Welcome everyone to
Divas.
That Care's first virtualpodcast series, and we are going
to talk about Boss Babe Summer.
Leveling Up in Life and Careeris the title for this first
virtual podcast.
I am Joyce Benning with theRobust Lifestyles Show, and I am
(00:54):
so excited to have with metoday Anne Klossing and her and
I, under this umbrella title, weare going to talk about live
life in service.
So with that, anne, would youplease do a brief introduction
to our listeners today?
Speaker 3 (01:14):
Certainly I am so
happy to be here.
I had said to Joyce, it's beena few moons since we've gotten
together, so I was reallyexcited to be here today.
But I am an author and I'vebeen in a couple of different co
authored books and I'm workingon my own and I am a channeler
and I like to think of myself asa storyteller to the soul.
(01:37):
It's a storyteller, I tell thestory of the soul.
So when I work with my clientsit's a process called channel
clearing and I just do a deepdive with their souls and it's
just such a beautiful downloadand I love what I do.
So yeah, I'm a storyteller tothe soul.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Oh, I love that.
A storyteller of the soul, andyes, and Anne puts out the most
beautiful newsletters and hassome of the most beautiful
channelings.
I follow her on Facebook andreceive her newsletters and she
is one magical woman.
So with that, anne, how wouldyou like to talk about live life
(02:16):
in service?
Speaker 3 (02:19):
It's been interesting
In the overall umbrella title.
I kind of had to chuckle theboss babe.
It's like at 58, it's like, hmm, I'm a babe.
I haven't been referred to as ababe for a long, long time.
So I had to chuckle over that.
Living a life in service andwhen I decided to quit my
(02:42):
full-time job back in 2019, Ihad visions of finishing my book
and that I was just going to dothis entrepreneurial path and
the book was going to lead me.
And then what happens is I letmy ego start driving the bus
driving the bus of life and itjust was not working.
(03:05):
So my book is called Findingyou Is Finding God the
interrelationship betweenthought, universal law, soul
agreements and the humanexperience.
Unless a publisher tells me tochange that subtitle, it's what
it is right now, but I startedwriting that book in 2018.
(03:27):
I took a Hay House WritersWorkshop and it was the best
thing I ever did, and then I wasstill working at a full service
agricultural center.
So if I'm not sure how rurallisteners you'll know exactly
what I'm talking about, but forthe non-rural listener, it is
(03:47):
all fertilizer, all chemistry, all seed, and in the springtime,
in the middle of Wisconsin, itjust, I'm in southwest Wisconsin
, but it was early morning andlate at night, it was a very
demanding job and it wasliterally eating me up.
So I had made the decision toquit work on my book for a while
(04:08):
and then I took a part-time job.
So all the while I was workingon the book and then I was
introduced to Jack Canfield andI took that was when COVID and
everything was going on that wasJack's first Zoom teaching,
zoom tutorial and it was so cool, cool and I met so many people
and I never had Facebook and Ithought Facebook was the devil
(04:30):
and um.
But because of that I wasforced to create account and now
look at me now.
So it's.
This life in service can bequite challenging and sometimes
I was in service and sometimes, and most of the time, not in
service.
So, just to kind of give you anidea, I did work part-time for
(04:53):
our bank as a crop insuranceadministrator and also as an
agent, and I did that through2023.
And I did that through 2023.
And then the 2024, I've justkind of been, I'll say,
floundering, you know, like afish out of water, but that's
how I learned.
You know it's getting out offear, and when you're in fear
(05:18):
and you're afraid to move, you're not in service.
So who are you in service to?
So I'm very spiritual.
That doesn't mean I'm religious.
I had a very formal, dogmaticBaptist upbringing and now I
just I love it when people areinto the religion and they're
(05:42):
not pushy with it but it's theirthing.
Great you're, you're doing.
Great.
When it's the other way aroundand you're looking at push
energy and pushing their ideasand pushing their thoughts on,
that's where I kind of like, oh,not for me.
So any spirituality is gettingto understand you and realizing
(06:07):
that there's two of you.
So the two of you.
The person that wakes up in themorning, walks to the bathroom,
looks in the mirror.
That's the personality, that'sthe ego, that is the.
I have a start date and I havean end date, so I'm born and I'm
going to die.
Then there's the other you thatwhen you stand in the mirror
(06:32):
and you look at yourself rightin the eyes and look into the
center of your eyes and you tellyourself I love you and I
really really love you.
That glimmer in your eye is thesecond you, the infinite you,
and I really really love you.
That glimmer in your eye is thesecond you, the infinite you.
That is your God source.
(06:55):
So when I talk with people of mygeneration or older and they're
not comfortable about what I doand I start talking about and
(07:21):
they're not comfortable aboutwhat I do and I start talking
about.
You are God.
They retract because they weretaught through dogma that God is
out there, outside of you andGod is in your heart, whether
you call it your higher self, your infinite being Louise Hay
used to call it her inner ding.
Whatever is, you know, creationitself, life, love, whatever
you want to call it, Iinterchange them all.
But your soul comes from sourceenergy, the creation of all,
(07:43):
and therefore you are creation.
So God is a formless substance.
It's formless.
So you come here and you'reborn and you were chosen.
Every person was chosen, chosen.
How special is that?
(08:04):
How special are you to be thatexpression of creation?
So when I say in service, wereyou in service to?
Are you in service to theperson that you're seeing in?
Speaker 2 (08:17):
the mirror.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
Or are you in service
to the light inside your
eyeballs, the infinite side ofyou?
And I've learned some hardlessons since the last time I've
seen Joyce and I had ainteraction and out of all my
last five years of being aroundsupportive communities such as
(08:43):
Canfield and this was not it butthat particular instance was
the first time I had someonetest my vision.
They questioned it and I feltlacerated and I felt gutted
because I was not acting fromthat light within me and I
(09:05):
wounded and went back to the oldwounded victim person that I
used to be many, many years agoand not that long ago, and that
old reaction came through.
But what I realized was that Iwasn't in service.
So do I agree with what thisperson said to me?
(09:26):
The only thing I do agree withthat person on is that it was
started.
I don't know you very well, soI agree with that.
The rest of it I'm throwing outthe window.
But I've taken some things inbetween and Colette Barron-Reed
is a Canadian author and sheloves Oracle cards.
(09:47):
She has all kinds of Oracledecks and I had taken a Hay
House Writer's Bootcamp just inJune and I listened to her
speech and I had tears comingout of my eyes, Because if
you've ever written a book, evenif it's a chapter in a
co-authored book, it's being inspirit, Inspiration is in spirit
(10:11):
, it's being in service of thebook and the book chose you as
an author.
If you're an entrepreneur, yourbusiness chose you and and it's
getting intimate with the lifeof the book the essence of the
(10:34):
book, the essence of yourbusiness.
And I even take it farther thanthat.
And if you're working somewhereand you're working for someone,
are you still in service?
That doesn't mean that you'regoing to bend over backwards for
everybody, but are you at yourbest in service to the one who
(10:56):
breathes you as you go aboutyour day?
Or are you looking at all thepeople around you and seeing
what they're not doing andtrying to control that?
That is not in service, andtrying to control that that is
not in service?
In service is knowing whatyou're here to do and being the
(11:17):
best that you can possibly be,and compassionate, with grace.
And I'm at a podium right nowand I'm talking to you, and do I
still get angry?
Oh yeah, but it's knowing whenyou can separate the two and age
(11:38):
.
To me, maturity helps with that.
You know I I do not want to goback to my 20s, I do not want to
go back to my 30s.
Life started getting really goodfor me at age 50.
And it just every day keepsgetting better and better and
better.
And what I finally learned at58 years old is that why wasn't
(12:01):
this book that I started back in2019, thought of it in 2018,
had an acupuncturist and achiropractor going.
You need to tell your story.
You need to tell your story, write a book, write a book,
write a book.
And it just kept coming up andI meet people oh, you need to
write a book, man, you got toget your story out there.
And then I have an interactionwith the ways.
Hey, out of the blue, she comesthrough minding my own business
(12:25):
and I my dear she started herbusiness at age 60.
And at that time that was thatinteraction happened.
(12:46):
In 2017, I think I'd have toread.
I've got my notes but I was sostarstruck because Louise Hay
came through and once she wasgone, I got my notebook out and
started scribbling.
Her message was we need you towrite because there's a wave of
writers coming.
And I was sitting in a hotelroom looking over the
(13:08):
Mississippi River.
Lynn had a fire conference thatweekend.
He'd left for the morning and Iwas just sitting there watching
the view, watching the river goby, and there was wakes on the
water.
It's a large span and it waswindy that day.
And she said, like the waves onthe water, there is a wave of
writers coming.
We need you to write.
(13:28):
So that was the call.
That was the call, and just notbeing in service to that book is
why it's taken me this long tofinish it.
So take me to June 2025, andI'm listening to Colette
(13:53):
Barron-Reed about being inservice and these questions,
these beautiful questions thatshe gave us.
So my book.
I had to ask question who areyou?
And then let it come throughwho are you serving?
And let that come through.
Well, I took major notes andI've shared them with so many
people.
So if anybody wants them, justget in touch with me.
(14:15):
I'd be happy to give them toyou.
But it's the same questionsthat you can use for anything in
life, and I've taken it.
I've written my businesschannel clearing.
That's a channel clearingplatform.
I've got several things underthat and the answers that I've
gotten back that were given tome through spirit.
(14:35):
I read them just about everyday and every time that I go to
my book I do read that page inmy journal to get my head
actually move out of my head andinto my heart, which is
something you've heard me preachon before, which is moving from
your thinking brain down yourheart space, because that's
(14:58):
where it all resides yes, oh, Iagree a hundred percent, because
a lot of what you were saying Imean to me it, it's going to
your heart.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
even when you look in
that mirror and, like you said,
you see the ego sees.
If your hair's in place or ifyou're, everything looks just so
for you to go out and face yourday.
The heart is saying you'rebeautiful just the way you are
and I love you.
(15:32):
And now go out in the world andshare your light, rather than
worrying about everything elsethat us humans tend to worry
about.
And that just came to my mindwhen you said that about looking
in the mirror.
Speaker 3 (15:49):
Yeah, it's.
I think it's a challenge forwomen.
So for the babes I think it's achallenge especially.
It doesn't matter what age oryou know what your upbringing is
, and I visited with a lovelylady yesterday who had was
raised by a narcissistic mother.
(16:09):
I can't even put myself in hershoes.
Yeah that because I adore mymother, I have a fantastic
relationship with my mother andI can't imagine being belittled
and mentally abused like that.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
And my only relation
that I have to it was my second
marriage.
He had narcissistic tendencies,so it's like, oh, that is just
gut-wrenching as a child Becauseyou don't have any other
knowledge.
No, that's your environment,right?
So you have nothing to compareit to and that becomes normal.
(16:48):
Yeah, beautiful writer she is.
I can't wait till her bookcomes out, just a beautiful.
Speaker 2 (16:56):
Well, I just love how
you were motivated by all this
to to basically level up in yourlife and career, to start
getting back into your heart andwriting this book.
And I love what you said aboutinspiration.
It's in spirit right and that'sexactly what it sounds like you
(17:17):
have been.
You've been inspired and yourinspiration has come out to be
able to go back to writing thisbook.
And, like you said on, thechanneling came to you and that
you needed to write.
And to me that is so touchingbecause it's just an affirmation
(17:39):
that you know you're doing whatthe universe, god, angels, what
they want you to be doing inthis life to share your life
with others.
Speaker 3 (17:51):
Yeah, and not
everyone is meant to write a
book, no, but there's a lot ofpeople that desire is like it's
over 80 percent.
Yeah, isn't that amazing.
That is the desire to tell andshare your story.
Right to tell and share yourstory, and it's brave to do so.
Yeah, especially when you comefrom challenging situations and
(18:15):
the abuse too, there's just somany people you can come
encapsulated and be in your ownvictimhood.
But then when you startlistening to other people and
it's not about comparison, butit does give you some perception
on, ooh, I had it much easierthan her that's when you can
(18:35):
open a corner of your mind to alittle grace and compassion for
yourself and also grace andcompassion for the perpetrator.
So it takes a long time to getthere.
Well, it doesn't, but for formost of it and I'll speak for us
I'll say me, it took me a longtime to get to that place of
(18:58):
looking at my grandfather'spicture not wanting to vomit all
over it, you know and forpeople that don't know, my back
history with that I was fondledby my maternal grandfather when
I was like three, four, fiveyears old, four, five years old.
So that hangs with you.
And as you have trauma likethat and I thought the day that
(19:26):
that man would die I would feelbetter, I did not.
His death brought me nothing.
It brought no closure.
It brought nothing other than Inever had a chance to tell him
why.
Why would you do that.
That's awful.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
So in the meantime, all thoseyears, our egocentric mind, that
personality, keeps making allthese stories up and we keep
(19:49):
believing that, or I keptbelieving them.
So strike, we put Anne.
So it's very interesting.
But back to the inspiration.
So I'm looking at my notes.
See how excited I am about this.
Yes, looking at my notes fromColette Baron-Reed, she
described inspiration versusmotivation.
So inspiration is that inspirit, you're in spirit, you're
(20:13):
in tune, you're in flow.
Motivation you're motivatedbecause you're going to get
something, there's an outcomethat you want.
And she said there, you candrift off target when you're on
motivation versus in spirit, inflow.
And it says if you forgetspirit, you will get stuck.
(20:34):
Yes, yes.
And it says if you forgetspirit, you will get stuck, yes,
yes.
And as soon as she said that, that's when the tears just
started rolling down my face.
It's like, oh my god, I havenot been in spirit with my book.
And when she was done I was soeager to get to her exercise and
ask those questions.
You know who are you, who doyou want to?
(20:54):
What is your message to theworld?
And she had a few more of them.
I've got them scatteredthroughout, but it was just.
I just came and come back tothat and I would all through my
healing transition when I reallystarted diving into me and
spirit and metaphysical, andwhat is and who am I, and I'm
(21:15):
broken and I'm not broken and ohyeah, I'm broken, and this
thing going back and forth likea pendulum.
I got a set of several oraclecards and I kept getting the
in-service card and it, it, it'slike okay, I get it, but he
(21:35):
didn't get it.
Yeah, and you keep getting thosesame cards periodically.
This is you're not there, gently Spirit never, nags, no,
they can be firm, and it's not.
It's the information thatyou're ready to hear, but you
(21:59):
don't want to hear it.
So, as soon as it comes out,it's not harsh, it's always
loving, always loving, but it'swhen you hear it you're like, oh
man, they're so right, so right, and it's not right and wrong.
It's just ready, so ready, soready to address what they just
(22:23):
gave you.
You're so ready.
Speaker 2 (22:26):
Oh, oh, that, yes,
that is, that is so true.
And and like you said, reallythe spirit comes firmly but
softly.
They're not going to be theones over here screaming and
yelling that this is what youneed to do.
They're that soft voice andlike through the oracle cards.
If our listeners have notexperienced oracle cards, they
(22:51):
are amazing.
I have a hard time saying thatword.
To me, they're more of auniverse angel spirits talking
to you is what I feel they are, because every time I pull the
cards, it's exactly what I needto hear, and it is just amazing
how it wraps itself.
(23:11):
Your whole day wraps into thatand it's so true to what you're
dealing with on a daily basisand there's like millions,
there's, there's thousands ofdecks that you, oh, yes, use
from.
Speaker 3 (23:23):
Yes, and what I
always advise people is to, if
you're going to buy them online, then look at the cover, look at
the artistry, that, and how doyou feel with it?
Yes, because there's nothingworse than picking up a deck of
cards and going, oh, this is notfor me, right, right, but I
have.
(23:44):
One of my decks is Kyle Gray, angel prayers and I.
That's the deck I've been usinga lot lately and I have some of
Doreen virtuesue's.
But Doreen Virtue took anotherpath and anything she had the
rights to you cannot get.
But there are a few card decksthat you can get through Hay
House, because she publishedthose cards through Hay House,
(24:04):
and I have her Archangel Michaeldeck, archangel Raphael.
There's so many good decks outthere and I've got friends that
have Oracle card decks that areawesome and it just eventually,
that is on my way out way outlist I might just, but I have a
data marketing specialist andJackie takes care of my um
(24:29):
weekly newsletter.
She sets up my website and then, when things get going, then
we'll really start to funnelmore into that.
But I think she would reallylove to put together.
So if Jackie ever listened tothis, I'll just let her run with
it here, because I have so muchstuff out there that you can
take snippets and snippets andsnippets and that's the kind of
(24:51):
stuff it's like I'd get into theartistry.
But to sift through my oldstuff, that's really good that I
say it's really good Cause it'sit's channeled, it's not me,
I'm just the radio playing theirmusic and some of it's just so
good and it's like I don't wantto take time to do that.
(25:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (25:13):
That's awesome.
Well, as we're coming to aclose of this show, which has
gone so quickly, you have somuch knowledge to share with our
listeners.
What is maybe just some finalwords you would like to tell our
listeners in wrapping up thison live life in service this on
(25:35):
live life in service.
Speaker 3 (25:37):
If you are an
entrepreneur and you feel stuck
or bored, then I would recommendgoing back and asking those
questions to your business Am Iserving you well?
And then just let it comethrough and don't be embarrassed
or ashamed by what comesthrough, because they're very
(26:00):
honest and, like I said, it's ina gentle way.
It's never you're not doingthis.
It never comes out like that atall and if it does, that's your
ego talking.
Then you're not getting theinformation.
So if there's shoulds or needsor anything like that, that's
(26:20):
your ego coming through.
So if you're that businessperson who's stuck, then go
inward and how may I be ofservice?
Because maybe that business andthat business will tell you if
it's time to end.
It will tell you that and maybeyou're going off in a new
direction.
(26:40):
If you are someone who isdabbling with something and it
feels like this burning desire, you know this, something keeps
calling you.
So, mind you, I had the call towrite the book way back in 2017
.
And we're in 2025.
That is something that doesn'tgo away and it will wake you up
(27:04):
in the middle of the night.
It will wake you up in themiddle of the night.
So what is that specialsomething within you?
Are you opening a daycare?
Are you opening a daycare?
Are you opening a nonprofit?
Are you being the best momyou've ever been?
That's the call.
(27:26):
Your purpose will be constant.
Your vocations may revolvearound that.
Did that make sense?
Speaker 2 (27:40):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 3 (27:40):
So your purpose, when
you're ready, will be given to
you and your vocations willrevolve around that.
It doesn't mean that you'regoing to that channel clearing.
Is it for me, that's it andthere's no more.
Then it's going to dry up.
So when it's lived its life,it's lived its life.
(28:03):
So maybe you're being called todo something else.
Are you a woman who is atretirement age and you're going?
Oh my God, I don't know what todo?
Then it's time to sit down withyourself and ask yourself how
am I serving me?
Your purpose is going to comeout.
(28:25):
There's something within youthat maybe you used to do as a
kid that's just dying to comeout and maybe it's just being
happy.
Maybe you've worked hard, you've got a good retirement,
but you've never really had joyand gratitude and compassion and
freedom.
And life is a mirror.
(28:46):
Our pets are mirrors Very much.
Every animal that comes intoyour field has a message, even
if it's wildlife.
So lately mine has been deer, and deer are about stepping in,
being cautious but still beingbrave enough to step out in the
(29:09):
meadow and be seen.
Speaker 2 (29:12):
Beautiful yeah, oh,
yeah, oh.
And what final beautiful wordsto leave with our listeners
