Tijdens de allereerste Tienerleesweek, van 12 t/m 16 mei 2025, staat lezen centraal, voor én met tieners. In deze speciale podcastaflevering, boordevol inspiratie en leesplezier, hoor je hoe de Tienerleesweek van start ging in Bibliotheek Den Haag met leerlingen van het Maerlant-Lyceum uit Den Haag.
De leerlingen gingen in gesprek met schrijver Marco Kunst over zijn werk, zijn inspiratiebronnen, hoe zijn schrijfproces eruitziet en welke boeken hij zelf als tiener verslond. Ze deelden bovendien hun eigen favoriete boeken.
Anne van Mechelen, docent Nederlands en oprichter van het platform Lang Leve Lezen, vertelt over het doel van de Tienerleesweek en geeft praktische tips en lessuggesties voor in de klas. Liesbeth Bouman, programmaleider bij Bibliotheek Den Haag, sluit aan met aanvullende ideeën om tieners te enthousiasmeren voor lezen.
De aflevering bestaat uit twee delen: het eerste deel (tot 11:30 minuten) richt zich op docenten, mediathecarissen en bibliothecarissen. Het tweede deel (vanaf 11:35) – het gesprek met Marco Kunst – is ook interessant voor tieners zelf.
