It’s become apparent that MAGA and a large percentage of Americans don’t have a clue about what has happened in Ukraine, or the supposed peace deal. I’m here to help out.

Speaker 1 (00:01):
Welcome in to another episode of the Brett Mason Show.
I'm the afore mentioned Brett Mason. We talk about culture, society, politics, religion,
all the stuff you're never supposed to talk about. It's
what we talk about on this podcast. Not the most
popular podcast ever, although we do have a devoted set

(00:23):
of listeners. I am recording this episode today specifically for Maga.
If you're Maga, I'm here for you. And the reason
I'm here for you is not to attack you or
to call you names or point out how ridiculous it
was to vote for a rapist to be the president,
not doing any of that. The reason I'm here today
is to explain what has happened and what is currently happening,

(00:47):
and what's going on with this situation in Ukraine with
Russia and their invasion a Donald Trump, because it's become
very clear to me that you guys don't know anything
about it. You literally don't know anything about it, despite

(01:07):
the way Trump has spoken recently, which is insane. Russia,
in an unprovoked fashion and for no reason other than
to just go to war with somebody and try to
take over their land, invaded Ukraine. They literally invaded Ukraine.

(01:27):
Imagine if we were all sitting here today, hanging out chilling,
you know, watching Judge Judy on the TV, drinking the
diet coke. I don't know what you do, and then
suddenly Canada just started invading the United States of America

(01:49):
and said, you know what, We're invading you, and we're
going to start taking over your land because we want it.
We feel we're entitled to it. This Great Lakes region
up here around the Great Lakes area. We believe that
we want that, we think that we're entitled to that.
And they just start killing Americans. They just started killing Americans,

(02:10):
dropping bombs, waltzing through cities and towns and along the
border and in the northern United States. I mean, if
that happened, and then suddenly we were at war with him,
and this war lasted for two three years. And then

(02:34):
let's say that the Prime Minister of England came over
and tried to broke her a peace deal and said
that Ukraine was the problem. I'm sorry that America was
the problem. The United States of America was the problem.
That we somehow we were the ones doing the invading.

(02:55):
That's akin to what Donald Trump has done in this situation,
which is just insane. That's the most insane thing. Ever,
how you can support that, how you can support a
man that would infer that or just blatantly say it
is ridiculous. I don't understand it. Booting is a dictator.

(03:15):
He's declared himself a dictator. Sure, they had elections and stuff,
but they postponed the elections. They postponed elections for like
one hundred years or something, So I mean, I guess
technically they're a democracy. When the person in charge permanently
postpones elections, you got yourselfs a dictator. He's an evil,
evil tyrant, a blood thirsty dictator who attacked a much

(03:40):
smaller sovereign state to just take over their land. Like
can I don't understand how anybody supports that. I don't
understand how you're ambivalent about it or how you're so
passate about it. Like that's the shit that, as the
world's premier superpower, we should have a hand in going
to ask no, no, you can't do that. You just

(04:01):
can't be an evil dictator and just go invading people's
property and taking it away from him. You just can't
do that. But apparently that's not the way Trump feels
about it. He thinks stuff that tyrants and dictators do
is they try to take over neighboring sovereign states, is fine.
You know, it's just a disagreement, he says. And then
when he comes in to quote unquote try to solve

(04:22):
the problem, this is what he does. He demands a
bunch of concessions from Ukraine, the innocent victim that has
been attacked by a much larger country, and demands a
bunch of concessions from them. You gotta give away that,
and we'll talk about all that you gotta do, and
then you know, we'll try to see if we get
a putin to stop invading you. What does he ask?

(04:48):
What does he ask for Russia to give up? What
does he ask for Pooting to give up? Nothing? They
don't give up anything. They don't have to give up nothing. Now,
what does Russia want out of this? What does Russia
want change for stopping attacking a sovereign state in an
unprovoked fashion to steal their land? What do they want
to say, Okay, we'll stop attacking an innocent sovereign state. Well, okay,

(05:11):
we want some things. What does it they want? They
want to get to keep the part of the land
that they've already invaded and begin to take over. So
back in September twenty twenty two to two, they started

(05:34):
an invasion of Ukraine, right Ukraine, and then they made
just a declaration. They're like, we have officially now annexed
these areas around these Ukrainian oblasts. They're called and I
can't pronounce these words, but it's like Donetsk, Kerson, Luansk
and Zephforzia. It's these four oblasts. I guess that would

(05:56):
be states or regions. I don't, I really don't. I
don't know. I'm not getting into that. It's not important.
And what's important is is that is Ukrainian. That's that's
in Ukraine. That would be like Canada coming down and
invading the United States of America and then declaring, we
have officially annexed Washington State, North Dakota, Michigan, and I

(06:24):
don't know, Montana. We've annexed them. They're ours now. That's
what Russia did. That's what Russia did to Ukraine. That
would be the same thing if Canada had did what
I just had done. That's what happened over there, and
I don't understand in what universe you could think that's
fine or acceptable or why we shouldn't in any way
be Cowtowing to Putin is a part of this, like

(06:46):
he just he is in the wrong. He is a
He is a person who tried to invade another sovereign
state and take it over. Like we just know that's
just we don't. You don't do that. And now Trump
comes in, he's quote quote going to negotiate a peace agreement, right,
He's going to negotiate a peace agreement. And he asked

(07:06):
Ukraine to give up some things to get us involved
and to get to Russia to get Russia to stop invading.
So Russia has already said what their what their demands are?
You know, Russia has their demands, and uh, it's it's

(07:29):
it's not it's not pretty or reasonable or anything remotely reasonable.
But russia demands is a part of this peace agreement
that Ukraine renounce to two things, renounce future NATO membership
and say we'll never be a member of NATO. I mean,
I guess they could do that since they're not already
a member of NATO. It's not I it's not horrible.

(07:50):
I guess that's I guess that's a reasonable demand. I mean,
it's really dumb. You shouldn't tell another sovereign state what
they can and can't do. But I mean it's not
the worst demand, I guess if we can get war
it in. But secondarily, they demand that Ukraine seed all
of these regions of eastern Ukraine Donetski, Lugonsk, Carson, Carson,

(08:12):
and I don't know, I can't pronounce them, but that's
their great Well, you just got to give that up
and say that's ours. Now, that's what that's what Russia wants.
What does Ukraine get out of it? What does Ukraine
get out of it? What does what kind of bending
over and rolling over and playing dead and all this
stuff does Ukraine have to do to get this country

(08:33):
that's clearly in the wrong out of their lands and
just stop killing their people? What do they have to do?
They have to give up fifty of all of their
mineral rights in their nation for life, for life. Understand

(08:53):
that that countries have natural resources, right, so we have
our national parks and stuff. We don't really generate much
revenue from them. Sure you can go pay a fee
and visit them, and those fees and stuff basically pay
for the people to maintain the parts and stuff. It's
not like we're making a ton of money from it.
You know, the natural resources we have, I guess primarily

(09:14):
would be all and you know, LNG gas, stuff like
that would be would be that. And then of course
we have lots of ports because we're surrounded by oceans,
so we have a lot of that going on for us.
And I mean we have a lot of things. Uh,
Ukraine doesn't have a lot of stuff. Ukraine does not
have a lot of stuff. But apparently they have these

(09:34):
mines that are filled with various type things that are
worth reminding, worth mining and can generate revenue. These mineral
deposits all some natural gas, other things like that. Right,
but for us to go for the for Trump to
come in and negotiate a seasfire, they have to give

(09:56):
up fifty percent of all revenue for their natural resources.
They have to give up half of it forever. They
have to give up half of it forever to the
United States of America. Now, I mean, if you think
this is fair or reasonable, I don't know what to
tell you. You're a thug, You're just you believe in thuggery.

(10:18):
So now we have Russia attack to them, and for
Russia to agree to stop attacking them and sign this
peace agreement, Russia goes, well, we get those four regions
in eastern Ukraine. We get those those are ours now
they're not yours anmore, they're ours. Then for the United
States to come in and negotiate the trade, they're like, well,
we get half of all your minerals and gas and

(10:39):
oil and all that stuff for life. We just get
fifty percent of that for the forever. And Ukraine is like,
what the fuck? We were in innocent, just sitting over
here hanging out mining our own business. Sovereign state Russia
taxes kill like fifty thousand of our men, women, children,
and soldiers us to make numerous cities and infrastructure and

(11:03):
refineries and schools and libraries and you know all this stuff.
The toll is unimaginable. And now for us to get
you people to kind of come to some kind of
agreement to stop attacking us and killing our people and
destroying our country, we have to give. We have to
give away a portion of our nation to Russia, the

(11:25):
assholes who attacked us, And we also have to give
away half of all of our oil and mineral rights
and all that stuff for life forever to the United
States of America. Which brings me to the key point
of contention that happened on National TV. We're, in my
humble opinion, our president, this Vice president stooge JdE Vance

(11:48):
moron got way out of line because also, let's get
he's ready to sign the agreement, which is a shitty agreement.
This is a shitty agreement for him, and for them
to act so cocky and arrogant and say that he's
not humble and not grateful and not thankful is the
d The guy is going to give up parts of
his country to the nation, to the country that invaded him,

(12:12):
and then he has to give up half of all
his oil and gas and mineral and all this stuff
that can be mind forever to the United States. And
you're bitching because he's not smiling and happy, go lucky
and grateful and thankful that all this shit is happening
to him and his people. Really, so all that he

(12:32):
did was said, look, we're here, Obviously we're willing to
sign some common agreement. I just need assurances for me
to sign this. You have to give me some kind
of assurances, like, why would I just sign all this
over without any kind of assurances that it's going to
be lasting or permanent or enforced. Come on, if you
don't think that's a reasonable question to ask, then you're

(12:54):
just a fucking asshole. You're just a fucking asshole. He's like, look,
if we sign this and we just fucking give away
four of our provinces or states or whatever they're called,
we'll just give those away to Russia who attacked us
to steal it. We're like, okay, we're just giving up
part of our land, and then we're gonna give you
for negotiating this shitty deal. We're gonna give you half

(13:15):
of all of our oil and gas and mineral rights
forever and perpetuity, forever and ever and ever. Please just
give us some assurances that you will step in forcefully
and protect us if Russia comes back again, because Russia

(13:36):
has never in its history honored any agreement that it's
signed with anybody, And you think that's unreasonable for him
to do. You think that's unreasonable for him to do.
I'm gonna give you a good old maga version of
this that God help us, perhaps you'll be able to
wrap your head around. Let's just say that you're at

(14:01):
your house. You and your family are at your house,
and out back in your house, you got a you
got yourself a bass boat. Back there, you got your
fine rod and real collection, and you got one of
the world's finest collections of lures and baits and tackles,
and maybe you got your fine ztr lawnmower. Then you

(14:26):
got a little shed over here with a work bench
in it, and you know, maybe you got you a
bunch of power tools and stuff in there. And one
day the guy that lives next to you and his
wife and his kids and his cousins and stuff, they
cross over your property line and they just start shooting
at you because they have decided that they would like

(14:52):
your bass boat, and you know they'd like, uh, they'd
like your table saw that's in your it's in your shed.
And know, they start attacking you. And so now you
and your wife and your kids you take up your
shotguns and rifles and pistols and stuff, and you start
shooting back. And in the meanwhile, all the damage that's

(15:14):
going on winds up. You know, your car winds up
full of bullet holes, and you know, the side of
your house where that the kitchen's on gets all shot up.
You sink don't work no more, and your driveway gets
all cracked up and full of holes and rotets you
can hardly pull in and out of it and stuff.
And you know, your your eighteen year old boy that's

(15:39):
been in the fight got killed as a result. So
now you've got a dead family member. And you know,
let's say that your neighbor has like seventeen cousins, six
seven brothers and sisters, and fourteen uncles and some extended family,
and plus all the kids and the wife are all

(15:59):
over there shooting at you. And you're over here and
it's just you and a couple of daughters and a
couple of sons, and you've got like six seven cousins
with you, and you're trying to hold them off and
fight them off, to keep them from just coming and
just taking your shit. And then out of the blue,
your friend, your ally, this guy, he's your friend, your ally.
He is on the side of democracy and sovereign states

(16:22):
and is the most powerful guy on the street, right.
I mean, he's got he's got the biggest family ever,
and all this shit, He's like steps in and he goes,
you know what we're gonna we'll negotiate, will help you
out right. So first, but well let's back up little bit.
So the first thing he does is your powerful friend

(16:42):
that lives across the street, that has like a hundred
family members living on his expansive property, and they all
are armed to the teeth and they have tanks and
stuff and armored vehicles and stuff. They don't come over
and actually help you in your fight. But what they
do is they have some really old guns. Right, and
this is what this is a perfect analogy, is what happened.
They have some really old guns that are so outdated

(17:05):
they don't use them anymore, and they were gonna throw
them away. And they have, you know, some outdated ammunition,
and they have some let's say, and have some really
outdated weapons on swords and you know things like that.
And so what they do is they ship it to
you across to help you in your fight. An well, here,
take this, this will help you. And we've got also

(17:25):
got this really old beat up clunker nineteen eighty six
Toyota that we will also give you to help you
in your efforts. We were gonna send it off to
the junk yard, and it runs barely runs. We were
going to trash it, but we'll give you that. And so,
I mean, the stuff they send you helps you keep
in the fight a little bit. And you, you know,

(17:46):
so you lose some ground, right, you do loose started.
You do loose some ground, but you haven't lost your
whole yard, in your house and everything. And you've lost
some you know, you lost your son, you eighteen year
old boy, you lost him. And so after all of this,
and then also your big rich neighbor across the street,
you know, who has everything, you know, he's also sent

(18:09):
you a couple of hundred dollars to help you out.
All right, he sent you a couple of hundred dollars
to help you out. Now what you've done is, with
that a couple of hundred dollars he sent you, you've now
sent it back to him to buy some of his
better guns from him to help you in the fight.
So he sent you two hundred dollars. But now you've
taken the two hundred dollars year said, oh, thanks for
the two hundreds. Can I buy some of your better
guns from you to help us in this fight, and

(18:30):
you're like, oh, sure, we'll sell them to you, back
to you. That's a perfect analogy. That's what what has
happened up until today. Now, your big bully neighbor with
all the power or not, just don't call you bully.
Just your big powerful neighbor finally comes over says, look,
I'm tired of seeing y'all fight, and I'm only negotiate

(18:52):
a peace deal between y'all. I'm only negotiate a peace
deal between y'all. So here's what we're going to do.
Your neighbors over there that invaded you, they really want
that table saw, and they really want that bass boat,
and so you're just going to give that to them
and they'll leave you alone. They get to keep it.
That's the whole reason they invaded you. Anyway. Now, what

(19:13):
we want out of this is uh, for the rest
of y'all's lives, your lives, your son's lives, your grandson's lives,
your great grandsons and granddaughters, your great great forever and
ever into perpetuity, for as long as all of y'all
ever live here, forever and ever and ever. You're going
to give us all of half of all of the

(19:38):
lures and bait and tackle and fishing gear that y'all
wind up with over here, and we want we want
it forever. Y'all gotta fine tackle and bait and fishing
gear collection over here, and you're always adding to it.
It's worth a lot of money. And that's what y'all
are good at. And you know, Jim Bob, your boy

(19:58):
makes a lot of these lures. He's really good at
making some of these lures that they're so popular. Like,
we want half of all of that for the rest
of y'all's lives forever. We want that. And also, if
you don't mind, we would also like half of your water.
So we know you got this this meter out here

(20:20):
in the front yard that pumps the water to your house,
and we get it, right, I get we get it.
But what we want to do is we want to
put in on a little hose over here, and we're
gonna siphon all half of it, so half all the
water that comes onto your property were gonna sut. Now
you're still gonna pay the meter bill that the city
charges you, but we're gonna siphon all half of it,
and we get to keep that forever. Forever and ever

(20:42):
and ever, for always and forever. And I don't want
you to question as to whether we're gonna be there
for you in the future if your neighbor decides to
attack you again, because that's rude and that's disrespectful. If
you say, if you're good, if you're telling us right
now that yeah, well, okay, we'll give all this up.

(21:02):
This is a great sacrifice for us, but we just
want this fighting to end, and we'll sign your agreement,
but please give me some assurances that if my neighbor
attacks me again, you will come over to our defense
and help us, and your big, rich, powerful avor goes.
That's insulting. How dare you ask us to commit to
anything like that. You're rude and unappreciative. If we'd appreciate it,

(21:24):
if you would just say thank you and shut the
fuck up. That is what has happened. That is what
has happened in this Russian Ukraine United States triangle from
beginning till now. That's what's happened. And if you can't
understand why all of that's wrong, if you can't understand
why Trump is wrong, if you can't understand the people
who support what the fuck they're doing is wrong. If

(21:46):
you can't understand that Putin isn't the wrong, if you
can't understand fucking Russia isn't the wrong. If you can't,
if you're not capable of understanding all that fucking shit
is wrong, I don't know what to tell you. Like,
I get it, your judgment is highly questionable. I mean,
you elect at a fucking rapist, You elected a four time
a thirty four time felon. You elected a guy that

(22:06):
literally tried to start a coup and overthrow the government.
You elected a guy that literally gave pardons to people
that bashed cops in the faces with fucking fire extinguisher bottles,
and they maced them and they trampled them, and they
beat them about the head and neck and torso with
fucking flagpoles and shit, and then they went into the

(22:28):
capitol and rubbed their shit all over the walls. You
know that's the guy you like. I understand that your
judgment is probably not all that it should be. But
surely to God you can see how this is a
fucked up situation. Surely to God, you can see how
this situation is fucked up, and how Ukraine, Who's just
trying to live over here in its own little sovereign

(22:50):
state and just get people the fuck out of its life.
Is being asked to give up fucking everything to everybody.
You're asking them to take it up. The ash from
Russia and you asking them to taking up They asks
for the United States of America to get the fighting
to stop, with no assurances that you're going to help
them in the it's six months from now when when
Russia comes back, You're like, well, I mean, we didn't
guarantee we were going to help, you know, we didn't

(23:11):
give you any assurances on that. How dare you even
ask for that? If you don't believe any of this
is true, you think I'm making this fucking shit up
or whatever. I'll provide links to resources and stuff that
you can read if you're into reading. I mean, I
know most of you guys are just into listening to
what Trump says and believing that it's the law, that

(23:33):
it's the gospel, like he's gone or something. But if
you'd actually actually like to read some stuff and go, fuck,
maybe I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about.
I'll provide links down in the information section of this
podcast you can click and read them or whatever. Do better.
Let mean, this is the United States of America. We're
supposed to be that shining light, that beacon on a hill.

(23:55):
That's what we're supposed to be, and we're just the
fucking worst right now
