On the second DWSC show of this year's Edinburgh Fringe, our guest detective was the fantastic Jamie Lee, who began proceedings by telling us about several mysterious incidents which involved either the messiest, or cleanest perp, depending on your perspective. 

We then hear about a story where the protagonist couldn't waddle his way out of this p-p--particular heist!

T'was the first night of Edinburgh and all through the house, 300 creatures stirred to watch the Drunk Women - and special guest Rachel Galvo - pop some corks and solve some crimes!

Today's episode was recorded at July's Crossed Wires Festival in Sheffield, where not only was it DWSC's debut in that fair city, but they also happened to be joined on stage by bona fide local royalty in the form of Pulp's legendary drummer and man about town, Nick Banks!

Nick kicked off proceedings by recounting not one, but TWO terrifying tales of 1990s superfandom, aided and abetted by props produced ...

What a day it was at DWSC HQ, as not only were we joined by actor and writer of the detective series Karen Pirie*, Emer Kenny, but we also had a visit from fabulous listener (and competition winner) Margareta, who popped over from Sweden to get on the mic and share a mystery of one very slick intruder.

It's the second drop of the week and part two of the latest DWSC live residency. Today the hilarious Matthew Crosby popped by to verify if any of his 'enemies' went out of their way to steal his car. 

Today's case then confirms that reunions are on the whole a very bad idea, often leading to murderous thoughts.

We're at the final DWSC residency of 2025, and are joined by the incredible, Blank Peng, who is arguably the busiest gal in comedy - and with very good reason. 

Blank starts us off by explaining why horny teenagers might have enabled China's perceived abilities in hacking, before helping Taylor and Hannah get a leg up with a case from the golden age of Hollywood.

In this ep, the wonderful Robyn Perkins is here to share a story of how an overprotective mum's imagination resulted in police action. The team then go back to the early twentieth century to talk about a case which shows they really are birds of a feather when it comes to crime solving. Finally, this week's listener crime means a close shave for one unsuspecting family member.

Today, comedian Liz Guterbock popped in to tell us about the time a thief had clear aspirations to join the Dalston elite - and most likely had a beard - before helping to solve a bank heist which was far from a load of bologna.

Time for another mash up and today, we're joined by Mike from hit True Crime Podcast 'Murder Mile' and together we are DRUNK MILE!

We start in a way familiar to us, with Mike telling us about the time he was the victim of a crime, then for the first time in DWSC history Hannah and Taylor have a crime story presented to them by the studio guest, as Mike opens a cold case from history which really has legs.

Today's episode should be called 'Return of the Petts', because seasoned detective Chloe Petts decided to pop into DWSC HQ once more to help us solve a crime or two.
