Violinist Andy Troska (13) and guitarist Xavier Jara (14) played Paganini's "Centone di Sonate for Violin and Guitar, Op. 64, No. 1" at The House of Mercy in St. Paul in May. They also played at the Open Stage and qualified to play the piece at the Youth Guitarathon at the University of Minnesota.

Dad and I went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Bishop one weekend at the old house in West Concord. As I remember, Grandpa was watching baseball on t.v. and Grandma was writing a column for the local newspaper. As it turns out, we ended up in the newspaper simply because we had visited them that weekend!
