Begrafenissen zijn zelden vrolijke gebeurtenissen. Maar het "House of the Dragon afl. 7" herinnerde ons Anousha Nzume, Mariam El Maslouhi, Manju Reijmer en Ebissé Wakjira eraan dat – toen het lichaam van de overledene in de zee tuimelde en haar broer erachteraan liep; toen een neef ongepast dronken werd; toen een ander een draak stal en vervolgens met zijn neven vocht, waarbij hij de neus van een van hen brak en zijn eigen oog werd uitgestoken; toen de dronken neef zijn halfneven ervan beschuldigde onwettig te zijn, waardoor een duister (zij het open) familiegeheim werd bezegeld; toen de schoonzus haar stiefdochter, die net terugkwam van het slapen met haar oom, met een dolk te lijf ging; toen de ouders beneden kwamen en een man, waarvan zij dachten dat het hun zoon was, brandend in de open haard aantroffen – de dingen een beetje extra zijn in Westeros.
