The detour makes the teams choose between executing synchronized robotic choreography or fulfilling sake orders for thirsty samurai. After a Blind U-Turn, teams race to a nondescript parking space in Akihabara, where Phil waits at the pit stop with an Express Pass for the first arriving team and a heartfelt “Sayonara” to the last arriving team.
