In this week’s Bet the Board podcast, Todd Fuhrman and Payne Insider broke down the highs and lows from the NFL slate, plus an intriguing prop bet for Monday Night Football.
Good:
The Bills were back in form, delivering a balanced, dynamic performance on both sides of the ball. The Commanders offense showed real progress under Jayden Daniels impressing with strong execution. On defense, the Seahawks made a statement, shutting down a high-powered attack. Bryce Young and Carolina’s offense also earned praise for their improvement, as the QB continues to find his rhythm.
Bad:
It wasn’t a good week for Kirk Cousins, whose costly mistakes derailed his team. Special teams weren’t spared either, with Justin Tucker missing another field goal at a critical moment. The Ravens offense continued to struggle with consistency and execution in the red zone. Meanwhile, the Jets failed to gain any momentum offensively, leaving fans with more questions than answers.
Ugly:
The Bengals’ defense was exposed, unable to make key stops when it mattered most. The Chiefs, usually dominant, looked uncharacteristically out of sync, sparking concerns about their playoff readiness.
Browns at Broncos Prop Pick:
For Monday Night Football, Billy highlighted a prop bet for all to consume.

Cardiac Cowboys
The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
