I first met Melanie on my first film "The True Adventures of Wolfboy" so this was great getting a chance to sit down and talk to her about her journey in this industry.
She was so honest about how the industry can be so tough and how she came in and out for years. We learned how she started her production company with her partner, how she became a locations manager, and how she balances the two.
Two things to take away from this interview is to try it all, how else will you know what you like and what you don't like.
The other thing is don't be afraid to say yes when a opportunity is presented to just because you've never done it before.
