En China, encontramos varias religiones, filosofías, y corrientes de pensamiento. Todas son elementos importantes de la cultura e identidad china. El estado, reconoce cinco religiones oficiales: budismo, taoísmo, islam catolicismo y protestantismo. Estas no abarcan todos los aspectos de la religión tradicional China, como el confucianismo, el feng shui y el ying-yang. Dentro de las filosofías de estas religiones, también podemos crear paralelos con conceptos similares en América Latina.
