The hook is is the next part, right?
Yeah, so you talk about whatyou're what you talked about
there.

SPEAKER_00 (00:23):
Yeah, the the ABC, I'm just gonna spell it out real
quick.
ABC is bait hook kill.

SPEAKER_01 (00:30):
Bait hook kill.

SPEAKER_00 (00:31):
And it's it's just you know basically illustrating
the same as like a fisherman.
You throw the bait, try to get ahook, you reel it in, and then
what do you do?
You kill it, you know?
Yeah.
I mean, some fishermen arereally nice and put the fish
back, but that's not what thisis.
This is like this is we're notcatching releasing it.
No, his his objective, thesnake, is to kill you, like

(00:53):
destroy you.
He's the destroyer, you know,and so that's his goal.
And whatever time it takes, he'sa very you fishermen too are
very patient.
Yes.
I can't fish, I'm not patient.
I throw the thing out and I'mlike five minutes out.
I'm gone.
I'm gone.
I can't, unfortunately, I can'tfish, like you know.
But what I love about and Iappreciate and I respect about
fishermen is how patient theyare, man.

(01:14):
Like the patience it takes tojust wait, change the bait,
figure out where's the bestspot, and just work it.
But the whole goal to for whenyou're out there fishing and
baiting and working, when youget a hook, it's game time,
right?

SPEAKER_01 (01:25):
Game time.

SPEAKER_00 (01:26):
And so the same thing with the snake and the
enemy.
As soon as like it's it's craftywith the eagle and the eagle's
trying to find on the ground, assoon as it attacks, yeah, and it
baited you in, and it it's gametime.
It's trying to choke you andpull you, pull you in for the
kill.
And so once it hooks you, that'swhere your life, your journey,
it's hard once you get the hook.
So imagine uh that client, I gethooked, and then I snap on him

(01:50):
in an email.
He screenshots it, puts itonline, and then just you know,
it just turns into this fishbeing dragged to the boat.
You know, and so sometimes ourdecisions are part of the
choices we make are part ofbeing hooked, you know, and so
our what we want to do is beable to position ourselves to
not get hooked.
Obviously, we're gonna talkabout that.

(02:10):
But the hook is it can be longterm.
Sometimes the bait was thrownway out there, and he's gonna
hook you and slowly keep pullingyou in, pulling you in, pulling
you in, and it could be atwo-year poll, and you don't
even know.
You're just hooked, you knowwhat I mean?
You're just kind of likefloating on the top, and then
you know, a lot of things comewith that.
Sometimes divorce, sometimes thecompany could shut down,
sometimes, you know, peopleleave your company, sometimes,

(02:33):
you know, I mean it can get realbad.
You can go to, you know, it'sjust it's gonna keep your stress
hit you at a whole new levelbecause the the enemy baited you
for whatever it was, you know.
And so he's at work, man, to tryto hook you and and pull you in
for the kill.

SPEAKER_01 (02:47):
And so you would say, I mean, would you say that
just being aware of that is theis the best thing you can do, or
what's in your well, what Iwanted to do in this chapter was
number one, categorize it,right?

SPEAKER_00 (03:01):
But once you categorize it, I wanted to equip
you with the weapon to defeatit, not just defend it.
So, what I want to teach you isnot how to dodge the bait, I
want to teach you how to cut theline.

SPEAKER_01 (03:15):
Gotcha.
Right?

SPEAKER_00 (03:16):
Like I'm gonna show you where the line is and you
just cut it.
Yeah, and then the fisherman isgonna be like, Whoa, they cut
the line.
Like, I can't even like theseguys are smart, you know what
I'm saying?

SPEAKER_01 (03:27):
Like, got it.
So before we we dive into thecutting the line, let's go on to
the the BHK bait, hook, andkill.
So let's go over the kill.
So what's your what do youmention in the book about oh
yeah, that's what I was just uhcapitalizing on, man.

SPEAKER_00 (03:40):
Like you can get a divorce, you you it can lose
your company, you can.
I mean, that's the kill.
He's trying to destroy you allthe way to death, man.
Could even into sickness becauseof stress or you know, um, so
many different areas.
So your response is gettingcaught and hooked, and the hook
is basically gonna keep pullingyou until you know how to cut
the if you don't know how to cutit, you're going in for the

(04:02):
kill.
Like they're you're gonna getkilled.
So, like the eagle, once it'sgetting choked, it's almost not
to say it's too late, but it's amiracle if you can get out,
because the enemy's out there tokill you, and he's gonna keep
going and choking you andchoking you until you die.
Yeah, and that's the same thingwith the hook.
You gotta just wiggle your wayout as much as possible.
But if I can teach you to cutthe just cut it, and that's what

(04:23):
my prayer was.
I was like, God, how can I justlike when I'm in a spiritual
battle like this, uh-huh, likehow can I respond immediately or
and or even when I'm hooked,that will cut the line and save
me.
Yeah, even though the line'scut, I can have to work on
getting the hook out, yeah,right?
And hopefully it can come out.
I'm gonna have some scars, butat least I'm not going in for

(04:43):
the kill, right?

SPEAKER_01 (04:44):
Yeah, yeah.
In the beginning of the killportion, kill portion, he'll say
it says uh he'll do the snakewill do whatever it takes to
make you think you're on yourown.
And that that's a that's a goodline, bro, because I think
that's for I mean just in mylife, I I think the enemy uh

(05:05):
succeeds when when I try to dothings on my own, when I know
there's a a captain of the ship,and and I'm not looking to that.
So I think I I put in my noteshere, I I think to separate you
from the captain of the boat isone of is the best trophy that
the the snake can get.
So I'm thinking like, oh man,it's putting into perspective

(05:27):
what we should do, uh, which isto stay within proximity of the
captain.

SPEAKER_00 (05:33):
Yeah, and it's just like visually, I'm thinking like
as the fish is probably with theschool of other fish buddies,
and maybe gets caught, butthat's when isolation begins.
Oh, and what's crazy is likefish aren't that smart.
Not saying we're not smart ashumans, but the fact that
sometimes when they're caught,they don't even know they're
caught.

SPEAKER_01 (05:52):
Yeah, you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_00 (05:54):
And so that's my my my goal is to be part of the the
fish school and teach other fishto let you know, like when you
get caught with the bait, yeah,you know, and and I know there's
probably a lot of like businessowners that are probably
watching this and like, man,what does this have to do with
business, man?
It has everything to do withbusiness.
Like, see, this whole book, thiswhole like thing is about your
spiritual faith and your heartposture and how to respond

(06:16):
spiritually.
Because if you're chasingeverything in the physical
world, you're really on your ownto begin with.
And we'll talk about this, youknow.
And so if you're partnering withthe builder of all things and
anything you're doing, any kindof leadership, these three
categories are very importantbecause they will come,
especially when you start God ispushing you into the the realm

(06:37):
of successfulness of what hewants to do with you.
Yeah, the enemy is gonna comeand you have to be prepared for
him.
This isn't like how do you, youknow, make a sale or market your
company.
This is this is the meat.
Like, yeah, this is like whenadversity comes, and when it
comes, it will come when you'redown, it will come when you're
up, you know, and it's gonnacome and attack you.
So I want to prepare youspiritually on how to recognize

(07:00):
these things.
