(01:26):
All right, and welcome back toanother episode of the Eat Sleep Fantasy Football
podcast, also known as the RedSolo Cup of Fantasy football podcasts. My
name is Christian Brito, and joiningme as always, it's mister Dale.
Demp what's up? Dale? Thatwas good? That was good. Clayton
never does it doesn't inter. It'slike that for me. Man, I'm
(01:47):
excited. I'm excited because with we'vedone hours of prep for this episode,
so we're gonna have an amazing timetoday. Really, you know, you
said we are the Red Solo Cupsof fantasy football because people use us.
They like to use us a lot, but then we just get thrown to
the side and nobody cares. SoI think we're the Red Solo Cup because
(02:08):
I think underappreciated. Man, Ihate dishes. There's no reason for me
to have this in the middle ofthe week. We're recording this at three
pm right now. There's no reasonfor me to have a Red Solo Cup.
But it's also It's not only thefact that I hate dishes, but
I love the ambiguity of you haveno idea if I'm day drinking yeah yeahs,
(02:34):
and you hate petles. There's twothings we know Christian hates already on
this. Okay, all right, listen. I will say, if I
had a preference, I would neverallow stores to sell those little paper straws.
Don't get me started, never mind, I hate everybody. Straw suck
Everywhere's terrible. We could find abetter alternative. If you're listening to this
(02:55):
right now and you like paper straws, I don't like you. Yeah,
turn off the podcast right now.Nobody likes paper straws. If you like
paper straws, you also enjoy bumperto bumper traffic if you if you like
paper straws, you also would draftAvin Cook in the first round. Okay,
(03:16):
that's a little harsh. If youlike paper straws, you would draft
se Quon Barkley over Tyreek Hill. That's just the type of person you are.
Guys, we have a fun episode. If this is your first time
listening to the podcast, I'm sorrythis every episode, literally, for the
(03:37):
last like ten episodes, I've saidthe same thing I've said, if you
listen to this episode, it's notlike the other episodes. But I'm starting
to believe that every episode is gonnabe completely different. And I don't believe
anybody likes likes to listen anymore. But here we are. Here we are,
Christian Breeder. Man, it's beena long time since we talked.
You quit the podcast abruptly and thenwe haven't seen you sent. Everybody's like,
(04:01):
where's Brito. I'm like, itwas I don't know if it was
an abrupt quit, more like,uh, what do the kids do these
days? They like slow quit?Yeah, quite quit? You quite quiet?
That it was? You were quietquitting before quiet quitting was a thing.
Yeah, because I'll take Christian. You want to record tonight? No,
not tonight, all right, we'lldo it tomorrow maybe and the next
day. Hey, hey, youwant to do it now? You know
(04:25):
this week I'll be out of town, but maybe next week man, And
now I'll come back the guilt theGuilt Tripping podcasts. Now four years later,
here we are. Yeah. That'sthe only reason I want to have
you on, Christian. I appreciateyou joining me. Take care man,
all right, man joking, Thanksfor having me on dot don't anyways.
Yeah, so we have a coupleof things going on. I'm gonna talk
(04:48):
a little bit about rankings in aminute. Before we do that, I
do want to let everybody know wewill be doing more and more podcasts with
mock drafting. If you guys haven'tstarted mock drafting, make sure you guys
go to fantracks dot com slash EESF. Check out their whole platform over there.
It's amazing. I know you've heardme talk about it every single episode.
It's because it's amazing new interface. If you guys haven't been there in
(05:12):
a long time, I think you'regonna enjoy the new interface. It's totally
customizable, really fun if you needanything. Not only for fantasy football and
they didn't tell me to say this, but not only for fantasy football,
but there's all kinds of other race, car, golf, all kinds of
stuff that you might want to checkout. So make sure you go to
fantracks dot com slash e s F. It's free to sign up, so
it doesn't cost you anything. Basically, they're paying you to join basically,
(05:33):
So make sure you check that out. All right, Yeah, I just
got back from a trip to Vegas. From Vegas, a lot of fun.
I tried to convince you to go. What'd you do out there?
Yeah? Just hanging out? Yeahyeah, I was hoping you would tell
me what happens in Vegas? Butyeah, I almost got you almost got
(05:56):
there. There's a saying what happens? Yeah, yeah, something something happens
in Vegas sometimes something like that.Yeah, but fool me. Can't get
fooled again. We had a lotof fun though. My cousin went and
John Chapman also joined us, sothat we had a good, good couple
of days. It was a goodtime. Too much to everything I need
to know. Yeah, yeah, yeah it was. Wait did you so
(06:19):
let's go back. Let's take everybodyback four years? Four years? So
the last time I went to Vegaswith you guys, right around four years
from now. It was supposed tobe what a three day trip something like
that? Was it was short.Yeah, Dale practically missed the whole trip.
It was jet lagged. It tookme a night to get there.
(06:41):
Then I was jet lagged and nightnumber one. Your flight just kept getting
delayed till the point that it gotdelayed to the next day. So you
missed night number one and uh yeah, I missed the escape room that night
because I's so tired, and uhyeah, but everybody had a good time
still, and then next day andthe next day we had a good time.
So yeah, that's great to havea good time, Christian. Do
(07:06):
you realize Look, we're both gettingolder. Do you feel like And I'm
not there yet, but people alittle bit older than me, it feels
like they know like north, southeastand west way better. Like at any
point an old man could cut tome be like, oh, did you
check out the west side of thatbuilding? And I'm looking around, like,
(07:27):
where's the west side of the building? Does it happen to you?
Yeah, I can't be the onlyone putting your thumb in the air.
Wait, that's not what that means. People just like my dad, he
always is He's like, oh,check out the northwest corner of whatever.
I'm like, northwest, what's north? Like that's it's okay, that's just
west, and so that's east.Like I have to do it every single
time. I'm really good with directionsthough, as long as it's like here
(07:54):
in Miami, like I know whereeverything is. So if I told you
if I told you, hey, check out the host bib on the southwest
corner of your house, are yougonna know exactly where that's at? So?
I mean, yeah, west isthat way? So southwest is that
way? Yeah? I do actually, like, okay, I hate to
be honest there, but that's Imean, it's just like a specific category.
(08:15):
But I get it. I feellike there's a lot of things that
like people slightly older than me shouldlike know how to do, and I
don't. And I think I thinkthat's I don't. I don't know if
that's like a generational thing or ifthat's just like a personal you know,
you feel like a fraud that youfeel like you don't. You still feel
young, you still feel like youdon't know everything, and so you're in
(08:37):
a room with younger people, thenyou feel like you know so much more
than them. We're talking to somebodyin Vegas and I'm okay, I'm forty,
but I still feel like I havean ear to the streets, right,
I still feel like I know what'sgoing on. I know the culture,
I know what's going on. Iwatch a lot of TikTok. Apparently,
Okay, I was trying to beyoung and they're like, oh,
(08:58):
who do you listen to? I'mlike, oh, you know, I
named like a couple of hip hopartists that I like. And then I
went off on a limb because Iwanted to be cooler, and I said
young Gunna okay, and they said, there's as younger. It's just gonna
see. I thought it was youngand they laughed and laughed, and then
everybody laughed at me and pointed atme, and I felt really bad,
(09:18):
but I was almost certain it wasyoung Gunner. So that was It was
pretty embarrassing. But I feel likeTikTok has me much younger. Like I've
been watching a lot of the Bobbyalt Off. You know who she is?
Right? Oh? Boy? Yeah? Because she keeps sharing videos of
(09:41):
this podcast in our chat. Yes, I'm in. I'm like, uh,
I don't know. Enamored Is thatthe right word? Okay? For
those of you that don't know whoBobby is? Who is Bobby? I
don't know. She's a She wasa a mom TikTok, right, she
had a lot of following and thenshe started podcast. She got Drake on
(10:01):
like one of her first episodes, blew Up. She has a lot of
other big you know, big names. Now on the podcast, she does
kind of like the between two Ferns, Zach Gelfanaki's style interview. You know.
So, I think it's pretty interesting. I think it's fun to watch.
But the more I know about thisstuff, I just feel younger.
I just feel like I'm everything isEverything on that podcast is like serious tongue
(10:24):
in cheek but it's it's actually joking, but it's just seems very serious,
very man and awkward. Yeah, which Dale loves that kind of humor,
and I don't know, it's okay, Yeah, I mean, let's not
get into the whole you know,Seinfeld, And there's a specific type of
(10:50):
humor that you like that a lotof people enjoy a lot of people enjoy.
Yeah, that I don't always agreewith. But no, I mean
she she's obviously done something right, right because she's came out of nowhere,
got a bunch of people on hershow. It's she's riding the wave of
the moment of popularity. I think. Yeah, So, I think that's
really just what it is. Andapparently she's fun to watch and she's I
(11:16):
mean, she's first glance. Look, I'm not here to like judge women.
I have two daughters and a wife. Here we go. All this
is literally just prefacing the fact thatyou're gonna judge women right now. But
let's go continue. Let's let's letme get into it. Look, at
first, it's weird. There's there'scertain people and men and women. I'm
not just saying women, there's certainmen too, you know, Like me,
(11:41):
first glance, you're like, he'sjust a regular dude, a little
you know, a little overweight graybeard. But the more you watch and talk
to me, You're like, youknow what, yeah, something you know.
And I feel like that's the samewith her. Like at first,
I was like, whatever, she'sjust a normal chick, Like she's a
mom, whatever, she's married,And like, the more I watch her,
(12:01):
it's like she has something. Shehas something, right, Okay,
just by just just my observations forthe day. It's normally when Clayton's not
here, I'm doing this by myselfand I'm just talking into the abyss and
I have nobody to tell me how, you know, spot on him with
some of my Yeah, I reallythought you were like just based on how
(12:26):
you were getting into that last conversationof listen, I'm not here to judge
women. I really thought I wasgoing to go straight downhill. It's like
it's like prefacing something with like I'mnot racist, but yeah, I'm not
homophobic, but like that's what itsounded like, right right, right,
(12:46):
and so we get it wasn't I'mjust saying, yeah, I mean,
you know, we I don't thinkwe have any female listeners left. I'm
pretty sure we don't have any listenersleft. There's a couple, there's a
couple. I got any from. One guy said he still listens something,
is it Carl. I don't shoutout the car, shout out to you
(13:07):
might see Carl live. Yeah, yeah, yeah, he's still doing it.
Yeah, we know we have ahandful. I think we probably have
five listeners. Still. It's nottoo bad. I don't know how many
good side this episode, but wehave to see. What you need to
do is like put us on TikTok. Okay, all right, we're gonna
do it. Listen, let's dosome clips. Let's do some We're gonna
(13:28):
do it. TikTok clip right now, right now, in the middle of
the podcast. Okay, okay,do it. All right, what do
you have? But we're gonna makeit fantasy related. Okay, r ready,
okay, blind rink these five fantasyfootball players, bryd rink without knowing
who's coming next one through five. You gotta give me a ranking when I
give you their name and they don'tknow who's coming, like like I watch
(13:48):
this on TikTok all the time.Right, I'm gonna start with somebody who
I think is is kind of trickyto rank this year. Josh Jacobs.
Okay, Josh, where you puthim? One through five? I'll put
him at Okay, are we doingall running backs or just everybody? We're
doing overall? Overall? Okay,Josh Jacobs, I'll say four. Josh
(14:11):
Jacobs at a four? Okay, all right. Now, I'm gonna make
this a little tougher for you,Bijean Robinson. Blind rank him, all
right, you got you got thefour taken up already, So okay,
I'll put him at I'll put himat three. Okay, all right,
all right, now let's switch itup a little bit. We're gonna go
(14:33):
to somebody that can make or breakyour team depending where you get him,
because he could be a game changer, but he's at a position that is
not as needy, Patrick Mahomes, where would you put him? See,
Bijean was three and Josh Jacobs wasfour. Ennessy wise, you gotta say,
(14:56):
Patrick Mahomes has to be five.I can't put him ahead of Bijeon.
Okay, all right, So allyou got left is the one and
two, one and two. You'regonna scream, all right, No I'm
not because coming up next you gotAustin Eckler. Are you're putting him?
We got one and two left.I'm gonna say one. No, no,
no, no, no, yeah, I'm gonna say one. Okay.
(15:22):
I I think it too. Ithink you just got one spot that
kind of messed you up a littlebit, and we're gonna go. We're
gonna go Miles Sanders at the two. Unfortunately. Yeah, not not great,
not great, not great. Honestly, you just shift Miles Sanders down
to the five and it would havebeen a great list. Yeah yeah,
(15:43):
yeah, yeah, for sure.Bad. But you fucked it up.
Yeah I did. I did.The TikTok game isn't as fun to play
as it is to watch. I'lltell you that I always wanted to play
along, but that game, Idon't know, kind of kind of STU.
It's hard. It's hard with fantasystuff. I think, yeah,
yeah, yeah, yeah, rightright, because because it's so you just
know, right like you have yourrankings. So if it's wrong, now,
(16:07):
if you're doing like breakfast foods, like, I'm gonna do you.
Okay, okay, here we go, starting with bacon. Listen, I
will say, and this is gonnabe an unpopular opinion if I have to
choose, which I don't because ifthey tell me bacon or sausage, I
always say both. Just charge meextra. If I have to choose bacon
(16:29):
or a sausage link, I'm gonnabe specific a sausage link. I'm not
a sausage patty. Sausage patties arenot as good. I'm gonna go sausage
like nine times out of ten unlessit's like that thick cut bacon that I'm
going bacon, all right, butbacon, I don't know what else is
coming down the pipe. I'm gonnago too. It's strong. It is
right there with sausage in terms ofbreakfast meats. And then really the only
(16:52):
thing that you can let's see whatelse is on this list. I'm gonna
go two. I think two isgood. Okay, okay, waffles.
See here it becomes like do youlike the waffle more or do you like
the pancake. The waffle is likethe pancake with flair, But do you
always need that flare? Sometimes? You know it's four am, you're drunk,
(17:14):
you hit a Denny's. You justyou just want some pancakes. But
waffle House, so like, I'mgonna go waffles other than three. I
think it was solid solid okay, okay, wait wait wait no, no,
no, no, no, no, back it up. Four four
four ye. I got a coupleof guys in mine the waffles in the
four yeah, okay, all right, eggs, oh simplicity wise has to
(17:37):
be up there. He's just gonnasay this. I'm just gonna say this,
okay, I wait, hold on, hold on, before we say
it. You've you're I'm not gonnacall it a health kick. You're just
a healthy lifestyle guy. Now,you're not on a health kick anymore.
You probably eat like thirty eggs aday. I eat eggs every day.
I eat eggs every day. Ilove eggs, and I think they're so
(18:00):
versatile. You know what I'm saying, Like, yeah, you you can
boil them. What does this?Scramble them? You can fry them,
all right, keep going, welisten. You can have them just egg
whites. If you're trying to beon a health cake, right, can't
make mayonnaise without them, that's true, you know? Yeah, and how
(18:22):
many? How many condiments are manonesbased? You need eggs. But if
we're just talking about pure breakfast foods, I'm gonna go eggs in the three.
I like them more than waffles, less than bacon. Okay, so
you have bacon eggs than waffles sofar, correct? Yep? Okay,
all right, hash browns number one. I love hash brons. Really,
(18:45):
I wasn't expecting that. Yeah, shredded or shredded. Absolutely, yeah.
My wife started getting but a littlebit of syrup on them. Oh look,
no, you don't pour styrup onit. You accidentally syrup on them?
Yeah yeah, yeah, that's that'sfair. I pour the syrup on
it. I'm fat. But andthen the last one, So you have
(19:08):
hash browns, bacon, eggs, wall face, yep, I think that's
five. Don't you dare say sausage. I'm gonna be very mad. Grits.
Okay, that's fine. I don'tmind grits. I'm gonna tell you
something about grits, and it's gonnaget people piste. Grits is go with
some sugar packets in it. Iknow, I know, I'm basically making
(19:30):
oatmeal. I get that. AndI know grits with gravy or like grits
on a biscuit or whatever whatever.Fine, I don't mind that. But
I actually like grits with like sugar. That's weird, I like. But
that's the thing. I like allmy breakfast food the diabetes way, like,
pour some syrup on it. I'mnot I get a plate. I'm
(19:51):
just it's too soupy. I don'tlike soupy foods. I don't like soup.
I think it's a fair five,though it doesn't compare to anything else
on the list. I might, but I'm not going out of my way
for it. I think you kindof killed that. It seems like you've
been practicing that a little bit.Yeah, I might. If I had
to redo it, I would, because the sausage never came up. I
would swap the bacon and the hashbrowns. Yeah, you were just scared
(20:15):
sausage. I didn't want to automaticallyon the first thing, give the one.
But going back to Bijean Robinson,Man, why the fuck is everybody
ranking him so high? I thinkhis ceiling is crazy, you know.
I mean, he doesn't have anycompetition behind him. He should be in
a somewhat improved offense. And really, I mean the guys, the running
(20:38):
backs that you're ranking behind him,Really, this isn't a strong running back
year. I mean you're looking atlike Tony Pollard whatever. I know,
people were lacking Jonathan Taylor. Wedon't really know, uh, Josh Jacobs.
And there's like a steep drop offlike Naja Harris, Travis sten etn
(21:00):
Romantri Stevenson. Like, so justbased off this ceiling alone, you got
to rank him up there, Imean at number one pick and a redraft.
No, I have him behind AustinEkeler. I'll probably have him ata
you know around the sea Kuan Barkleylike Bijan se Kuan back to back.
And I can get that, likein a dynasty, you're going after him
immediately, right, you get everysingle year of production and and all of
(21:23):
that. But are we just assumingthat he gets exactly what Algiro was getting
Towards the end of the year thatlike eighteen twenty carries that happened after Week
thirteen, every single carry. Yeahyeah, I mean, and you can
catch the ball too. He's gonnabe involved in the passing game. So
somebody asked somebody. I don't thinkAtlanta's gonna be very good, but somebody
(21:45):
has to. So here's here's wheremy question comes. Is there no hesitancy
for you in drafting somebody that we'venot seen do it before in an offense
that is the ocre at best, the whole, the whole narrative. You
know, back in the day whenwe first started playing fantasy football, you
(22:07):
know, it's like, don't eventouch the rookie running back. It was
like Adrian Peterson and that was it. You know, he's an anomaly.
Lately, these guys can come onand they're so athletic and so big and
so fast that it's kind of changedthe game a little bit. I mean,
Jonathan Taylor, you should have gottenhim early. Sae Kwan, you
should have gotten him early, right, you know when I'm talking about you
know, right when there were rookiesand so people kind of miss missed out
(22:30):
on it. Zeke made an impactimmediately, and so everybody's you know,
if if he is what we thinkhe is. So my my fear with
running rookie running backs is just howmuch they let them loose to start the
year. Because okay, let's takean example last year, like not quite
as good, but everybody last yearassumed that at some point Romandr Stevenson was
(22:52):
going to be the guy in NewEngland, right, Yeah, And that's
exactly what happened. That's point hebecame the guy, but he kind of
looked into that between injury and hewas getting way less carries and he was
just way more productive with them.I fear with rokie running I don't think
that's going to be the case withRobinson. Yeah, I still think he's
(23:15):
a top twelve pick. But ifyou're gonna give me an option right now,
am I gonna take Jean Robinson?Or am I gonna take Nick Chubb
right now? And I'm I don'twant to swing and miss on my first
pick. And I don't think it'sgoing to be a swinging miss. But
I fear what happened to me,for example, last year in fantasy football,
where you spend a good pick ona guy that you have to wait
(23:41):
for and in that time that you'rewaiting, you're losing games. Yeah,
I don't think that's the case withhim, But I think it's just a
topic to have in terms of likehow you look at specific players and how
much you're spending. Not this year, this year. I think it's a
good it's a good pick, butI would rather take a guy like Nick
Chub if I'm if I'm risk averse, right, and I think the only
(24:07):
time to be risk averse is withyour first pick. Yeah, so that's
the only thing. Like, Ithink the guy is going to be great,
But I just I don't think it'sjust like this given that there's no
risk involved. Yeah, right,And I agree with you. I agree,
But everybody's at risk, right,Like, Okay, how is Tony
(24:29):
Poler going to handle being the guyby himself? How is how is say
kan Markley gonna be like is heactually fucking healthy for once? Is Derrick
Henry gonna slow down now this year? Like everybody behind him as just as
must risk? So I get it. I get if you want to be
like swing for the fences, becausethis guy's range of outcomes is anywhere from
(24:49):
a top twenty four running back tothe number one guy by the end of
the year. You know, yeah, yeah, no, I do agree
with that. I think you're righton that. Yeah, the first round,
you don't want to whiff right likethe others. You can kind of
you know, second, third, fourth, like you could take a little
bit of a chance that first roundpick. You got to make sure that
you're cashing in. You know. That's you know, justin Jefferson and Jamar
(25:11):
Chase, those guys, they're goingreally high sometimes one oh one, one
oh two and a lot of draftand it's because there's no risks there.
You know what we're gonna get fromboth of those got a shape, their
quarterbacks, stay healthy. You know, it's just gonna be so consistent for
them. Then that's why they're sohigh. Well that's why they're picked them
so high. But anyways, Igot a question because I wouldn't even say
(25:33):
recently, because we haven't really talkeda lot recently. Like to face like
this, when you I'm drinking.I drink Celsius every once in a while,
and especially when I need to pickme up as a ton of caffeine.
I've never been a caffeine guy.I'd never drank coffee, and I
just recently started drinking Celsius. Bythe way, Celsius is a sponsor of
ours, but definitely, they're definitely. I listen, I'd be on this
(25:56):
podcast a lot more if you managedto get Celsius a sponsor. I'm just
gonna throw that out there. Yeahyou want, you want a couple of
cases, I'll send you a palette. Considering how much Celsius I drink,
I would love that. It's soexpensive too, so you gotta go to
Costco for him. Yeah, Imean they you know, every once in
a while you can get them onsale at publics that actually go bogo for
(26:18):
the full fact. Oh wo yeah, yeah, that's nice. I gotta
keep up on that. I onlypay attention to the chicken tender sub pricing
on publics. Yeah, do youstill drink? Do you still eat chicken
tender subs? No? I havenot a chicken center tub and while listen,
but here's the thing, I yeah, so wait, hold on,
I was gonna ask you, so, do you do you like? I
(26:41):
already saw the can that you havein your hand, and it is literally
the worst flavor of Celsius. Itis the t one. It is the
non carbonated one. Yeah, whyare you getting non carbonate itself? It
was an accident, it was,and that was already in my car and
I was too lazy to go backand exchange it. I was like,
God, damn it. Actually I'vehad this in my office for like month,
you know, I just opened itbecause I really needed to pick me
(27:03):
up. Do you like sweet drinks? Huh? Do you like like sweet
drinks? Like? Would you drinka pineapple soda type of thing or not?
Really? No? Not really,I don't really like that. No,
no, not really. I meanI will. I mean I drink
soda and stuff, but like sweetsweet Like now it kind of gets to
me a little bit. But I'mfinding that if I drink if I drink
a Celsie's later in the day,I get shaky. If I drink it
(27:25):
in the morning, I feel likemy body is like okay. But if
I drink it like at two orthree o'clock in the afternoon, I'm like
my arms are like shaky. Doesthat happen to you or is it come
on my body? I've had shakinessand jitters from caffeine before, but only
when I like really overdo it,and so There was a time that I
would drink like coffee multiple times aday and have a pre workout, and
(27:48):
my pre workout at that time hadthree hundred milligrams caffeine, which is one
and a half times what a celsiushas. So I've had that before to
the point where like I was havingso much calf feen that like my heart
you could physically see my chest jumping. That's so I stopped. I stopped
having caffeine for like a month, and then I just went on like a
normal like I'll have a pre workout, but I make sure that my pre
(28:11):
workouts now are only about two hundredmigrams like a celsius is, or I'll
have a celsius and then I'll havelike a coffee in the morning. I
would say, are you drinking otherthings that have caffeine that you don't realize?
Like you seem like the type ofperson that would just drink a bunch
of diet mountain dew and not realizethe mountain dew. That is so stereotypical
to say, I do I doI do demographic? I do fit that
(28:37):
demographic. No, No, likeI do try to drink a lot of
water don't one thing I'm trying todo. Can I tell you what's in
this? All right? Not thatyou you would never be able to guess.
I'm gonna I'm gonna say, Okay, I'm gonna say it's a stereotypical
soda, but I don't think you'llstill get it from there. Ah.
What is it called topachico? Okay, I'm not Mexican. I don't even
(29:03):
know if that's Mexican, but itsounds like. No, it's your Fanta,
great Fanta. Just doing this onpurpose? There's no way. I
(29:23):
love, I love and I knowthis might not fit my stereotype, but
I love grape soda. Love it. What's your type? Does it fit?
This is hooping ya? This isit's it's a it's diet, but
it's a pineapple soda that's specifically fromSouth Florida. I thought you would know
(29:47):
that. You never heard of likebar or iron beer. You don't bid
m those are all like just ifI've seen it. Maybe maybe you're just
producing it wrong. Okay, Uh, one question I did want to ask
you, And if you don't wantto talk about it, you don't have
to school me a little bit.I don't know, I don't know if
(30:08):
anybody even I think a lot ofpeople would care. I don't know why
I would say it like that schoolme a little bit on you're what do
you call them? Christ uh?Crystal gems rocks? What do you with
that thing that you have around yourneck? Oh, this is not that,
This is just something my girlfriend gaveme. This is just a little
(30:30):
like it just says I think alittle infinity and says always and forever on
it. That's just romantic. That'snot crystal. No, I mean the
healing stones and stuff like that,Like, yeah, I haven't used them.
Maybe like a one on one,one on one thing. That's really
just it depends on what you're lookingat. But hold on, I'm gonna
(30:53):
interrupt you again. Is it morelike energy coming from the actual rock or
is it more like more spiritual inthat? So I think you could look
at it. I think you couldlook at it either way, right,
I think you could look at itas like a spiritual sense, or you
(31:15):
can look at it you know howit affects. So, I don't know
how much you believe in like chakrasor energy centers of the body, But
I don't believe so I don't believein any Yeah, so I think it
really just deplads on. Like Ithink the best way to view it is
that, like our bodies are alljust energy and motion. Right, we're
(31:40):
just where where we're blood bags were, where we're just a carcass. But
inside of that, internally, it'sjust energy, right, And so you
can look at that energy physically,or you can look at that energy.
You can look at it spiritually aswell, but regardless of which way you
look at it, we're just thesecircles of energy. And regardless of whether
(32:02):
we see it or not, ourspheres and circles of energy go much further
than just our physical body. Right. Our hearts, you know, magnetic
field expands you know well into therest of this room. And that's not
like a spiritual thing, that's likea that's the actual magnetic field of our
heart. So you can feel thatand measure that outside of our body,
(32:27):
right. And so the belief whetherit's you know about chakras or crystals or
any of this, it's just theseare things that are affects our energy field.
Right. There are things that cancharge us or cleanse us, or
change our vibrations in different ways. And so the way that you vibrate something
(32:49):
changes its energy, changes the waythat it reacts, changes its intention and
focus. Right, that's a hugefocus of like chemistry. Right, you're
changing the way that something is vibrating, so you're heating it up or you're
cooling it down, You're changing theenergy within it, You're changing the actual
molecular structure of the thing. Theidea with the crystals is that these things
(33:15):
impact your energy field in a specificway. That's the most like pseudo scientific
way I can explain it while notlike getting into like too much of like
the spiritual sense of it. Butreally, like most practitioners that have anything
to do with like crystal healing justassociate different crystals with like different chakras of
(33:37):
the body. So you might lookat something like a rose Courts and be
like, Okay, this is somethingthat can affect your your heart chakra,
and it's something that you can medicatedifferent for everybody. So like, does
like a rose Courts affect you differentlyin the me or it shoulder the same
purpose? Yeah, it serves thesame purpose. Yeah, interesting, interesting,
(33:58):
Yeah similar, Yeah, it'll justit'll it might serve a different purpose
because you are looking for something differentfrom it, right. I think a
lot of it also has to dowith like intention that you put behind things
and the belief that you put behindthings as well, Like, regardless of
whatever it's actually doing, the intentionthat you have behind it. Right,
(34:19):
If you're like, hey, I'mgoing to focus on my heart and healing
my heart and like how I wantto display more love to this person or
something or whatever, and you you'redoing that with that intention, I think
it affects way more than than notto say that these things don't, but
way more than than anything else.Rights, it's behind it's it's what you
(34:39):
put in terms of your energy behindit, you know, yep? Is
it? Though? I don't feellike this is going to click with your
audience. I say you're this timebecause I said we earlier and I was
like, I saw you visibly likecringe, like who's we? No?
No, no, no, no, hey, this is your audience too,
(35:00):
this is your answer. I'm justI'm just joking. I feel like
I feel like I should introduce youto Joe Rogan. You should be on
his podcast. Yeah, he doesa lot of shrooms apparently. M Yeah,
have you ever done any any Drugsdale, No, have you none?
That was quick answering what like youanswered before I even ask you the question.
(35:25):
You were telling me You're like you'reasked. Okay, Yeah, I
mean hero win a couple of times. Wasn't it for me? Was it
black Tor? Yeah? Can you. I've never heard of anybody that says
like, oh, I tried thatand it wasn't for me, Like as
far as like heroin or crack.I've heard people say that about cocaine,
(35:47):
but this is my Yeah, yeah, of course, I'm a couple of
players here that I'm gonna be draftingthat not a lot of people are,
and I'm gonna keeper league. Ihad an interesting dilemma here, and my
rankings are almost back to back toback. At first glance, I put
(36:08):
DK metcalf ahead of these guys. But the more I looked at it,
the more I trust DJ Moore.I have DJ Moore, Calvin Ridley,
and DK Metcalf. I I thinkI have dj more ranked lower for some
reason, but I kind of wantto take a stab at him. I
(36:29):
don't know what those All three ofthose guys are low end wide receiver ones.
I feel a wide receiver twos.I feel like I will say this.
I will say this, those areall three very like physically gifted guys,
right yeah, But if you're goingto and I know, this is
probably the guy with the most questionmarks in terms of like, Okay,
(36:52):
he was suspended, he's been goneforever, but who's the one that has
the best quarterback? Right, who'salso the one that has arguably the least
competition. I really like Calvin Ridley, and I don't get why he's not
actually higher. I get it hewas gone for a whole year, but
(37:15):
that is like shape, right exactly. And who is who's his competition?
Evan Ingram, Yeah right, that'sthat's who towards the second half of that
year when they went on the run, was the most involved guy in that
offense. Like, I really likeCalvin Ridley, and but I can see
(37:38):
putting any of these guys above anyof the other ones. DJ Moore is
a guy that's going kind of upin the rinks a little bit, I
think, because more and more peopleare trusting, Hey, this is what
Feels is going to do this year. He's gonna be better, he's gonna
take a step forward. They broughtmore in for a reason, Like he's
gonna be the guy. Obviously,he's another guy that doesn't have a lot
(38:00):
of competition. I'm kind of withyou, like if I I'm kind of
on board with dropping Metcalf below theseguys in my mind, and I know
that's not the consensus, but like, if there's a quarterback here that could
take a step back, I thinkit's Geno Smith. It's not gonna be
(38:22):
field Field is not right. FieldField is not gonna be worse, right,
right, And we've seen what theywant to do in Jacksonville, right,
They want to throw the ball more. They started doing that in the
second half of that last year andthat's the reason why they made them playoffs
and they were successful, is becausethey started to rely on their star.
(38:46):
And so give me you said youwant DJ Moore the most out of these
three guys, But yeah, yeah, I would say I would put them
Ridley More and then Metcalf, AndI think that's the opposite of how their
ranks like consensus. Yeah, so, but I don't mind it. If
(39:07):
you wanted to take Dj more, who would you end up keeping more?
Yeah? Dj Moore? Yeah,And it's not a weird I had a
weird situation last year where I hadWattle, Lava Higgins, and somebody else
all at the same time, andI ended up keeping Wattle just because I'm
a homer. Yeah that's because.Look, we say that all the time.
(39:30):
I mean we've said that all thetime since we started the podcast.
Is like, we're playing fantasy football. They have fun and to watch football.
And if you have a home teamand you have a really good player
on a home team, like drafthim and root for him. Why not?
It made it was so much morefun to wear my fucking Jalen Wattle
jersey and go watch the game attop forty two and celebrate a fantasy football
(39:51):
win because of him there, andthen celebrate, you know, fucking when
Ramondi Stevens said, would score formy team? You know, great,
you scored against the Dolphins. I'mso happy. Yeah. Yeah, that's
tough, especially when you're you know, you're a fan of a shitty team
and then when they finally do win. Tough. Anyways, I have a
(40:19):
couple of quick things. We'll letme pull this up. I'm sorry,
why are you doing that? Whyare you doing that? Blind? Rank
these five French fries. Okay, okay, all right, m m.
First one Chick fil a fry one? Are you serious? That was fast?
(40:45):
There's anything better than that? Wow? Okay, okay, Well,
I mean the next one I'm gonnagive you is gonna be obviously some people's
favorite. But let's go now withthe Checkers fry that that seasoned fry or
(41:07):
rallies, depending on where you're at, right, I've never seen the rallies.
Yeah, It's been a really longtime since I've had it. But
I'm gonna go I'm gonna give ita three. Okay, okay, okay,
And I feel like if you saythree for Checkers fries, that's very
similar to like Popeyes fries, SoI'm not going to include them, okay
(41:30):
in this list. It's the sameconcept. All right. We're gonna go
now with somebody who's a little bitnewer in the fry game and not consistent
in the fry game. Taco BellNacho fries. Never had him, all
right, all right, we'll switchit. We'll switch it. Le's switch
it. I have him back up. I have an honorable mention here.
Wendy's fries. Oh, Wendy's friesare good. Wendy's fries are really good.
(41:53):
That yeah, that's definitely two.Okay, definitely. I am not
happy with how you're shaking up thislist, all right, Well, because
they're natural cut Wendy's naturally, youonly have four and five left, and
I gotta do it. So youknow McDonald's. Yeah, I was afraid
I was saving McDonald's for number two. I thought you were gonna leave them
off, you know, I know, yeah, I guess before I fucked
(42:16):
up. Your list was so closeto perfect because rounding out the number five
Burger King, which probably does havethe worst fries. I feel like Burger
King fries are always cold. Idon't think I've ever eaten like warm burg
This is this is true. Thisis true. Uh, swap McDonald's and
(42:37):
Wendy's and I'd be okay with yourlist. Now you gotta swap McDonald's and
Checkers and checkers, okay, Wendy'sto me, and I don't natural that's
what it says on the box.Okay. They are the second worst Fastford
fry. The only reason that they'retolerable is because I dip them in their
honey mustard, and their honey mustardis fuego. It is or their ghost
(43:01):
Pepper range sauce, which I don'tknow if they still have it. Never
I never had it. I had. Barbecue is good. Their barbecue sauce
is like actual barbecue sauce. McDonald'sthey don't have barbecue sauce. I tried
deep. McDonald's barbecue sauce is notgood. It's not good anyways. Oh,
so I'm gonna go through this newsafter after this, we're gonna talk
(43:22):
hip hop and then we're gonna go. So if you guys want to hear
news, stay tuned. And thenif you guys want to hear some hip
hop, keep staying tuned. Butif you don't, just turn it off.
Now we're already we're already done withmonetization, so I don't really care.
All right, really quick, JoeMixon found now not guilty. I
don't know if you guys care aboutthat, but he's not going to jail
(43:45):
from aggravated menacing from a road rageincident in January. He's found not guilty.
I don't I'm sure they're any suspensionyou think, all right? Saying
uh, the assumption is that Mixonwon't face any upcoming suspension, So we'll
see on that Davin Cook obviously heis in New York Jet now the head
(44:07):
coach, Robert sale Sala sorry,is unconcerned over potential suspension. You remember
all that stuff with Dalvin Cook lastyear that was really weird. You remember,
like there was a domestic violence thingand then like the next day it
was what would like the next daylike she abused him or something. We
(44:30):
never got to the bottom of thatstory, and I don't know if nobody
seems concerned about it. But it'sout there what it's like a year and
a half old now news, butnothing ever happened, which is weird.
So I don't know what happened. That doesn't seem like anything's gonna come out
of it. Yeah, for thoseof you that are pay attention to preseason,
it'll be fun to watch Patrick PatrickMahomes. It will be starting the
(44:52):
next preseason game against Arizona. Mightmight be fun just to see him work
a little bit and see where that'sgonna go. I don't I mean,
I get the need to play, like, yeah, I would. You're
talking to like a billion dollar assetthat you're gonna put on the line when
nothing matters. Yeah, I meanyou got a feed. Guy's doing this
(45:14):
right, and you got my homezone. You got Josh Allen doing it,
and I'm just like okay. Imean, you know Javonte Williams towards
ACL last year, early in theyear, Week three or four or something
like that, he's gonna be gettinga couple of carries in the preseason game
upcoming. So it'll see be interestingto see him on the field. Javonte
Williams without that injury last year,he would be a pretty pretty big prospects
(45:38):
as far as running backs go.Yea, Josh Allen, like you mentioned,
he's gonna be getting the start. There's not a ton of news,
you know. CJ. Stroud isstill named starter for the preseason. Everybody's
assuming that he's going to start theseason over Davis Mills. See about that.
(46:00):
Keep an eye on it, that'sreally Yeah, everything else that's happened
has been old news. You know, if you weren't aware by now that
Dovin Cook is member of the Jets, you know that's that's you know,
that's it or yeah, so onething that that you should kind of just
(46:21):
keep a not a close eye. What's opposite of a close eye? Just
keep an eye out Deshaun Watson.People around camp and close to the teams
have not been impressed. Actually, the headline that I'm reading here is they
have been completely unimpressive. He hasbeen completely unimpressive in camp. What does
(46:44):
that mean? I don't know.I don't know. He didn't dominate when
he came back last year. There'shigh expectations for him as a quarterback at
at QB one, at least atop twelve quarterback. WE don't know,
and things showing like is he himhis old self? You know? I
don't know. I would hope not. Yeah, you think that he would
(47:06):
get better, you know, maybemaybe he just has some tightness and his
shoulders that he needs worked out.I don't know what. Yeah, yeah,
I don't know. If I werescared. Yeah, they invested a
lot and they I can't. Ican't do that. I don't. I
(47:30):
don't have a pun. It's justsome news, not only to keep an
eye out for, but just justkeep it there, handy. Yeah,
there you go, There you go. That's the one I was waiting for.
So that's really all the news wehave. Thanks for listening. Uh,
Next thing, I want to talkabout a heated debate in our chat,
(47:52):
and I don't know if you wereeven part of that. I think
you chimed in one time and thenleft the chat right after of our hip
hop Top fifty hip Hop it's aTI debate. Okay, yes, here
we go, all right. Isaid TI is definitely in the top fifty
all time hip hop top fifty.Yes, absolutely top fifty. There.
(48:13):
You cannot name fifty better people thanTI. No, right, But I
will say I'm a little biased becauseI don't like old school music, old
school hip hop, and I'm nota fan. I'm not. I'm also
not a huge fan of like ninetieship hop really and at which I know
you are the Golden era, no, the Golden erast to the two thousands,
(48:36):
and you cannot get me off ofthat. Like I am the type
of person and I again, thisis not going to play well with your
audience, but I'm gonna consistently putrappers like Little Wayne and Kanye West over
rappers like Biggie and Tubac. AndI know that's not the popular opinion,
but if you ask me who ismy number one rapper of all time,
(48:58):
I'm probably going Little Wayne, maybeKanye something like that. I would rather
listen to Drake. I'd rather listento jay Z. You know, although
jay Z blends like multiple eras.I mean, Tupac was nice. I
get it. Biggie though, Idon't think he's one. I don't think
(49:19):
Biggie is one. I don't thinkTupac is either. I think, you
know, But the whole point thatthis conversation is is like TI and I
think, if we're going like impact, he just had so many like bangers
and hits that I don't even haveto look it up, right, you
can just you can just google itand you can find whatever you like.
(49:40):
That's what you did there. Yeah, yeah, that was good. There
was an argument one of the guysin our chat was saying that Trick Daddy
was better than TI. No,absolutely not. It's like, I don't
even think that opinion should play inMiami, and Trick Daddy's only popular in
Miami is never top fifty. Yeah, Nellie still gets played in the club,
(50:04):
man. You know what, youknow what happens? You know why
people still get played in the club, right, because they're still playing in
clubs. Okay, Eminem, Iget it. I heard the disc.
Yeah, yeah, that's good.I got my ear to the streets.
Yeah, it's important to get keepeared to the streets for the culture.
(50:28):
Uh. And so yeah, there'sa lot of friends. I mean,
look to say Nellie is in thetop fifty, that's saying a lot because
you have Elo cool J, who'sdefinitely there. Right. Yeah, I'm
not saying like I'm not saying likeCurtis blow is in the top fifty.
I want to go that far. It's terrible. Yeah, but there's fifties.
(50:50):
A lot flow Rider is flow rightin the top fifty. Fifties a
lot flower flow Rider is like flowRider. What well, mister worldwide,
Oh yeah, it's okay. Coolis to to Spanish music. He's flow
(51:12):
Riders pop. I think it's rap, so yeah, would I would actually
put flow Ride on the top fifty, but it's I think if you have
a rapper hip hop enthusiast, they'regonna push back on that. But I
think floor Rider has more hits thanmost on this list that you're gonna name.
Yeah, yeah, I probably hasa good half a dozen top ten
(51:38):
hits. Who flow Rider, Yeahit's going down for that song as catchy
as hell. So he got themapple bottom jeans yes with the fur on.
Yeah, no, yes, it'sand he suits Celsius well, actually,
I don't know what you're even betalking about him. Oh again,
(52:00):
Celsie stock you know what off thetop fifty, Off the top fifty.
Just make sure when you're getting aCelsius try that's strawberry guava flavor. If
you like sweet stuff, strawberry guava, that's that's one of the worst.
This the sparkling strawberry guava is oneof the worst. Super sweet though.
If you like sweet stuff. Now, if you don't want to sweet,
try the Keywi guava. Yeah. You know what I'm into right now.
(52:21):
I'm the peach vibe. Peach Vibeis fire. Yeah, it's okay.
Yeah, all right, we've beenrambling for fifteen minutes. Is there anything
that you want to tell the audience, because yeah, you want to plug
listen. You never even play.We never really gave him a solid goodbye.
I think that's all they wanted fromyou. I'll be back. We'll
(52:42):
see Christian in twenty twenty eight. So wait, hold on, where does
TI finish for you? I'd saytop thirty, somewhere between twenty eight and
thirty, somewhere like that. That'stoo much. I think that's too high.
Hold on, because you think aboutall the people like I mean,
I can list ten, I couldlook fifteen just off the top of my
head that are way better than Tika. Can you name thirty? If I
(53:07):
really think about it, I thinkso. That's what I'm trying to tell
you. Listen starting with elkol JBeastie Boys, starting with them, and
then going are you really are youreally gonna get in your car and play
Beastie Boys? And so yeah insteadof ti if there was yes, mm
hmm, God, I don't know. BC Boys were good man. BC
(53:30):
Boys gets you going. You gottafight for your right. Yeah, that's
all rubber bad man. Yeah, yeah, he was good. So live
your life. Come on, man, I can keep going. No One
on the corner Guss Swagon like us. Oh that's amazing song. That's him.
(53:52):
Yeah, that's him, that's well, that's He's not the one thing
in the chorus that's a m Iam A. But he's in that song.
She's the one that died. Noright, no, no, she's
in my a. Oh no shedid she die? No, she didn't
die. That was Amy Winehouse. No, but I think, oh,
(54:15):
man, I think she was ona song with this other girl that died.
No, Selena, No, it'sit died too. Okay. Anyways,
(54:35):
yeah, I think we're done.Okay, hold on, hold on,
hold on. I actually do haveone more thing for you. I
want to tell you one thing.Oh, okay, one quick thing and
there will go. Because I saidthis on a podcast where I was by
myself and I wanted to I wantto make sure that somebody that I know
heard me. Okay, sure, and it's talked about dying and what made
(55:00):
me think of it. If Idie and you find out that I died,
of course, people are gonna belike the first question when anybody dies,
what do they ask? How didyou die? How did they die?
Yeah? I had a friend whorecently passed away, a high school
friend flooded. People are like,oh, I'm so sorry, anything Like
the next comment was like how whathappened? Like everybody kept asking, like
(55:21):
what happened? And it's so naturalto ask what happened. I want to
make sure that people don't have tolike trying to google, you know,
all tops of reports to find outwhat happened to me when I die?
Right? Heart attack? Wow,I'm just gonna assume it was a heart
attack. I'm fucking healthy as ahorse. There's no way I'm dying a
heart atack, says the guy who'sgetting heart policy jittering. It's from Celsius,
(55:45):
from one Celsius anyway. So ifI die, I need you to
tell me. I need you totell everybody, spread the room or like
willifire. I hope it gets tomy family that I died in quicksand accident.
I don't think that's ever happened toanyone ever till now. I think
(56:06):
that'll that would be the most Ifeel like that would be the most ethic
way. That's a very humiliating wayto die, because quicksand is quite slow.
Yes, exactly, And that's exactlyway I would probably die if I
died stepping in quicksand and just sinkingto my death slowly. Yeah. So
I just I know already told theaudience this, but I'm telling you,
(56:29):
and I'm gonna keep telling all myfriends. Spread the rumor that it was
quicksand. I don't care what itwas, it'll probably be. How do
you think Have you thought about howyou think you're gonna die? Have you
thought about it. You think it'sjust gonna be old age. Doesn't everybody
assume that they're just gonna die ofold age? I don't know. I
don't think I am. I don'tthink I am. I heart. My
(56:50):
heart will give out at some point, but hopefully it'll be old enough.
Yeah yeah, yeah, Man,can only take so many heartbreaks, right,
am I Right? What are youtrying to say? Man? I'm
saying if if it's your heart? All right? Man? One last conversation
I would love to have. Isit weird? This is just we should
(57:13):
put this on a pole somewhere. Is it weird for your friend to always
follow whoever you're dating and continue tofollow whoever you're no longer dating. Look,
I look because I know. Lookokay. Two things. One,
I know if a good friend,if it's a good friend, they'll just
keep an eye out on past relationshipsto make sure everything is still you know,
(57:36):
solid, Like I know. Youdon't care. That's why I care.
I care for you. You don'tneed to care, okay, because
something crazy happens. If maybe somebodythat I'm following that you used to follow,
you know, win's lottery and it'slooking for you. I need to
make sure she can get in contactwith you. Okay, the new girlfriend,
