Another story from ‘The Twilight Zone Radio Series’. This time I have chosen ‘The Monsters are Due on Maple Street’. The TV version of this one was first broadcast on American TV in March 1960. I won’t tell you what it is about this time except to say that it has a light and a serious side. The serious side is a lesson in what can happen if we blindly follow others without stopping to rationalise things properly for ourselves. As usual with this series, the story is well produced. There is a big difference between some older radio plays and later productions like ‘The Twilight Zone Radio Series’.
