Efter en konflikt mellem nogle af børnene i 2.B løber Ida skrigende væk. Pædagogen Petra ser, at Ida har kurs mod vejen, og reagerer. Hun stiller sig i vejen og slår armene om hende. Hun forsøger at holde hende i ro, mens Ida kæmper for at slippe fri.
”Jeg slipper dig, når du er rolig, så vi kan tale sammen,” siger Petra igen og igen, og til sidst bliver barnet roligt.
Men bagefter bliver Petra i tvivl. For hvordan kan hun lære børnene, at det er forkert at bruge magt og tvang overfor andre, når hun gør det selv?
