King Bookie is back with her college friend , Chantelle B. to discuss everything under the sun from hilarious college memories, business resources, and unfortunate instances with DEI in organizations. Although we still don’t understand why we as black women continuously pursue degrees after wild experiences, it works for us . (As well as an open and honest therapist.)

The court extends a congratulations to Chantelle Broughton as she obtains her doctoral degree in May. This episode is dedicated to Mr. D and other staff members and professionals along our journey that made it a safe space.

Some Life Lessons for the court:

-All things black because rounded representation matters.

- Use your network and resources to solidify your personal community.

- Life/Career/Education can get a lil’ messy so, your counterparts may be medicated.

- We’ve all slid down the wall, but not at work.

- Always foster “old you” as “Old you” is your core. Your first mind is your life changer.

- Passive Income + Family assists with the road to build generational wealth.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
