to go before a faculty for review on
whether or not you can get funds back from the

(50:09):
church that you've been physically laboring at, physically donating to,
financially donating, to giving emotionally in so many different areas.
But you've got to go before a court board or
before a board of review in order to find respite.
What how do we ever get to that point? We're

(50:36):
paying for these buildings, the big huge boat anchors. I mean,
you want to talk about a liability to the church
and the body, but in our pride, we don't want
to see it. We continue on. Let's continue on. Their

(50:56):
conviction is a point is a point of know it's
conviction that comes in and the Lord's like, are you
are you? Can you hear me?

Speaker 1 (51:04):
Now?

Speaker 2 (51:06):
Can you hear me now? Verse twenty nine and twenty nine. Sorry,
Then it returned to Yakov, their father in the land
of Canon, and told him all that happened to them.
The man, the Lord of the land spoke harshly with us.
He took us for spies in his country. They said

(51:26):
to him, we are upright men. Lie and the light
detective proves that that was a lie. We're not spies.
We are twelve brothers, sons of our father. One is
gone in the youngest stayed with our father in the
land of Canon. But the man, the lord of the land,
said to relieve the famine in your homes and go

(51:48):
on your way, but bring your youngest brother to me.
By this I will know that you aren't spies, but
our upright men. Then I will return your brother to you,
and you will do business in the land again. Check
us out. So they go back to their father and
they let them know everything that's try and transpired. And
they haven't told them about jail yet. They haven't told

(52:10):
them about how severe jail was. I don't know if
they ever really got into that, because they'd probably the
response that happens next would have probably been different if
they knew about everything that took place from the imprisonment.
The incarceration for three days, because there are times that

(52:31):
people need to be healed. There are times that people
need to be healed and it depends on how truthful
we want to be. So many, so many men have
been broken, not by from the system outside or the

(52:54):
system inside church walls, the system inside buying churchy in
ideas and ideology that have left men and women in
bondage because of bad doctrines. Because of this doctrine of
hyper grace, it says, tolerate bad behavior at the costs

(53:18):
of your emotional, spiritual, physical, mental well being. The churches
has counseled people into bondage rather than freedom, because last
time I checked, the word says, where the spirit of
the Lord is, there is liberty. There's not bondage. There's liberty.

(53:39):
There is freedom, not a freedom to do whatever you want,
but a freedom from the lies and deceptions of the world.
Because we understand the boundaries that the Lord has set
for us, and we're content to live within those boundaries
because it avoids us walking into traps and snares laid
out in the world seeking to devour us. God has

(54:01):
set up boundaries. He set up boundaries, He set up
emotional boundaries, mental boundaries, and so much more, even boundaries
within marriage, boundaries within family, and when we decide to
go outside those boundaries. That's when disaster strikes. But we don't.

(54:21):
We don't, we don't want listen. And and because we
favor one way over the other, and their consequences to that,
their consequences to us favoring and not being impartial like
the Lord absorbing his truth and seeking to learn and
live according to his truth. They they they didn't tell

(54:49):
them everything, which is which is an unfortunate, fortunate circumstance
here because if they did, this problem could have been
resolved a lot sooner. And right now we don't. We
I'm going to continue to promote, continue to promote Torah.
Now you can many of you can foolishly believe that
I'm promoting talmutic Torah without sitting down and actually having

(55:13):
questions with me saying, hey, Watson, what are you talking
about here? You can continue to assume that I'm doing
talmutic Torah. But I'm just reading God's word, folks, not
going to continue to read his word. So I'm going
to stop all the foolishness I was doing before. No

(55:34):
matter how good I thought I sounded, I was saying nothing.
Yakov has not changed. See, because again, had they told
them everything. The incarceration the money in the bag, pick
us out. Next, as they emptied their packs, there was

(55:59):
each man's bag of money in his pack. And when
they said to their father, yeah, And when they and
their father saw their bags of money, they became afraid. Now,
this is the part about it is he's just looking
at the money. He doesn't if they had just told

(56:20):
him that they were imprisoned, that they were incarcerated, that
they were in jail for three days. Because it's very
interesting that we never hear discussions. What took you so
long to get back here? It took a lot longer
than normal with this simple trip. It shouldn't have been
that difficult. But they're so busy focusing on what pharaohs

(56:43):
would Joseph said, the lord of the land, he never
told them about the incarceration. I tell you. Had Joseph
known this, he would understand that grace was happening. For
a level of grace is happening that I can't figure out.
And then all of a sudden things will start falling
into line, the pieces, the things would start to unveil itself.

(57:05):
If we just started with the truth. Yakakov's their father
said to them, you have robbed me of my children,
me of my children. Joseph is gone, Shimion is gone.
Now you're taking being him in a way, it all
falls It all falls on me. Reuven said to his father,

(57:29):
if I don't bring him back to you, you can
kill my own two sons. Put him in my care.
I will return him to you. But he replied, my
son will not go down with you. His brother is
dead and he alone is left. If anything were to
happen to him while traveling with you, you would bring
me down. You would bring my gray hair down to

(57:51):
Shiol with grief. This is the part where it's unfortunate
that even now Yaakov is blinded. He's blinded just like
his father, who he played tricks on. Get this, the
father is being tricked that he's he has lost the

(58:16):
sight of discernment. He's lost the sight of discernment that
he can't understand what's happening with him. There are signs,
there are breadcrumbs that try and let him understand. Guess what,
what you believe in your mind does not line up
with reality. But you have to be exposed to the truth.

(58:37):
And as you are led down the path of truth,
you'll come to a realization that things aren't as bad
as you thought they were, or there is hope, there
is a silver lining, there is light at the end
of the tunnel. What is truth? Usually associated with light,
that we bring light to a matter. But as long

(58:59):
as people say stay in the darkness and they don't
have the truth, it's easier for them to be deceived.
Lord forgive us when we don't rise out of the
asian that we Lord, please forgive us. It's so sad

(59:21):
Joseph did not wake up. Joseph did not realize that
what was happening to him, and I think that the
same is for all of us. The Lord is trying
to wake us up right now. It's the time for
us to hear the truth and rise out of the
ashes of our ignorance, rebellion, and just downright defiance against him.

(59:42):
This truth speaks louder than we can ever imagine. It's
time for us to hear him.

I interview experts, celebrities, thought leaders and athletes so that we can grow our mindset, build better habits and uncover a side of them we’ve never seen before. New episodes every Monday and Friday. Your support means the world to me and I don’t take it for granted — click the follow button and leave a review to help us spread the love with On Purpose. I can’t wait for you to listen to your first or 500th episode!
