Why is it so hard to have faith in God? If hope is who God is, faith is who we are in response to Him. When God's chosen people were trapped between the Red Sea and the Egyptian Army in Exodus 14, it was easy to turn to frustration and anger as they wondered where God was in the midst of their struggle. But Moses partnered with God in faith to bring good to his people. Psalm 77 directs us to lament, question, and remember with God when it feels like hope is nowhere to be found.
