Het is een vergelding op de aanvallen die Amerika het afgelopen weekend heeft uitgevoerd op Iraanse nucleaire installaties. Iran zegt ook een Amerikaanse basis in Irak te hebben aangevallen, maar Irak spreekt dit tegen. Qatar meldt geen slachtoffers. Wel zegt het land het recht te hebben om te reageren.
