My fellow Americans, P.T. Barnum once famously said, there is a “sucker born every minute.”

I have always been a skeptic of the State, and the powers that they hold. It is incredible the power not only the media bears, but also the local state and especially the federal governments. Since initial reports of the coronavirus under the codename COVID-19 started coming out of the woodwork in January, the response on social media has ranged widely from hilarious memes, measured caution to unmitigated panic. Based on the findings of the CDC, (which is a government agency), released on March 6th 2020, so far, the Coronavirus has led to more than 100,000 illnesses and over 3,000 deaths worldwide.  As the United States has only experienced 70.  But that's nothing compared to the flu, also called influenza, in perspective.  JUST in the US alone, the flu has caused an estimated 34 million illnesses.  Close to half a million hospitalizations.  And 20,000 deaths this season.  Now I ask you, are we not putting the cart before the horse?

According to Rolling Stone Magazine Global stocks have plummeted, and although cases in China are falling, there are at least 545 cases of coronavirus in the United States, with at least 22 patients dying from the illness. Don’t get me wrong I truly believe there is a virus out their harming people. But to what extent? How many more people have to have their businesses mandatorily shut down?  How many more people have to lose their jobs?   Whats next? Curfews? Searches, forced vaccines? The possibilities seem endless.  Personally, I have seen more families harmed by the loss of their employment due to the fact of forced mandatory government closures versus the amount of people that I know who are infected with the virus, which is a big fat 0.
