Európska prokurátorka Laura Kövesi pred pár dňami upozornila na to, že sa zo Slovenska stáva centrum daňových podvodníkov. V rozhovore pre Denník N ďalej uviedla, že až tretina nimi vyšetrovaných podvodov s DPH a colných podvodov má prepojenie na ľudí či firmy na Slovensku.
Faktom je, že sa takáto kriminalita vyskytuje všade. To, čo jednotlivé štáty odlišuje, je ich ochota s podvodmi bojovať. Naše policajné štatistiky v rozpore s Kövesiovou navodzujú dojem, že finančná kriminalita má klesajúcu tendenciu.
