Marjon also discusses what it means to be a Black engineer and how taking initative has allowed her to tap into her creativity and create multiple streams of income.
About Ms. Marjon:
Ms. Marjon is a radio show and podcast host that has worked extensively in the media space while managing a successful career as an industrial engineer.
A graduate of both University of Southern California and North Carolina A&T State University, she is the owner of Mastermind Communications, L.L.C. a communications agency that specializes in mass media, public relations, and marketing. In the past, she has worked with various celebrities such as Aerosmith, KISS, Linkin Park, Metallica, Britney Spears, Carmelo Anthony, The Isley Brothers, Magic Johnson, Stevie Wonder and Evander Holyfield.
She is the current host and producer of the iHeartRadio podcast, "The Convo with Ms. Marjon" and also the "R&B Soul Groove", a radio show that airs weekly on WHFR 89.3FM.
In addition to radio and podcasting, she has enjoyed a successful career as an engineer where she has worked with some of the top brands in the world including Mercedes Benz, General Motors, Caterpillar, Suzuki, and Yamaha.
Ms. Marjon divides her time between her hometown Detroit and her second home Atlanta. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
