Speaker 5 (02:26):

Speaker 6 (02:26):
Here we go, Yeah, the other shirt we'n't get you
guys ready Cowboys versus Bears. Uh, we're gonna have got
some stuff we're gonna talk about here about that match
up here in the first segment. Then we'll get into
a little yety time with a g and it's got
some game for us. Not sure what we're doing, but
it'll be something fun as we always do on Friday.
Speaker 8 (02:44):
What are you looking like that?
Speaker 6 (02:45):
He knows it's the well you gave it the idea.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
You said that the other day.
Speaker 8 (02:52):
I was like, here we go, meme game is fun.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
Yeah, we'll do the mean game.
Speaker 8 (02:56):
Yet he does a great job with their stuff. Ambar
makes it all work.
Speaker 6 (02:59):
There we go, and then in the final segment we'll
get to our predictions. We'll talk about what we think
is going to happen.
Speaker 3 (03:04):
Three hundred to two, Right, three hundred two, smoking them,
whooping them.
Speaker 8 (03:08):
Whooping them all.
Speaker 6 (03:08):
Right, here we go. Let's let's get into some questions.
I want to talk first about some personnel things. Obviously,
Cowboys signed you Davian Clowney this week after a week
of practice. Have you heard anything or what do you
suspect will be his availability and how much they'll be
able to use him in this week's game.
Speaker 9 (03:26):
It does you no favors on this show when i
I'm like usually a Friday afternoon ask hey, how'd everything go?
And see how we go kind of guy. So yeah,
I'm kind of in that Friday mode right now. I
want to uh, you know, I want to think that
that if that if they feel like that he is
picked up some things. I'm sure that they've worked with him.
I'm sure they've had some practice stuff they had to
(03:47):
walk through the other day, you know, but sure there's
some of the off the field stuff that they're doing
to try and get him acclimated. They really just basically
need to say, listen, bro, we need you to rush
the passer. We need you to find a way to
whip of these tackles, you know, consistently and play that way. So,
uh yeah, Friday afternoon's kind of my day to ask
about who's playing, who's not playing, and that does you
(04:09):
guys know good right now? So my apologies for that,
But Mike, my guess is that you know, he came in.
You know, they probably feel like, hey, the physical all
that was fine. They signed him. You know, once they
get these guys to be able to practice, then then
count on these guys going out there and playing. Now,
there might be kind of a pitch count thing that
we can see, but other than that, I think that
(04:31):
this I think that you're going to see Javin Clowney
playing this football game and hopefully play at a very
high level.
Speaker 3 (04:36):
Do you see him playing like a whole bunch, because
signing clown is like trading for Clark because Clark had
camp and he played in some games preseason wise and
then he shows up. So day one for the Cowboys,
he's kind of in best shape already. Clowney was at
the crib watching college football with Us brou Yeah he was, so,
he sure was. So you're thinking like maybe on pass
Russ snaps only kind of like Mike did we went
(04:57):
in in Green Bay, right.
Speaker 9 (04:58):
Well, yeah, we've all seeing is how they rotate those ends,
you know, and so it's but it's a matter of like, okay,
is there somebody that's not going to be a part
of this rotation?
Speaker 8 (05:09):
You know? Are they going to is?
Speaker 9 (05:10):
You know they usually how many how many edges are
they going to be able to dress? You know, it
goes along with the tackles they go into a game.
If you feel like a team is going to run
the football a bunch, maybe you go a little heavy
at another position. If you feel like a team's going
to launch that thing, then you want to have your
pass rushers ready. So it's going to come down to,
you know, which way they feel like that the Bears
are going to go. The Bears running game is not great,
(05:32):
you know, even though they've had they've had the ability,
they've had some blocks where it should have been a
lot better. It just hasn't been great with swift. So
my anticipation after watching the Giants game last week, we're
probably gonna see the ball going the air bit so
to me, that's leaning towards your pass rushers and getting
a lot of work in this one.
Speaker 6 (05:50):
Yeah, if you had to put the defensive ends in
rank order for how well they've played, how would you
rank Marshawn Nielan, Dante, Sam Williams, Donovan as Roca.
Speaker 3 (06:03):
Wow, Marshall and Niland had a really good Game one Yep,
not as good as in Game two, but just by average,
as I would say he would be the first guy
I would say Sam. Sam brings some physicality to the party,
doesn't really put it all together all the time, but
he has played the most and he does get pressure
some run game stops things like that.
Speaker 10 (06:24):
Thoughts on him started to change.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
I would love it if Sam was like your fourth
best guy how he's playing, I would love it if
he was like, if Sam is your third fourth best guy,
I think we onto something he's not. He's playing like
your second best guy, and it's weird. I'm just gonna
add Houston to this, James.
Speaker 8 (06:42):
This is where I thought you were gonna go.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Thought that's bad, James Houston.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
But what makes it weird is Sam Williams played about
forty lass game James Houston played fourteen, so you can't
really compare him. But on James Houston's fourteen, it's an
explosive fourteen yep, A sack, a pressure, a run, stop,
tackle for loss, you know, a couple other you know,
things like that. So relatively you want to see more
of James Houston. But how much, like you know, does
(07:08):
that change? If James Houston is playing thirty snaps right,
that's just something else that you have to figure out.
But the bottom of that group, it has to be
Dante Fowler and Donvin ezeraka whatever order you want to
put him in. And you know, I love both those guys,
but they've been underwhelming. They have truthfully been underwhelming. For
Dante Fowler to be a guy that you're paying money
for to come in and he was a ten sad
guy last year. And Donovan a guy that you thought
(07:30):
would come in and at least be a be a
good pass rusher day one for you, or at least
a serviceable one. He's had some issues. I can give
him a little bit of grace that Jordan my lot
of Week one is a hell of a matchup. But
Donvin Ezeraku, who should have beat the hell out of
James Hudson and booing all those other guys.
Speaker 9 (07:47):
Yeah, I kind of feel like that what I've seen
from Fowler and then Ezraku has been near the bottom.
Speaker 8 (07:53):
And that's and that's to me, that's disappointing.
Speaker 9 (07:56):
It's it's just the two weeks sample size and all that,
but I thought the learning curve was not going to
be this steep for Donovanezeraku. It doesn't look like the
same player, and maybe he'll kind of figure some things out.
But in vatch minister rushing and good Jordan my allta
is not a thing that you want to be able
to say, Wow. I mean, hey, you're gonna win a
lot of those. You're not gonna win a lot of those.
(08:18):
But last week against the Giants, man, they did not
win enough.
Speaker 8 (08:21):
That's it. You know in Sam Williams. I mean you
can say, oh, well.
Speaker 9 (08:23):
Sam coming off the knee injury and all that, but
it's been a long time since, you know, they he
Unfortunately he made the play at the end and then
the game, the last pass that Russell Wilson threw was
an interception, So you know, good for good for them
for making that one play. But as a whole, this group,
it really has been the one guy that's making plays
for you. James Houston is playing the least, and maybe
(08:46):
if James Houston plays the most, he'll be bad too. Yeah,
I don't know. I mean that's what you kind of
worry about a little bit. Is is the stuff you
see by not playing a bunch? Is it kind of
like motivating and all that. But all of a sudden,
if you play forty snaps, is he going to be
poor on thirty of those snaps? That's I have no
clue this defensive end. I wish you just not asked
(09:08):
the question at all.
Speaker 8 (09:10):
Seriously.
Speaker 9 (09:11):
I mean it's very frustrating to me because I look
at this, even with Michael Parsons initially here you were
thinking like, Okay, this group's going to be man, They're
going to feed off Michaeh. Parsons and okay, Michael Parson's gone.
Oh now the defense, Okay, they got to put this
thing together. They got to get pressures and all they
got to do this. Man, they should have got pressures
last week, and they didn't get pressures last week. That's
(09:32):
the thing that bothers me the most.
Speaker 7 (09:34):
I agree with everything that you guys said, but specifically
with Fowler. I mean, he's a guy though after what
he did in Washington, I really thought he was going
to come in here and be an impactful player, a
plate maker for this team. And I want to ask
you guys, what are the differences there what he was
(09:55):
doing in Washington versus how he's currently being utilized or
the way that he's performing.
Speaker 3 (10:01):
Hand was down and Washington, he was on the other
side of Durrance. He was the main guy there. I
would imagine that he would be better here because they
are more dangerous pass rushers, assumingly by name. I mean,
they haven't proven the yet, but you would say, like
for namesake, that there are better pass rushers here than
are in Washington. But Dante's just running down the middle
of people like Dante is not very aware with his rushes.
(10:24):
He's not chaining moves together. And you know, Dante, when
he was here two years ago, three years ago, Brian
I felt like he had a lot more burst over
the edge.
Speaker 8 (10:31):
About how about winning on the first step.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
I'm not saying that that is to me, And I think.
Speaker 9 (10:36):
You're exactly right about the down the middle stuff. I
think they're all kind of guilty of that. But winning
going down the middle has to do with they're not
winning on the first step. I mean, across the board,
they are just not putting blockers in poor positions. You know,
all of a sudden, the blockers able to set why
they're rushing down, why they're having to rush down the middle,
because the blockers already out on them.
Speaker 8 (10:55):
They're already set in position, ready to go.
Speaker 9 (10:58):
When you're winning on the edge, when you're winning with
the first step quickness, you're putting that blocker in a
horrible position. This defensive edge group has not been doing
that consistent of it.
Speaker 8 (11:08):
I think Dante Fowler.
Speaker 9 (11:09):
Is a guy that his history has always been first
step quickness, went off edge, put blocker in bad spot.
Hasn't seen that through first two weeks of the season.
Speaker 6 (11:19):
Could this be something where they're trying to adapt to
something they're being coached to do and they're not adapting
well enough. And the reason why I say that when
I see players not playing to the potential of what
we've seen them do before. It's one thing when you
see one player, but when you see a group of
players that aren't doing that, it makes me wonder are
they being asked? It's kind of like a golfer in
(11:39):
his swing, like you try to change the swing and
sometimes it takes a while of regression before you can
get a hang of what they're asking you to do
so that you can actually be better. Do you think
maybe it's something that's happening there, because obviously as Araka,
you guys talked a lot about his end and all
the things, all the whole package of it as a
pass rusher of what he was in college, we don't
see that right now. Do you think that maybe this
(12:01):
is something more than just these players just aren't playing well.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
The only thing I can think of, just in context
of what you just asked, is maybe as a room,
they're saying, hey, guys, let's not just run up feel
like we're on fire, or something like that. Because maybe
you don't want the run game to suffer a little bit.
But I find it real hard to believe that when
Russell Wilson is sitting back there throwing the football for
damn near five hundred yards, especially towards the end of
(12:26):
the game, where the passing is clear and obvious, I
just don't I just don't see it though. It's just
hard for me to fathom now if this is some
sort of like run game different like there's a lot
there are rules to run game right for every scheme,
for every player. Everybody has a different run game rule.
Pass rush, for the most part, if you've earned it,
you're getting a field and flying and you just went.
(12:46):
Coaches kind of want you to maintain gap interegory. But
that's really the only rule from a coach to pass rush.
I just don't think these guys are getting home. Russell
Wilson has some comfortable packets. And the one thing that's
most frustrating, Brian said earlier, is that that Giants offensive
line is they're not I'll say they're not as good
as the Eagles offensive line. I can have a little
grace for those Eagles guys right as lane as my
(13:09):
allotta as Dickerson, I can understand that, but you cannot
by no means Dante Falbum speaking of you by name.
Let rookie from Perdue who's three hundred and five pounds,
Brian Bros, Marcus Embo. You can't let him stand you
up all game. You can't do it.
Speaker 9 (13:23):
Yeah, I think to me that I remember back. I
hearkened to the days when Paul Alexander was the our
offensive line coach here and he was playing high hand
low hand. We all remember that, and they all kind
of tried to do it and all that, and then
Tyron Smith basically looked at him and said, we're not
doing that.
Speaker 8 (13:39):
We're going back to what you know.
Speaker 9 (13:41):
But you do revert back to if you're struggling, if
you're struggling with technique, and it's because the coach is
asking you and you're trying, and you're trying, and then
you say, you know what, I'm not playing high hand
low hand. I'm gonna grab these guys, I'm gonna hold them,
I'm gonna do what I have to do, and revert
back to the ways that you had some success. So
(14:01):
to me, yeah, coaching is, but but that you don't
see the explosiveness you you did. That's that's not that's
mom and dad. That that ain't that ain't coaching. That's
mom and dad. You know, you know, that's the get
off that you have right.
Speaker 8 (14:16):
There, you know.
Speaker 9 (14:17):
And they're they're just not getting off the ball like that.
We've seen these defensive ends do I and I and
I say this for Donoinozaraku, he's probably if you took
him out to lunch right now, he would probably tell you.
The thing I'm not doing right now that's giving me
the most trouble is I'm just not getting off the
football fast enough.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
To be fair, Brian, something that will help is your
cornerbacks not you know, given five yards of cushion and
playing uh deep you know, deep zone or just playing
flats or whatever with five yards because so the quarterback
just get rid of the ball quickly. Yeah, that'll help
maybe some maybe some press man to mix the looks.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
Up a little bit. All right, we're gonna take our
first break.

We will come back and we got a little yetty

say your name, Doc Prescott.
Speaker 10 (18:48):
Okay, all right.
Speaker 7 (18:50):
So this first one is just a woman. She is
looking up at the sky in celebration, just happy and
very excited.
Speaker 9 (19:00):
That can I give this one these That is my
exact reaction when they started getting George Pickens involved in
the football.
Speaker 8 (19:08):
That was it was.
Speaker 9 (19:10):
Look to the heavens, Clint's fist like, yes, somebody figured
this out. That was me right there for them. So
that's that's my that's George Pickens playing well for the
Dallas Cowboys to me.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
How about this, Thank goodness, Clayton Adams is here so
we can get this run game. We finally got some, yes,
finally got some run game.
Speaker 2 (19:28):
Up in there.
Speaker 6 (19:29):
And I'll say that's the Cowboys run defense when they
signed came when they got Kenny Clark in that trade.
Speaker 2 (19:35):
Okay, all of a sudden, it.
Speaker 6 (19:37):
Changed every everybody run This run game just became. This
run defense just became an actual good run defense, an
NFL run defense.
Speaker 10 (19:46):
I like it. All right, you're not gonna play too you, okay, but.
Speaker 7 (19:53):
You guys in the chat vote to see who of

You know who who's almost creative here on the show.
All right, now, we gotta what is this a chihuahua?
I think this is a chihuahua dog and his eyes
are as big as they can get in his snare.
Speaker 3 (20:13):
I know, damn well. That ain't won Dale Robinson running.
That's that.
Speaker 2 (20:19):
My man is Donovan Wilson.
Speaker 6 (20:21):
Last week, like what I think that was the last
and by the way, all credits Donovan. They don't win
that game, but that is, but they gotta come back.
Speaker 2 (20:31):
But they got him a couple first, they got him
a couple of times.
Speaker 8 (20:34):
No, that to me right there, You guys got this
one all wrong.
Speaker 9 (20:38):
That's the that's the half the end of drive right
there for the Cowboys in the in the first half
drive where they were all that they couldn't figure out
how to get in field goal range or using timeouts, I'm.
Speaker 7 (20:48):
Like, getting, what are they trying to do here?
Speaker 9 (20:55):
So they that's before the half right there. That's messing
up the middle eight for me.
Speaker 3 (20:59):
Right now to actually to this one right here. Whenever
Dak throws the interception, when he when he when he
looks up at the thing trying to figure out what
he did, just looking up and then he looked at
back up again.
Speaker 7 (21:11):
Yeah, all right, now we got I don't know what
this creature is, but it's.
Speaker 10 (21:16):
Some kind of monkey cat, monkey cat. I got what.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
Are those? I don't a monkey cat?
Speaker 3 (21:27):
Some it looked like a monkey, but it looked like
a cat. You don't see that. I give it this
a monkey.
Speaker 8 (21:34):
This don't look like a like a monkey cata. There
you go, hang on, there you go check that don't.
Speaker 2 (21:38):
Like old cat.
Speaker 8 (21:41):
Cat.
Speaker 3 (21:43):
Hilarious.
Speaker 10 (21:44):
So arms open, like what are we doing?
Speaker 3 (21:46):
Like what?
Speaker 6 (21:46):
Okay, I know exactly what that is. That was me
last week when they had three penalties called up the
giants and one on the cowboys created.
Speaker 3 (21:54):
The whole thing.
Speaker 8 (21:55):
That's crazy that you got that?
Speaker 2 (21:57):
What are we doing?
Speaker 8 (21:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (21:59):
I don't even want to answered. That's a fun. That's
a fun. Steven got to call somebody about this. How
they can get three penalty and ceedee lamb go ha
just run down back, just just running down down again.
Speaker 2 (22:13):
Crazy.
Speaker 8 (22:13):
I like that. That's that's you got it right there.
Speaker 2 (22:15):
That was last week.
Speaker 3 (22:16):
That was everybody last everybody monkey cat chat saying the
chance is a lemur, lemur lembers don't have the tail
like that.
Speaker 7 (22:32):
Lemurs have black No, this is some monkey something, not cats.
Speaker 3 (22:37):
Something that is a fictional creature.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
All right.
Speaker 7 (22:40):
Now we got a bear cub, a little cub.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
Don't do it on the internet.
Speaker 3 (22:51):
Cub sad bear means sad bear. So the last one
was one day Robinson running running past Don Wilson. This
one is lead neighbors running find that.
Speaker 9 (23:01):
It could be a clouded leoper. That's a that's a leopard.
A mark mark is a small cab.
Speaker 6 (23:10):
I will just like if you give it the picture,
he'll tell you what it is.
Speaker 3 (23:13):
Oh, this is a mean okay, I gotcha, go ahead,
go ahead.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
We're saying again, all right, the sad bear I know
that is.
Speaker 8 (23:21):
I got this one.
Speaker 9 (23:22):
This one right here was me in the press box
when I realized that the Cowboys pass rush was not.
Speaker 8 (23:27):
Going to get home and get the Giants.
Speaker 9 (23:30):
I was like, what did I talk about all week?
But yeah, that's that's that's sad. That's sad me right there,
realizing the Cowboys pass rush was just not getting home
that game.
Speaker 3 (23:38):
There's week one, Miles Sanders fifty yards in the very
next play fumbling.
Speaker 6 (23:44):
And right along with that, this is my man, Jayden
blew through. I wish I could go outside and play.
Speaker 8 (23:53):
You're two for two on this.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
I wish I could go play it.
Speaker 7 (23:57):
That's funny, all right. Now, we got a bunch of grannies.
For grannies, they're all standing up in celebration, arms up
in the air, celebrating.
Speaker 3 (24:09):
Mickey ran Sham and like Bill Jones or something, and
Bill Jones celebrating anything.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
Man, this is ags and that's not right doing that.
I'm doing that.
Speaker 8 (24:24):
I think it's brilliant. I take no offense to that. Yeah,
that's all, that's all. It's brad. Well, we're all happy
about that. My guy knocked the field goal, game winner.
Speaker 2 (24:35):
Yeah, it's a game winner, right, that's definitely Aubrey.
Speaker 6 (24:38):
That's everybody in the audience when Aubrey hit sixty four
yards everybody all right.
Speaker 7 (24:43):
Now. We got a sloth and the he has two
pictures and he just kind of contemplating and both pictures
are kind of fading into a sunset and it says
knowledge is power, and he's just like, hmmmm, knowledge is power.
Speaker 3 (25:00):
Sad sloths that might be Cowboy fans wishing we had
a great pass rusher, just a one man band that
could tear it all up by him MICHAEH.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
Parsons. He wasn't gonna say his name, Marson.
Speaker 3 (25:13):
As people think about Pack of Marsions, what would you say?
Speaker 8 (25:18):
What would this defense be like if we had a
pass rusher?
Speaker 3 (25:23):
So so many times you know, you know what that
is that it's me sitting back on my couch or
whatever I'm doing while the game is on, thinking what
would happen if you would have just kept Old Boy
but just traded a second to go get Kenny Clark.
If you can have Clark and Michael for you just
having a party rider, I know there, I just I
just don't know there just did this.
Speaker 2 (25:42):
I just don't know.
Speaker 6 (25:43):
And I've heard other people say that I just don't
know if the package, Like, I don't think the packers
are shopping him. I think the only way they getting
rid of Kenny Clark is if they're getting Michael Parsons.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
I just don't know you're gonna get it.
Speaker 3 (25:53):
But man, I just want them to be silly enough
to do it.
Speaker 9 (25:55):
I know, I know, man, that could be that be
covered two again, like cover two again, a single high.
Speaker 6 (26:08):
That's the Bears thinking like, well, if they run that cover,
they're looking forward to it.
Speaker 7 (26:15):
All Right now, we have a cute little seal, the
cutest little thing, smiling with eyes closed and just so happy.
Speaker 9 (26:24):
That's healthy Dak Prescott right there, sir, that's healthy moving
around from the pocket, throwing the ball, finding guys down
the field. But like first third downs, beyond the sticks,
throwing the ball down the field, that's that's that's Dak Prescott.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
That's shoddy. Last week, after that game, he was so proud.
He was just so proud. It was this.
Speaker 6 (26:44):
It was just yeah, they're relieved, like and I'm just
happy right now my team just won and in a
game where we probably should have the c and we we.
Speaker 8 (26:55):
Want we want.
Speaker 10 (26:56):
We played with our food today, Yeah did you have
one batch?
Speaker 5 (27:01):
No?
Speaker 3 (27:01):
No, just that shody yeah, shoddy.
Speaker 12 (27:04):
Yeah, all right.
Speaker 7 (27:05):
Now we got a tombstone that says it was lit
fam m hmm the locker.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
Room last week.
Speaker 8 (27:14):
The tombstone though, Derek.
Speaker 3 (27:16):
I'll tell you. I'll tell you watching Sounds of the Sideline.
O God like our every know when when when Sounds
of the Sideline comes out like hey, yeah it's lit
famly or okay, so why not? Ye?
Speaker 7 (27:32):
This means for the older people, this means like buy
peace out.
Speaker 9 (27:38):
Something that's what like, yeah, we're done.
Speaker 3 (27:43):
With that if we if we if we get to
week thirteen, we're not spying. We're still forty for forty
nine cover three some crazy Yeah that'll that'll take me
out of there if if defense makes no adjustments m hm.
Trying to think was all the Cowboys end up having
losing season. That'd be terrible, that'd be horrific.
Speaker 8 (28:05):
I don't know. You got me on this one. Ag.
The great words of what rowin cabinet.
Speaker 3 (28:11):
Got me like it was cool, but I'm out of there. Yeah,
they killed me.
Speaker 9 (28:16):
What is something that they put in the past of
this team that we've kind of we kind of went
into it thinking that it was lit.
Speaker 3 (28:23):
Watching the Cowboys nineties nineties documentary Jerry Jerry.
Speaker 8 (28:27):
That's in the past.
Speaker 3 (28:28):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Like, boy, this Cowboys was fantastic. I
was dead now it was.
Speaker 7 (28:34):
I think like an example for this one would be,
let's say all of a sudden, other running backs start
running up all over the field gaining yards, and then
you had a good run defense, and now it's like, damn,
we're done with that.
Speaker 10 (28:49):
It was lit. I guess while it lasted. Now it's over.
Speaker 3 (28:52):
You say the same thing about us being a good
pass res union. I was here all lost seas saying, man,
we could be one of the best past resh units
in the league, and now we can't beat Marcus Bowen.
Oh boy.
Speaker 6 (29:03):
So thinking about the past and what the Cowboys are now,
I think the past rush probably fits this more than
anything else. I think we all probably took franted how
good the past rush, and.
Speaker 10 (29:15):
It's like, now that one's good.
Speaker 8 (29:19):
That was a tough one.
Speaker 2 (29:19):
That was okay, now we got I didn't even understand it.
I'm just old.
Speaker 3 (29:22):
Yeah, but now you do.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
I do now I'm gonna use it, not gonna use
it. It was lit.
Speaker 10 (29:28):
Now we have a dog.
Speaker 2 (29:31):
Retiring from in Costa Rica, but his place.
Speaker 7 (29:34):
Is like in shock because we're in a vacation hat
and he's at the beach.
Speaker 10 (29:39):
But he's just like kind of.
Speaker 9 (29:40):
Like, oh he's in shot shock right kind of deal
mm hmm.
Speaker 10 (29:48):
Or however else you want to interpret that picture.
Speaker 9 (29:51):
I kind of felt like that it maybe it kind
of looked I go back to Dak and maybe like
all the haters, doubters, all those people kind of looking
at him like, you know, kind of cruising down. I'm
out of here kind of a deal, but kind of
giving him that look. I don't know, maybe I'm thinking
too much here.
Speaker 3 (30:06):
That's everybody first day at Oxnard, like boys, beautiful light.
Here we on vacationable boy, the football seams about the tyro.
Speaker 2 (30:15):
Work is on that.
Speaker 8 (30:15):
Yeah, you're seeing what's on the horizon.
Speaker 6 (30:17):
But yet there's Jerry and ox nerd after he sees
a player go down. Oh yeah, everything's good, but oh my,
that's yeah. And we see that usually every at least
once using during trance, somebody will go down.
Speaker 7 (30:29):
For us watching the micup Parson situation, developing.
Speaker 2 (30:34):
It's gonna be okay. I think I don't know, but
it wasn't.
Speaker 10 (30:38):
All right, that's fine.
Speaker 2 (30:40):
This one's easy. I think we all have.
Speaker 7 (30:42):
Is the classic meme of the little girl smiling right
out the camera with a full house burning down in
flames in the background.
Speaker 8 (30:53):
Classic meme, uh, defensive staff.
Speaker 3 (30:58):
If we don't make no adjustice, it's.
Speaker 9 (31:02):
Kind of like, oh, I'm just watching anybody.
Speaker 6 (31:05):
Cowboy might might be right now, Like, okay, yeah.
Speaker 3 (31:12):
That's Kyla Williams after after running out there covering three
and no spy again.
Speaker 6 (31:17):
That's that's that's definitely Russell Wilson last week.
Speaker 2 (31:21):
Yeah, I can I can work with this.
Speaker 3 (31:23):
Yeah, Passes, what was it? They said that it is
not a real animal. It's a cat slash human. It's
a it's a humanoid cat, and I said humanoid cat.
I'm cutting check g BT off because they're saying weird stuff.
Speaker 10 (31:37):
So you know, I'm gonna have to do some research.

monkey cat too, Yeah.
Speaker 7 (34:48):
Because it looked like a monkeycit monkey cat meme because
it looks like a cat.
Speaker 3 (34:52):
Looks like a monkey. If a monkeycat was a thing,
what it is?
Speaker 2 (34:56):
Well, if a monkeycat was, it's not a thing. It's
not a thing.
Speaker 8 (35:00):
Chat said, some human.
Speaker 3 (35:02):
Thing, humanoid, humanoid can't. It's just like a can't with
human features. I was like, man, I ain't right, but
them Bar did the Googles because.
Speaker 2 (35:09):
She's cat tune.
Speaker 3 (35:11):
That gave me all dames and gave you a bad will.
Speaker 6 (35:14):
That's also based on Thirch history.
Speaker 3 (35:18):
You always search stuff.
Speaker 6 (35:20):
Like yeah, they were like we know what this guy
like Catt.
Speaker 8 (35:30):
I got Brian I can do fire arts radio a day.
Speaker 7 (35:35):
Let's start using the incomno when you don't know about incomno.
Speaker 2 (35:49):
Off the trust today?
Speaker 3 (35:51):
Crazy?
Speaker 2 (35:51):
Why all right, let's let's get back to football.
Speaker 8 (35:54):
Get back.
Speaker 6 (35:55):
We need some predictions real quick. I do want to
ask you guys this question about this game. How can
concerned to you about Caleb Williams as a runner, And
if you are, what do you think Dallas needs to
do to try to combat that.
Speaker 3 (36:06):
I'm half in half. I'm not concerned if makes If
he makes the call, they would need to be spying
Kayla wives. If he doesn't make the call, that we're
not spying Kayler wives. I have fear of Kayla Willis
running football, So I'm half half with it.
Speaker 9 (36:20):
How good is your discipline? You know you're just you're
going to find out real quick. At six you know
had nine rushes. Six the have been first downs and
you know, and obviously Dallas is not one of the
better teams when it comes to down with quarterback runs.
Speaker 8 (36:32):
This one's gonna be difficult this week.
Speaker 7 (36:35):
Yeah, I mean they're going to have to figure something out.
But if you're the Bears, I mean you are planning
making that part of your game plan. If you're looking
at what the defense, the Cowboys defense has been doing
this past few weeks, and you can really take advantage
of them this week. I'm counting on the Cowboys offense
once again to be the ones who take over, be
(36:58):
consistent and start scoring points.
Speaker 6 (36:59):
Yeah, it's becoming clear to me that this team really
is going to be a team that's driven by its
offense and it's defense. What its job is going to
be is make the stops when they need to make
the stops. You don't have to stop a team the
whole game. You got to figure out in the moments
that matter the most, can you get a stop. And
that's how I'll judge this defense because I don't think
they will be winning games necessarily because the defense plays stellar.
(37:20):
They just got to make the stops it needs to make,
all right, which is a bigger advantage. Ibra Flus's familiarity
with Caleb Williams or the Chicago players familiarity with Ebra Flusu's.
Speaker 3 (37:29):
Defense right now, I will say the players knowing Flus's
defense because I feel like even if Flus has an advantage,
he has to show me that he's willing to use it.
So this is just me and my fear of Flus
and what he's gonna do. Flu's got to earn a
little bit of my trust back in mind, you Flues
don't care about what I think. I just camera in
the microphone, do it on das capboards dot com. But
when I see Flu start to make adjustments like that,
(37:52):
then I have a ton of belief in him and
making adjustments. But as of now, it's what the other
guy seeing him.
Speaker 8 (37:58):
Absolutely, he's absolutely right about that.
Speaker 2 (38:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (38:00):
Same if it was a scenario where the first two
weeks we've seen the defense have more positive things, then
I would say the other way around. It would be
a benefit with Ibra Flus knowing Williams. But at this
point it's just you gotta get your act together because
it doesn't matter who the opponent is right now. You
(38:21):
gotta clean up your own mess at the moment because
it doesn't matter what your opponent is.
Speaker 3 (38:26):
Because honestly, Flus has a ton of information on Jalen Hurts.
We all did. Hey man, we know how Hurts gets down.
Not the best processor, he'll run, and you didn't stop
him from running. So Flu's got to show me some
more to trust.
Speaker 6 (38:38):
I'll take the opposite approach on that, just because I
think there is something about knowing a player intimately from
the standpoint quarterback, and this is a quarterback that we
know has had some challenges over the last year, and
ebra Flus was his head coach, and my guess is
ebra Flus knows exactly what gave him the most problems
when they face specific defenses. Now the question just will
(38:58):
become does ebra Flues have the players and the scheme
to give him those fits that he knows that that
he'll get when it comes to those particular situations. But
make no mistake about it, I think ebra Flues knows
what he likes and what he doesn't like, and hopefully
he can take advantage of what he doesn't For.
Speaker 9 (39:15):
First two games, tell you to play single high against
this guy. If abra Flues goes out there and gets
a melion to cover two, then everything you just said,
Derek means absolutely.
Speaker 6 (39:23):
Nothing, absolutely and we'll see We'll see all right, let's
go and get our predictions.
Speaker 2 (39:28):
Go around the table. Well, who's gonna win? Give me
a score.
Speaker 3 (39:30):
I got the Cowboys beating the hell out the Bears
because I'm gonna do that every single week. However, I
got Cowboys forty two, Bears thirty.
Speaker 2 (39:38):
Nine on them.
Speaker 3 (39:41):
It flipped. Oh wow, it flip.
Speaker 8 (39:44):
You know it's funny you say that.
Speaker 3 (39:48):
Boys picking on me, and y'all ain't saying nothing. Derek
ain't doing nothing about it, laying out, y'all. Get y'all
get this, lady.
Speaker 8 (39:58):
I tell you what. I don't think you're wrong.
Speaker 9 (40:00):
Hey, I think every week is going to be a
shootout game until you kind of get you know, if
you get clowny, if he's involved, we'll see if he's
involved this week, we'll see if you can get a
pass rush. We'll see if you can get some guys
healthy back in the secondary. Maybe I you know, who knows.
But this defense is a big, big question market. They
shook my confidence last week against the Giants. This this
thing's got a big.
Speaker 8 (40:20):
Number on it.
Speaker 9 (40:21):
At Cowboys thirty five and the Bears thirty.
Speaker 7 (40:26):
Mm, I was thinking thirty five twenty seven Cowboys. Of course,
I think the Cowboys offense has everything he needs to
be able to continue to perform at a consistent level.
But the defense, once again, they got to show up too.
They got to prove it. And this is a game
that based on what we've seen in the past two weeks,
(40:49):
you know what to expect, and I won't change my
mind until they show it to me. So I'm gonna
go with Cowboys win. But it's not gonna be a
chill out, easy, busy type of all right.
Speaker 6 (41:01):
I also think the Cowboys win, but I think it's
another week where they get to forty. I think it's
going to be a common theme for them this year.
They're going to be in the forties a lot. But
I do think that the defense will get better. I
still don't think the defense will fix all their problems,
so I think they'll still give up thirty one points,
but I think there will be more stops in what
we saw last week. And I just think I have
(41:23):
to believe at this point that all these players just
didn't become bad players overnight, because some of the players
some of the problems they had last week were some
of your better players that were making them. So my
thought is, I think This is a lot about the
fact they're adapting to this new system and what they're
being asked to do, and that they're going to have
to get better at that.
Speaker 8 (41:42):
Now.
Speaker 6 (41:43):
If we get into week seven and week eight and
the same things are still happening, now, I will put
it more on the players and just say they're just
not performing well. But right now, I think they're having
to adapt. I think they'll get a little bit better
