What's up everybody? Anton Curley here and welcome
back to the Drop Ship Lifestyle podcast coming to you today with
a quick public service announcement about why now,
literally right now today as you're listening to this is the
perfect time to launch your first or your next drop shipping
store. And this is coming with 15 years

plus of experience in this business seeing the same trends
repeat year after year. And this is a message again for
anybody out there that might have been listening to the
podcast for a while and waiting for the perfect time to start,
or anybody that already has started but has another store
idea in their brain that they can't wait to launch.
My advice again is to do it now.Do it sooner rather than later

before we get into a period where it's going to be much,
much harder. Now before we get into this, I
just want to let you know that I'm coming to you on a very cold
day today here in North Carolina.
It seems like fall is definitelyhere.
It's officially started. And also just want to send my,
you know, best wishes to everybody in Florida because I'm
recording this on what is it Tuesday, October 8th.

And it looks like that hurricaneis about to come through strong
there. So if you're in Florida, stay
safe. Hopefully leave, go somewhere
with some you know better, better looking forecasts and
hopefully you know your, your life back home doesn't get a too
messed up by the time you return.
But with that being said, let's get back to the the message at
hand, which is why now is the perfect time to launch.

Like I had mentioned, I'm comingto you today on the second week
of October and what we are aboutto get into.
As you know, if you've listened to some recent podcast episodes,
is the busiest shopping season of the year, right?
Q4 is here and the actual promotions are about to start.
Now Halloween is not the biggestone, but it definitely counts.

And then of course, we get into to the really big ones, which is
Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas and New Year's.
Now you might just think, oh, Anton's going to tell me to
start now because I can make extra money during the holiday
season. And that's true, right?
I'm not going to say that's not a reason, but that's not the
biggest reason. Now, even if you start now, you
know, on on that side of things,yes, you will be able to launch

with plenty of time. Yes, you will be able to
capitalize on the extra spendingthat comes through during the
holiday season. So that is all well and good.
But the main reason I wanted to send this PSA out to you today,
today is because if you wait toolong, let's just say you wait
six weeks from now or 8 weeks from now and you're like, OK,
now I finally have some time freed up and it's time to launch

my first or my next drop shipping store.
You're going to find yourself ina situation where when you are
reaching out to the brands you want to sell for to become an
authorized retailer, they are not going to be responsive.
And again, I'm telling you this based on 15 years of experience
in this business and seeing the same patterns repeat every year.

Now, is it because they don't want to work with any new
retailers in six to eight weeks?No, it's because they are busy
and their priority shift. Now, if you start today or
within the next couple of weeks,you will be in a position where
it is currently what I'll call the calm before the storm, where
you can reach out to suppliers where they will get back to you
quickly, where you can become anauthorized retailer and get

their products on your store. And within the next 21 days,
especially if you follow my 21 day launch plan, you can have a
store that is live selling for brands that you're authorized to
sell for with traffic again to be ready for Q4.
But if you wait and it gets too close to Black Friday and Cyber
Monday, these suppliers are not going to be responsive because

their priorities again have shifted to order fulfilment, to
dealing with the insane madness that is Q4, when all their other
retailers who are authorized to sell for them are sending them
orders. And their job then is to get
them out the door. So again, what I don't want you
to happen is get to this point amonth from now or two months
from now where you're like, OK, you know, the stars have

aligned. I'm going to launch and then
find yourself in a situation where it takes you two or three
months to actually become profitable.
Whereas if you start now, it could take as little as 21 days.
Again, I just wanted to share this.
It's going to be a super quick episode, but it's because I, I
know what's going to happen. It happens every year.
People, you know, tell me, Anton, I'm trying to reach out
to these brands. I'm not hearing back.

No one's answering the phone. They told me to call them back
in two months. And yeah, again, it's a cycle.
It's normal. But start now.
You will be just fine. You will be set up for success
not only to have those established relationships with
those brands before they really put, you know, the priority of
new retailer approvals, which iswhat we're looking for in the
back burner. You'll be able to have that
(04:34):
locked in with traffic with yourstore looking gorgeous, ready to
make that money and profit all the way through Q4 into Q1 and
of course throughout 2025 instead of having to wait until
2025 to actually start and have your dreams become a reality.
Now, if you're wondering, well, how much time do I have to put
into this? Listen, I always say it's going
to be different for everybody because everybody's coming to

this with different skill sets. Everybody is coming to this with
different levels of resourcefulness.
If you're the type of person that can figure stuff out, ask
questions when they get stuck, you will have no problem
investing anywhere between 30 minutes and an hour a day for
the next 21 days. And again, be set up for success
doesn't mean you never touch your business again, but it
means from then on out, you can be optimizing instead of trying
(05:19):
to get those for sales and becoming profitable.
So 21 days, guys, that's what I want from you.
