POWERFUL and EFFECTIVE PRAYER

In 2000, I received a call from the Bible College I was attending, stating that I was past due on my tuition. This was hard to understand because I thought I had received a full scholarship when I was admitted to the college. I told the College that I would have to stop attending and work off my debt, before I would be able to come back. I called my pastor, he prayed that God would move Heaven and Earth to work this situation out. Later that day, I received a call from the college, stating that they would apply a portion of my current student loan to the past due bill. This would allow me to continue attending. And I would not have to stop attending. In 2001, my car was hit on the way to work by an uninsured driver. I was overwhelmed with the fact that I had lost income due to the accident. And now I had to cover my insurance deductible and a percentage of the rental car cost. Again, I called my pastor and we prayed about the situation. Later that day, when speaking to the insurance company they said my insurance covered lost wages. These wages helped me to pay the deductible and cost of car rental. James 5:16 states, The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. If you are right with God, you have a 100 percent greater chance of Him answering your prayer.
