You have to decide who you want to be before you can find yourself, and you have to find yourself before you can start loving yourself. No one likes to admit that they are lacking in some areas because self-reflection can be scary and painful, thinking about the negative things you used to, but it is essential in moving forward to a positive light. It is very tough growing up with insecurities, but find a way to outlet your emotions, whether that be through social media or therapy, and you will come to find that you are not alone. Remember, self-love is a continuous process, but before you can start that process, you need to find out who you are.
