Gordon Herbert hat bis letzten Sommer die Basketball-Nationalmannschaft trainiert und das schier unmögliche geschafft: Den Weltmeistertitel 2023 auf den Philippinen gewonnen! Was für eine unglaubliche Leistung ist doch Deutschland damit zum ersten Mal in seiner Geschichte überhaupt Weltmeister geworden.
Zudem hat die Nationalmannschaft unter seiner Führung 2022 die Bronzemedaille bei der Europameisterschaft errungen und im letzten Jahr den 4. Platz bei den Olympischen Spielen belegt. Aktuell ist Gordon Herbert der Cheftrainer beim FC Bayern München.
Im letzten Jahr erschien sein Buch DIE JUNGS GABEN MIR MEIN LEBEN ZURÜCK, das er zusammen mit Jonathan Sierck geschrieben hat, der ebenfalls bereits hier im Podcast war und die Biografie von Hansi Flick IM MOMENT geschrieben hat.
