Han
har gjort det igen: Moderaternes formand Lars Løkke Rasmussen er klar med endnu
en overraskende bog, denne gang med titlen 'Befrielsens pris'. Modsat den
dystre stemning, som statsminister Mette Frederiksen (S) ofte fremmaner, er
udenrigsministeren optimist. Han tror på ungdommen. Han tror på en gylden
fremtid for Danmark, og han tror sågar på fred og fremgang i verden. Men
optimismen er betinget af reformer, og heraf prisen: Det er ikke altid populært
i øjeblikket at træffe modige beslutninger.
Bogen er oplagt en del af Moderaternes kampagne frem mod Europaparlamentsvalget, hvor Venstres top også har sat en offensiv i gang: Formand Troels Lund Poulsen og næstformand Stephanie Lose vil rykke Venstre tilbage til en mere klassisk model – med fokus på økonomiske reformer og en fortsat værdipolitisk strammerkurs.
