Leaning on this guy a lot lately and his message today is one that all of us can make a personal connection with. It comes from Mark Hickie (@MPHickie) and he shares these thoughts about the quote he connects this with. Mark's thoughts are: “A message for today … Success isn’t always instant or visible. It’s built in the quiet hours, when no one is watching. Every bit of effort, every act of dedication adds up. Even when recognition seems distant, keep showing up—your breakthrough is closer than you think.” There are so many things that we are doing in life that don’t get noticed by others. Remember, that’s not what we are looking for. What we are looking for, I think, is that WE notice the little things we are doing AND we understand that we just need to keep working on them, keep doing them, keep learning new things to help us to keep going. Also remember that when we keep at the things, the habits, we keep getting better. To me, that is success. You being at your best means you are able to make a difference for others. When we are not working to be our best - we are not able to help others that much. Keep working on ourselves my friends. Keep bringing the effort, the thought, the energy, etc., each and every day. That is success for sure. Thanks for listening.
