This Friday is so jam-packed with new movies that we wanted to review a couple of them early for you here at Breakfast All Day.
We begin with the action comedy "Novocaine," starring Jack Quaid as a mild-mannered bank manager who feels no pain. When robbers kidnap the woman he adores (Amber Midthunder), he finds his affliction is actually an asset. One of us liked this movie better than the other.
But we both loved "Black Bag," starring Michael Fassbender and Cate Blanchett as British spies who love each other but don't totally trust each other. This is the second film this year from director Steven Soderbergh and writer David Koepp, following "Presence" in January. It's sleek, sexy and stylish. This is a spoiler-free review.
Join us Friday for reviews of "The Electric State" on Netflix and the indie drama "Opus." We look forward to seeing you then.
