SEA LEMON「STAY」
アメリカ・シアトルを拠点に活動する、
ナタリー・ルーによるソロプロジェクト：シー・レモン。
2021年にインディーでデビューして以来、
これまでに2枚のEPをリリースしていますが、
6月に初のアルバム『Diving for a Prize』をリリース予定。
この「Stay」はそこからの先行シングルで、
地元のリサイクルショップで見かけた、
70代〜80代の警備員のおじいちゃんをモデルにして制作！
警備員のおじいちゃん、かなりお疲れだったのか、
シー・レモンが店にいた間、うたた寝をしていたそう。
彼女は店を出た後もそのおじいちゃんのことが頭から離れず、
ずーっと気になり、
「もう充分働いたから、休んでいいんだよ！」
という思いを込めて、帰ってすぐ作詞。

そんなイメージで作ったそうです。
