Speaker 1 (00:00):
Because some journeys are better taken together. Let's walk the talk.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Seven. When was the last time you went to the
cinema to go watch a film? And you remember watching
Form that.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
Was Mission Impossible as well, and I got the big
popcorn of course and the water of course, and that
was all yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
No chocolate.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
No, Actually I didn't, I know, I know, done you
and for that time I didn't.

Speaker 4 (00:24):
Also it was the earliest I no. I lied with Ballerina.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
I'd seen Vision Impossible the week before and then I
went to see John Wick Ballerina and it was like
eleven o'clock.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
Screening or something.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
So nothing wrong with having I know, I know, I know,
I know.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
It was a Sunday, and you know on a Sunday
you always have afterwards and you have a big lunch
and then you have so I think I was saving
myself then. But I do like the big popcorn.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Yeah yeah, and which started to use.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
The cheese and chives the best, the best you could
be my movie.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
But absolutely I just want to have water, though you'll
have the only time I have a sugar intake is
when I'm watching the Form, so I will ironically, it's
the only time I have crim soda. By the way,
the only takes nice I consume crim soda is when
I go to the film, I mean to the cinema.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
I think I'm gonna do that. That's a nice one
to have.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
You obviously have to tell us about what wonderful activities
we should consider.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
In how Tang and in the Cape try, we start
in how tank Let's.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Do the houting Pipe Track Series three is happening in
Queenswood in Pretoria and it's at eight a m. But
first I'm going to get the question from you. I
know what is a pump track. A pump track is
a twisting, looping roller full track that you ride with
our peddling, so you pump your body and you're going
up and down the bumps spilt at speed. But in

(01:39):
our cases it's BMX meets skate parks. You're gonna use
you are going to use your bicycle, your mountain bike
or your BMX bike. It is gonna have pedals, but
you're going to try and get around the course as
quick as possible. Timers get riders get timed on the
laps to see how they can do on the leaderboard,
and only the five riders per class hit the final
to battle it out HOWTINGBMX dot C. It's going to

(02:01):
be a great one. Even if you haven't entered, go
check out. Some of the best are on the bikes
out there. Then the Pilansburg outright is happening from Land,
Syria off Money Boungware drive through to the Pilansburg with
the thirty K, a twenty eight K and a twenty
six K speed t DK speed twenty eight k speed
and a twenty six k speed and there is a

(02:21):
shuttle back so you can cycle there and then shuttle back.
It's going to have world class safety support, well organized stops,
goodie bags, so really great event. And then Leon Pisada
not spring book fuss bait in Pretoria. Let's say that
again quickly. The Leon Bisada notes springbook fuss bait happening
in Pretoria. That's on Saturday the twelfth, and it starts

(02:42):
from seven to twenty the twenty one point one at
ten and a five K, so it's not just a run,
it's fussbait like a Springbok at that one. So jating,
quite busy and quite active this weekend.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Absolutely despite the cold weather. It's zero degrees in Johannesburg
to game minus one in for the and I think
it's like one or two in Pretoria at the minimum
this morning.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
Oh okay, please just do those layers when you go
out to the start line because it is quite chilly
and tackling warm afterwards.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Absolutely in the Cape.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
In the Cape, we've got an activity for the youngsters
happening this weekend.

Speaker 5 (03:19):

I'd like to share our fun activity for the school holidays.
It's the Cape Gate Ice Drink that is open until
the twenty first of July. It is based in our
covered parking area and your entrance six with a fun,
colorful disco theme. You can book your tickets at web

(03:40):
Tickets or you could come and pay at the door.
We do advise that you do book online though, and
the last session of every day is a silent disco,
so you look very forward to seeing all the kiddies
coming through and having loads of fun.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
Let's to keep the youngsters busy on the ice rink.
Then the nice of the cycle two are happening on
site Saturday, the Big Nights and the festival this weekend,
and there is a twenty thirty five, a fifty and
a fifty five as well as an eighty six mountain
bike or one hundred kilometer road challenge are on the
Saturday and the Sunday is the mountain bike and the
Harbor to Head's Canoe Challenge is taking place on Sunday

(04:17):
in Nisner with a gappies and a junior race for
fifteen and unders. There's a short course and a long
course and a great one to go out to support.
Don't forget the Still Day Trail Run in France, who
are happening on Saturday at ten fifteen, a twenty five
and a thirty five.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
Kilometer, so lots of distances there.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
And then finally the team from the Armory Boxing Studio
in Woodstock have let us know that they are hosting
their women's that it's called Ladies That Punch, Almost said
Women That Punch. Ladies That Punch sponsored by Stanley.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
It starts the fifth of August.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Till the twenty third of October, every Tuesday and every
Thursday evening and it's a beginner course for those who
have never been to a boxing studio.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
But what I do love about it when you do
a get part of it.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
They are giving free stanleys to everyone joining our next
Ladies That Punch course, so that's one exciting reason to join,
and to support the Menstruation Foundation request to end period poverty.
They do a donation and a drop off point, so
that's a great tie in and it's.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
Just a lovely one.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
A lot of the people that go to this are
new in Cape Town or have made new friends and.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
Discovered new communities and new networks.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
So it's not just about the fitness and the greater
chance to just learn to box, it's also about the camaraderie,
making new friends and entries for this book up very
very quickly. That's why I'm telling you about it now.
Armory Boxing dot com. Just get hold of the team
on their website. They've posted off the details and they've
got those drop off points for sanitary towels.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
Which you can drop off at. They're the Armory.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
Boxing Studio and it's just lovely to see that they're
using this ladies event to give back to Menstruation Foundation.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
And of course speaking of yes, we are less than
two weeks away or just about actually from seven or
two the Walk the Talk, which is happening on the
twenty seventh of July in the city of Tany through
Freedom Park. It's an event hosted by Freedom Park in
the city. We expect about twenty thousand people to participate
over three distances of four kilometers, six point seven kilometers

(06:20):
and eight kilometers. It's for parents, it's for kids, it's
for moms with prams, and it's for girlfriends and guy
friends and all sorts of things.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
Are the friends who are coming especially to that event
from cases and they are dressing up together, they are
having fun and making a girl's weekend of it. So
you can really make it something fun and memorable, because
those are the events that you talk about for years
to come. Correctly and the big thing. I always remind
everyone that parking sells out. This parking ride, it sells
out very quickly. Get those tickets please.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Absolutely.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
You can go to primeteriplus dot com to ensure that
you don't miss out. Entries will close officially on the
twenty third of July, but when we hit that cap
of twenty five entries, we will close them obviously because
we want to make sure that everyone has a good
time and we have to limit the number of walkers
that we can have at the event. It's happening on

(07:11):
the twenty seventh of July. It's happening at Freedom Park
in the city of Journey. It's over three distances and
all you have to do is go to promeidia plus
dot com to sign up.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
What are you doing this weekend?

Speaker 4 (07:20):
I am going to the Kruger. Of course, leave stretch.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
We don't see you Monday and Tuesday. Only back on
Wedndes Wednesday, and we.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
Are doing workout Wednesday, which is a great walking tip
and techniques, which is going to be great for any
of those who are looking at doing walk the Talk.
So that's what we'll talk about on Wednesday. But I
will be enjoying the Kruger. I think with the half
of Kating who are in the Kruger at the moment
and half of Casan. I've been getting messages from people
in came to and saying, Hey, we're in the Kruger.
We're in the Kruger.

Speaker 4 (07:47):
So it seems that if you're not in Nisner, you're
in the Kruger.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
So I'll see you on the game, and please make
sure you've got all the layers you need because the
morning's see I'm.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
Drinking straight rate for Safari. I can get on the plane,
go on the Safari.
