La niña testaruda y las castañas de cajú
«¿Y para qué nosotros a todas horas pondríamos en peligro nuestra vida?». 1 Corintios 15:30.
¡Niña, bájate de ahí!
La abuela Sebastiana estaba preocupada por su nieta, que se había subido a un muro para recoger castañas de cajú. El árbol era alto y la niña testaruda utilizaba un invento para alcanzar los frutos: una botella de plástico cortada por la mitad, pegada a un palo de escoba. - ¡Ya bajo, abuela! ¡Enseguida...! -gritó Mariana desde el muro, intentando no caerse.
Me gustaría decir que esa historia terminó bien y que terminaron la tarde cálida con un delicioso jugo de frutas, pero ya te imaginarás qué pasó.
Mariana perdió el equilibrio y cayó del muro: ella, su palo para recoger fruta y las castañas de cajú. Más tarde, en el hospital, con mucho dolor y lágrimas, la abuela, incluso más afligida, retaba a la niña testaruda.
- ¡Es muy peligroso subirte sobre el muro, Mariana!
Siempre podemos aprender de lo que les ocurre a otras personas. El brazo quebrado de mi amiga me enseñó que podemos evitar el peligro al escuchar a personas sabias, que saben mucho más del mundo que nosotros.

Peligro: Situación en la que puedes terminar lastimado o que es una amenaza para alguien.
