De machtsbalans in de wereld is aan het verschuiven, en dat maakt Nederland ontzettend kwetsbaar. Volgens Pieter-Jaap Aalbersberg, sinds 2019 Nationaal Coördinator Terrorismebestrijding en Veiligheid, is het dan ook geen kwestie óf we te maken krijgen met maatschappij-ontwrichtende situaties, maar wanneer. Op 1 september neemt hij afscheid van zijn functie en gaat hij met pensioen. Een goed moment dus om de balans op te maken. Wat zijn de dreigingen voor het Nederland van nu? Hoe maken we ons land weerbaar? En welke rol kan religie daarin spelen? De NCTV maakt zich zorgen over de radicalisering van met name jonge mannen.
