Meta, the parent company of Facebook, was hit with a major court ruling which opens the door for future lawsuits involving the company's liability for not safeguarding children from its social media platforms.

Meta and other social media companies have conducted studies which show the addictive nature of their platforms on children.  And yet, not only were the reports ignored, but algorithms were developed to exploit the addiction.
