This is one of those times. This time it was triggered by a conversation with a business owner who was wondering why business brokers weren't getting back to them after their initial call. I tried to explain to the owner what the problem was but I don't think the message got home.
In this short podcast I recount the conversation with this business owner and emphasise for all business owners "Have you business ready for sale all the time!"
A business that's ready for sale is well worth keeping. Build your business as though you are going to keep it forever, but could sell it tomorrow. ENJOY!
